Surveys were performed to gather information from ODOT and other DOTs on bridge inspection technologies that have been used in the field. Additionally, a market survey was conducted to determine companies and technologies available to perform automated crack detection. Quotes were acquired for the Jeremiah Morrow Bridge in order to compare costs and understand the different cost structures. Ease of use of the software was also considered. Ultimately, a matrix of options was developed and recommendations were made for the most accurate and cost-effective technology to be used by ODOT inspection personnel
