No full textThis program is from the August 19, 1909 laying of the cornerstone for Toledo, Ohio's post office building. The event included performances from the Police Band and the Post-office Quartette. The Old Central Post Office housed the United States Postal Service until the 1970s, when the Jefferson Center Vocational Rehabilitation School moved in, in 1972. The school remained open until 2000 when it was closed and the Head Start program moved in. In partnership with Bitwise Industries, ProMedica Health Systems purchased the building in 2019
