Religious experience through spiritual activities such as tawassul and teacher motivation based on religious values. Knowledge through the integration of science and religion, including in the princess program. Moral consequences through the 5S culture, teacher respect, and the SASIS (Sambut Salam Siswa) program. The integration model of religiosity and education based on national education standards (SNP) PP. No. 4 of 2022 is the novelty of this research. MTs Badrussalam Indonesia offers a comprehensive approach that balances students' academic achievement with the formation of their religious character. This model can serve as a prototype of religious character-based education that is relevant to be implemented in similar educational institutions

During this critical period, institutional support from pesantren administrators becomes vital. The musyrifah—female santri mentors assigned to accompany new santri—play a crucial role in facilitating a smooth adaptation process. This study aims to examine the psychological readiness of musyrifah in supporting new santri during their initial year. The participants consisted of 54 female musyrifah tasked with mentoring incoming santri. Data were collected through face-to-face interviews focusing on the musyrifah's preparedness to fulfill their mentoring responsibilities. The findings indicate that the musyrifah possess a high level of psychological readiness, encompassing five key dimensions: cognitive readiness, emotional readiness, moral readiness, behavioral readiness, and exemplary conduct. PSYCHOLOGY OF FOOD SECURITY: STRATEGIES TO OVERCOME FOOD INSECURITY AND ITS IMPACT ON MENTAL HEALTH

Unstable food security can cause serious psychological impacts such as anxiety and stress, which affect people's mental health. This study aims to examine how food security affects individuals' psychological conditions and coping strategies used in dealing with food uncertainty. A qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach was used, involving in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of participants experiencing food uncertainty. The results showed that food uncertainty triggers anxiety and stress, but individuals develop adaptive coping strategies such as food diversification and social support to reduce psychological stress. In addition, the use of an interactive approach in education has been shown to be effective in reducing anxiety and increasing motivation. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating psychological aspects in food security programs to improve the mental and physical well-being of the community as a whole

    No full text
The development of digital technology has influenced children’s learning patterns and information consumption, including within non-formal religious education settings such as Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPQ). Although digital media have the potential to serve as educational tools, risks such as exposure to inappropriate content, excessive gadget use, and declining learning focus necessitate structured and targeted mentoring. This community service activity aims to enhance TPQ students’ media literacy and to strengthen teachers’ capacity to utilize media as educational resources through an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The program was implemented at TPQ Baitul Halim Babatan Wiyung, Surabaya, involving approximately 30 students and three teachers. The stages of the activity included community asset mapping (discovery), formulation of shared aspirations (dream), design of mentoring modules and training programs (design), implementation of media literacy education for students and technical guidance for teachers (define/destiny), and program evaluation through reflective activities (reflection). The results indicate an improvement in students’ understanding of ethical media use, their ability to identify educational and safe content, and the emergence of basic critical attitudes toward digital information. TPQ teachers (Ustadz and Ustadzah) also demonstrated enhanced competence in selecting and integrating educational media into the learning process. This program contributes to the establishment of a positive, character-based media literacy culture grounded in Islamic values within the TPQ environment and has the potential to be developed as a sustainable mentoring model in non-formal education

PENGARUH MIND MAPPING DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SNOWBALL THROWING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI PADA MATERI SISTEM GERAK DI SMA NEGERI 2 TARUNA BHAYANGKARA

    No full text
Improvements in student learning outcomes are highly dependent on the learning strategies used by teachers in the classroom. Conventional, teacher-centered learning methods often result in students being less active and having difficulty understanding the material, especially in biology, which contains many abstract concepts. One solution to overcome this is to combine mind mapping and the Snowball Throwing learning model. Mind mapping helps students summarize and organize information visually, thereby facilitating concept understanding. Meanwhile, Snowball Throwing encourages students to actively participate through question and answer sessions and enjoyable group discussions. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of mind mapping with the Snowball Throwing learning model on biology learning outcomes in the movement system material at Taruna Bhayangkara 2 Public High School. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of mind mapping with the Snowball Throwing learning model has a positive and significant effect on students' biology learning outcomes in the movement system material

    No full text
This study aims to determine students’ perceptions of peer feedback in mathematics learning. The method used is quantitative descriptive, with data collection through a Likert scale questionnaire. The research participants consisted of 20 students randomly selected at several universities in Banten. The results showed that most students had a positive perception of peer feedback. High percentages of agreement were seen in the aspects of usefulness 82%, effectiveness 82%, its impact on understanding 81,25%, and mastery of mathematics material 82,5%. Lecturer support was also considered necessary 77,5% in facilitating feedback. However, 60% of students admitted to experiencing challenges in giving and receiving feedback, mainly due to awkwardness or uncertainty. The findings confirm that peer feedback increases activeness, collaboration, and understanding of mathematical concepts. Therefore, it is necessary to implement peer feedback that is structured and actively supported by lecturers, accompanied by adequate training and effective use of technology so that this practice can run more optimally
