The Firelands is an area near Lake Erie in Ohio, located in present day Huron, Erie, Ottawa, and Ashland counties. The Indigenous peoples living in the area were the Myaamia (Miami), Anishinaabe (Odawa / Ottawa), and Wandat (Wyandotte)
