The Effect of RAP Strategy in Teaching Reading
Get PDFRAP (Read, Ask, and Put) is a strategy that instructs students to focus their reading on a particular section of the text, consider the main idea and supporting ideas of the paragraph or passage, and then explain it in their own words. This study aims to determine the achievement of fourth-year students at Gontor for girls 2nd campus in reading comprehension using the RAP strategy since the researchers found that their reading comprehension is still low. This research used a quantitative experimental method with an experimental non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all fourth-year students of Gontor for girls 2nd campus with 79 students and used probability sampling which is simple random sampling. The method used in data collection is the test method and is complemented by some documentation. For the data analysis, it used the formula SPSS 22. This study concluded that the use of the RAP strategy in teaching reading comprehension on reading subjects proved effective with the formula-test acquisition value of Sig.(2.tailed) 0.009 < 0.05. Based on the conclusion, the researcher provided suggestions, they are (1) the RAP Strategy is very likely to be used to teach the reading subject to students because the students try to think critically and will understand the text with comprehension; (2) it is hoped that teachers will develop and try to apply the RAP strategy in teaching reading. The Correlation between Vocabulary Mastery and Reading Comprehension among Students at the University
Get PDFFor some students learning a foreign language, comprehending information in that language, especially in English is important. Active reading comprehension is one method of comprehending the content. Two components of language learning are reading comprehension and vocabulary mastery. The purpose of this study is to find out how students' reading comprehension in the second semester at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur and their vocabulary mastery relate to one another. The researcher collected the data for this quantitative study with correlational analysis using a vocabulary test. The reading comprehension test and the questionnaire were used to assess students’ reading comprehension. Overall second-semester students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur (UMKT) became the population used in this study. The population was 2,362 students with a 5% margin of error therefore the table size sample was 428 students. the results of the Hypothesis of the level of correlation between Vocabulary Mastery and Reading Comprehension have a strong effect on students because it is proven by a score of 0.608 and has results that follow the variable or standard coefficient of 0.60 - 0.799. in other words, there was a strong correlation between reading comprehension and vocabulary mastery among students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur. The knowledge that students gain in learning includes knowledge. The use of learning media using power points has still not been maximized by all teachers at SMKN 26 Jakarta. Therefore, it is necessary to have training in making learning videos from Power Point with the aim of developing teachers' insight in making video learning media through attractive power point animations in an easy way. This training was attended by 80 teachers of SMKN 26 Jakarta with the title How to Make a Simple Learning Video from Power Point. As a result of this training, there was an increase in the competence and ability of teachers in making teaching materials. An Analysis Socio-Cultural Critique of Uang Panai in the Buginese Tribe

Panai money, as a traditional form of money, has a significant role in the social and cultural dynamics of the Bugis people. This research carries a qualitative method with a cultural anthropology approach to explore a deep understanding of the practice of using Panai money and its impact on social structure and cultural values within the Bugis community.Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and content analysis of relevant primary and secondary sources. The results showed that Panai money was not only a medium of exchange, but also a symbol of wealth, honor, and social status in Bugis society. The existence of Panai money contributes to the formation of social hierarchies and the construction of cultural values inherent in these societies.A critical analysis of Panai money within the social and cultural context of the Bugis community can provide a better understanding of the dynamics of social relations and power structures within this community. The implications of this research are expected to contribute to a further understanding of traditional economic practices and the complexity of social structures in the context of Bugis society as well as provide a foundation for the development of better policies in preserving cultural heritage and maintaining social balance in the futur
Media Video Animasi Pembelajaran untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas 3 Sekolah Dasar
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran video animasi berbasis Canva dalam rangka meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas 3 SDN Pecalungan 1. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu Research and Development (R&D) melalu, dengan fokus pada pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi yang terutama mengarah pada konsep perkalian. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam proses pengembangan konten ini adalah melalui model ADDIE, yang melibatkan serangkaian tahapan, yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Hasil analisis capaian hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan rata – rata 96,94 yang berada pada rata –rata >80 (kategori sangat tinggi). Skor ini meningkat sangat signifikan dibanding sebelum melakukan penelitian yang berada pada rata - rata 71,67 bahwa media pembelajaran video animasi berbasis Canva yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas 3 SDN Pecalungan 1 pada pembelajaran matematika materi perkalian secara signifikan. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media video animasi berbasis Canva dapat menjadi solusi terhadap rendahnya hasil belajar matematika pada materi perkalian pada siswa kelas 3 SDN Pecalungan 1
Pengukuran Fluida Menggunakan Sensor Efek Hall UGN44E Berbasis Arduino Uno
Get PDFRiset ini bertujuan untuk menghitung nilai viskositas minyak goreng baru menggunakan sensor Efek Hall UGN44E dengan menggunakan metode bola jatuh guna memastikan waktu yang kemudian dihitung melalui Ms. Excel. Waktu terminal didapatkan dengan menjatuhkan bola magnetik pada pipa sepanjang 15 cm dan berdiameter 5 cm kemudian arduino uno secara otomatis akan menampilkan hasil pengukuran waktunya. Fluida yang digunakan adalah Minyak Goreng baru. Suhu fluida berkisar 20o, 21o , 25o , 26o , 27o, dan 28o. Setelah waktu terminal bola diketahui, kecepatan bola pada fluida dihitung menggunakan Ms. Excel lalu nilai viskositas didapatkan menggunakan persamaan pada hukum Stokes. Nilai viskositas yang diperoleh sekitar ± 3,335 N.s/m2 pada suhu 28o, ±3,389 N.s/m2 pada suhu 27o, ± 3,443 N.s/m2 pada suhu 26o, ±4,443 N.s/m2 pada suhu 25o, ± 4,054 N.s/m2 pada suhu 21o, dan ± 4,312 N.s/m2 pada suhu 20o. 
Analisis Motorik Kasar Anak Usia Dini Melalui Senam Irama TK Aisyiyah Busnatul Athfal 2 Aimas
Get PDFPendidikan anak usia dini merupakan suatu jenjang pendidikan yang merupakan upaya pembinaan untuk ditujukan bagi anak sejak lahir sampai usia 6 tahun. Keterampilan motorik kasar (gross motor skill) merupakan keterampilan gerak yang menggunakan otot besar, hal ini bertujuan untuk merangsang kecepatan gerak. Motorik kasar meliputi gerakan melompat, melempar, berjalan, meloncat maupun senam. Perkembangan motorik kasar dapat dirangsang melalui proses pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani dengan model-model permainan gerak, salah satunya yaitu perkembangan motorik kasar. Hasil penelitian tentang analisis perkembangan motorik kasar anak usia dini melalui senam irama di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 2 Aimas dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa kegiatan senam irama dapat meningkatkan perkembangan motorik kasar anak di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 2 Aimas.

Early childhood education is a level of education which is a coaching effort aimed at children from birth to 6 years of age. Gross motor skills are movement skills that use large muscles, this aims to stimulate movement speed. Gross motor skills include jumping, throwing, walking, skipping and gymnastics movements. Gross motor development can be stimulated through the physical education learning process with movement game models, one of which is gross motor development. From the results of research on the analysis of gross motoric development of young children through rhythmic gymnastics at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 2 Aimas Kindergarten, it can be concluded that rhythmic gymnastics activities can improve children's gross motoric development at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 2 Aimas Kindergarten.

Get PDFPenerapan Permainan Tradisional Gici-gici dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Motorik Kasar pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun di TK Oikumene Kabupaten Sorong. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan permainan tradisional gici-gici dalam meningkatkan motorik kasar pada anak usia 5-6 Tahun di TK Oikumene Kabupaten Sorong Provinsi Papua Barat Daya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Tehnik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah. Reduksi data, Penyajian data dan Penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 15 anak, terdapat 13 anak pada kategori berkembang sangat baik 1 orang anak pada kategori mulai berkembang, 1 orang yang masih dalam kategori belum berkembang motorik kasarnya karena dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain, seperti kehadiran dalam aktivitas belajar rendah. dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan permainan tradisional gici-gici dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar pada anak di TK Oikumene berkembang sangat baik

Research on the use of medicinal plants in various communities (cross-cultural studies) can be used to find drugs and bioactive compounds.
