    HARMONISASI SAINS DAN ALQURAN: INTEGRASI PENGETAHUAN ASTRONO-MI DENGAN INTERPRETASI AL-QUR'AN TENTANG BINTANG

    This study proposes an integration between science, specifically modern astronomy, and Qur'anic exegesis, aiming to bridge scientific understanding with spiritual values, particularly in the context of celestial phenomena. While stars in the Qur'an are often interpreted as symbols of God's power, scientific approaches to stellar phenomena frequently overlook this spiritual dimension. The research identifies a gap between modern astronomical knowledge and existing Qur'anic interpretations, and proposes an integrative approach that connects these two disciplines. Using a descriptive qualitative method and thematic exegesis analysis, the study demonstrates that Qur'anic verses about stars can be more deeply understood when enriched with modern scientific findings. The results reveal that this integrative approach not only enhances scientific comprehension but also deepens spiritual insight, fostering harmony between science and religion, and contributing to an educational paradigm that values both domain

    INNOVATIVE TEACHING PRACTICES IN ISLAMIC EDUCATION: EXEMPLIFYING PROCEDURE TEXTS IN ENGLISH CLASSROOMS

    This study explores the implementation of exemplification-based teaching practices in Islamic educational settings, specifically in teaching procedural texts in English classes. Recent developments in Islamic education show a shift from passive, memorization-based learning to active, contextual, and value-integrated instruction. One such innovation is the use of real-life demonstrations, such as how to perform wudu, wear a mukena, or make food, to teach procedural texts. These practices not only enhance linguistic comprehension but also promote student engagement by connecting learning materials to students’ daily religious experiences. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and a single case study at SMA Darussalam, an Islamic boarding school in Banyuwangi, data were collected through classroom observation and semi-structured interviews with one English teacher. The findings reveal that exemplification strategies significantly improve students’ understanding of procedural text structure, vocabulary acquisition, and speaking confidence. Moreover, the integration of Islamic values through contextual examples strengthens students’ religious identity while learning English. The novelty of this study lies in its emphasis on how teachers in Islamic schools apply direct demonstrations linked with religious content, creating a holistic learning environment. Unlike previous research, this study highlights how teachers act as facilitators who bridge linguistic goals with moral and spiritual development. This strategy aligns with Vygotsky’s theory of Constructivism and Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), confirming that meaningful learning occurs when students can relate new knowledge to familiar experiences. In conclusion, the exemplification approach offers a transformative teaching model for English instruction in Islamic schools. It provides a practical and culturally relevant solution that supports 21st-century skills while preserving students' spiritual values and cultural identity

    The training program on processing tilapia into fish meatballs and its variation (pentol mercon) in Pulau Pedalaman Village, Mempawah Regency, was a collaboration between the KKM-PKM team of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Tanjungpura, and the official village program entitled Youth Empowerment in Developing Fisheries Innovation. This program aimed to enhance technical skills, creativity, and entrepreneurial motivation among local housewives, young women, and youth by utilizing local fishery potential. The implementation method used a Community Development (CD) approach with stages including preparation, field observation, demonstration-based training, and evaluation. The core participants consisted of 10 people who actively participated in the full practice session, supported by the involvement of youth and village officials. The results showed that all participants were able to apply the fish meatball making techniques, and new product ideas and simple marketing plans emerged. This activity contributed to improving community skills and utilizing tilapia as a home-based business opportunity

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa di Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada proses internalisasi nilai aqidah, akhlak, dan ibadah dalam membentuk perilaku disiplin siswa, serta strategi pembinaan kedisiplinan yang diterapkan oleh guru dan pihak sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam, pembiasaan kegiatan keagamaan, dan keteladanan guru. Strategi pembinaan disiplin dilakukan melalui pendekatan persuasif dan humanis, seperti pemberian penghargaan, penguatan positif, pengingat aturan, pembinaan personal, dan penerapan konsekuensi edukatif. Pendekatan ini sejalan dengan teori social learning Bandura tentang model perilaku dan teori reinforcement Skinner yang menekankan pentingnya penguatan positif. Implementasi nilai pendidikan Islam terbukti efektif membentuk kedisiplinan siswa dalam hal ketepatan waktu, ketaatan terhadap tata tertib, tanggung jawab belajar, dan keteraturan dalam menjalankan ibadah

    This study aims to describe the leadership role of madrasah principals in encouraging technology-based educational innovation. And to describe what strategies are used by madrasah principals in utilizing technology to improve the quality of education. Qualitative methods mean researching on natural object conditions. To obtain accurate results, this method is used to collect information. The instrument used in this study is snowball informant selection, the technique of collecting information sources that initially few cannot produce complete data, so we look for other people who can be used as sources of information. The analysis used in this study is data reduction and data presentation. The results of the study show that madrasah principals act as initiators of learning digitalization programs. This includes innovations implemented in madrasahs, namely the use of platforms such as Google Classroom, Madrasah e-learning, Madrasah SIM Dashboard, and using videos in learning methods, as well as online evaluation. Madrasah principals not only play a structural role, but also provide examples in the use of technology, both in management and academic supervision. This strategy not only demonstrates the madrasah principal's commitment to developing educational innovation but also reflects systematic, participatory, and adaptive planning for the dynamics of 21st-century education

    This education aims to analyse the effect of the Guided Inquiry learning model on the understanding of science concepts of seventh grade students of MTs Al-Khairaat Biromaru. This education has an important role in shaping individuals who are intelligent, characterised, and able to compete in the 21st century era. One of the important skills that need to be developed is science literacy, which not only includes an understanding of scientific concepts but also the ability to think critically and reason in a social context. In the context of science learning at the junior high school level, students' understanding of science concepts is still relatively low, as found in class VII of Mts Al-Khairaat Biromaru. This problem is thought to be related to ineffective learning methods. For this reason, this study aims to determine the effect of the guided inquiry learning model on students' understanding of science concepts. The guided inquiry model involves students actively in the problem-solving process with the support of leading questions from the teacher. This research is expected to contribute to improving the quality of science learning and become a reference for educators in choosing the right method. This research uses a quantitative approach, data collection techniques through observation and tests. The data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the Guided Inquiry learning model at Mts Al-Khairaat Biromaru affects the understanding of science concepts of seventh grade students. The Guided Inquiry learning model is very influential marked by the results of the t test, namely with a significant value of p (0.001) < ? (0.05). This means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted which means that there is an effect of guided inquiry learning model on the understanding of science concepts of class VII students of MTs Al-Khairaat Biromaru

    EFEKTIVITAS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TERHADAP MOTIVASI DAN PEMAHAMAN SISWA PADA MATERI USAHA DAN ENERGI

    This study aims to describe the learning model implemented by the eighth-grade science teacher at SMPN 2 Jember for the topic of Work and Energy and to evaluate its effect on students’ motivation and understanding. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with the researcher as the primary instrument, supported by interview guidelines and questionnaires. The subjects were one science teacher and 39 eighth-grade students. Data were collected through structured interviews with the teacher and a 4-point Likert scale questionnaire containing six items on motivation and four items on understanding. Data analysis was conducted descriptively using frequency counts and percentages. Interviews indicated that the teacher applied a cooperative learning model to enhance collaboration, interaction, and students’ social skills. Questionnaire results showed most students had positive motivation, with 42.31% Strongly Agree (SS) and 55.98% Agree (S), while 1.71% were Disagree (TS) and 0% Strongly Disagree (STS). Understanding responses were 43.59% Agree (SS), 46.79% While (S), 8.97% Disagree (TS), and 0.64% Strongly Disagree (STS). Findings confirm that cooperative learning improves engagement, enthusiasm, and understanding. This model provides an interactive and enjoyable learning experience, encouraging students to discuss and collaborate actively. Results are valuable for teachers in designing effective strategies and as a reference for further research on learning models effects on motivation and understanding

    This study aims to describe the strategic role of youth in transforming the 10th Ashura celebration into an educational and applicable medium for social da'wah. This event is not only interpreted as an annual religious ritual, but also as a collaborative space to convey the values ??of care, social solidarity, and Islamic education to the community, especially orphans. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method located in Siliragung, Banyuwangi. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and visual documentation. The results indicate that youth play a significant role in managing the technical aspects of the event, producing digital da'wah content, and building effective public communication. Collaboration with religious scholars strengthens the substance of Islamic values ??within the event, while the involvement of orphans and the wider community creates a positive social impact. The contribution of this research lies in strengthening the participatory da'wah model that integrates an educational approach, digital media, and the strengthening of intergenerational values ??in a local context relevant to contemporary da'wah challenges

    This study investigates the role of Islamic preaching in mitigating the psychological impact experienced by students from broken home backgrounds at Mamba’ul Huda Islamic Boarding School, Sumberurip. Students from such families often face emotional distress, including stress, anxiety, feelings of rejection, and low self-worth. In this context, dakwah is not limited to conveying religious teachings but also acts as a form of spiritual therapy to foster psychological resilience. The research adopted a qualitative approach through a case study method. Data were collected via in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving 20 students and pesantren administrators. The findings revealed that dakwah bil lisan (verbal preaching) and dakwah bil hal (preaching by example) significantly contributed to creating a supportive atmosphere, improving self-perception, and building inner strength among students. In conclusion, empathetic and sustained dakwah proved effective in supporting the psychological recovery of students from broken homes. The study recommends reinforcing dakwah through humanistic and Islamic psychotherapeutic approaches within Islamic boarding schools to promote student mental well-being

    This study aims to analyze the role of visionary leadership in shaping an organizational culture that fosters a collaborative and innovative learning environment at SMK Darussalam. The research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method, as the phenomena of leadership and organizational culture require an in-depth understanding through participants’ interpretations in the field. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with the main informants including the principal, vice principal for curriculum, teachers, and students selected purposively. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, display, and verification using content, discourse, and interpretive analysis. The findings reveal that visionary leadership acts as the driving force behind the creation of an organizational culture oriented toward collaboration, innovation, and adaptation to changing times. The principal plays a key role in formulating a long-term vision that cultivates creativity among school members, while a strong organizational culture serves as the foundation for a dynamic and competitive learning environment. The contribution of this study lies in reinforcing the paradigm that synergy between visionary leadership and a positive organizational culture can serve as a model for 21st-century school development that is collaborative, innovative, and character-driven
