Designing and Evaluation of Washing Machine Base Stand Using Quality Function Deployment and Ergo-Fellow
Currently, many of the discomforts that washing machine users experience in the back, hands, and shoulders are caused by the wrong way of the static and/or dynamic body positions as they bend to the level of the machine, move clothes, and return to the moderation stand. Data was collected through surveys and interviews to explore the common problems with washing machines and whether they comply with the current safety and ergonomic requirements. Data analysis showed that most of the available washing machine bases were not made according to ergonomic considerations as users experienced different discomforts in the shoulders and lower part of the spine. This paper introduces an improved ergonomic design for a washing machine base stand based on customers' needs and integrates customers’ requirements and desires with the new product using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) technique. The proposed design of the Flexible Washing Machine Base Stand (FWMS) has been developed to make the washing process safer and help users work more comfortably, efficiently, and effectively. The research methodology includes three research tasks: Firstly, a 3-D model for evaluating and improving the ergonomics quality of the comprehensive conceptual design drawings was formed using computer-aided design (CAD) to minimize modification time and to allow for flexible editing of the initial design. Secondly, analysis was conducted using the Ergo-Fellow software tool to obtain anthropometric data for ergonomic ends and to evaluate and improve workplaces. Thirdly, a rapid prototype (RP) was developed to analyze the conceptual perception of FWMS features and assess its functionality. The prototype of the FWMS concept design was fabricated by a 3D printing machine using Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) technology. Lean-Based Design and Analysis of a Continuous Improvement Engineering Approach for Jordanian Land Transport Industry
For an open, competitive, and lean economy, especially in industrialized development nations like Jordan, competitiveness, efficiency, and low global transportation costs are crucial. It is vital to address these concerns to sustain lean transportation services. This paper intends to present a lean-based analysis of a continuous improvement approach for Jordanian land transport industry, the aim behind that is to improve the overall effectiveness of the Jordanian land transportation sector. The research uses the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) as a lean tool to fill the knowledge gap between theory and practice and to shed light on the continual improvements of Jordan's land transportation sector. Five of the largest land transportation companies have provided data, which has been gathered using primary and secondary data sources. Managers, drivers, and operations officers are polled using a 65-question Five-Point-Likert survey. The research looks at how the cost of transportation, customer satisfaction, safety, management emphasis, travel time, and driving abilities affect overall effectiveness. Operations, technical, and managerial efficiency are the metrics used to evaluate efficiency. Eight hypotheses between three efficiency measures and six independent variables are brought up. Correlations, tolerance tests, and Variance Inflation Factor (VIF) multicollinearity tests validate and confirm the findings. The research identifies significant barriers impeding the effectiveness of Jordan's land transportation industry and seeks to close the gap between theory and practice. Future research plans to investigate how other Jordanian service sectors measure their efficiency because the developed approach is useful and applicable
Pedagogical Support as an Improvement Strategy: A Bibliometric Review of The Literature in Scopus and Wos During 2018-2023
The objective of the present study was the analysis and quantification of the scientific literature by means of metrics in relation to the research consulted on pedagogical accompaniment as an improvement strategy, in the Scopus and WoS databases, in addition the period is delimited. Publication between 2018 and 2023. Based on a personalized bibliometric review methodology, where “pedagogical accompaniment” and “pedagogical accompaniment” were used as search words. Regarding the year with the greatest number of publications, it was 2022 (n=9); while the average number of citations per year the highest value was that of 2019; The keyword indicator showed that the most recurrent words in the study are: "pedagogical accompaniment", "teaching practice", "accompaniment of pupils' activities" and "professional development", the "Social Sciences Journals" and "Venezuelan Journal of Management" presented the largest scientific production related to the subject, each with 2 articles. Regarding the affiliation of the authors, in the Scopus articles it was the Central University of Ecuador (n=2); and in WoS the César Vallejo University/César Vallejo Private University (n=3); while the countries with the highest scientific production were Chile and Peru, each with 3 articles in the WoS database; The most frequent language of publication of the articles was English, both for Scopus and WoS, with 6 articles each; The thematic areas where the identified bibliography was located were three: arts and humanities, administration and business, and social sciences; Finally, the themes

Different Biological Activities Especially Antioxidant Activity of Plant Based Functional Foods for Human Health
In recent years, the interest in plant-based functional foods with various biological activities, especially antioxidant properties, has grown exponentially due to their potential health benefits. Antioxidants play a crucial role in neutralizing harmful free radicals, which are reactive molecules that can cause cellular damage and contribute to various chronic diseases. Natural antioxidants are abundant in food and medicinal plants. These natural antioxidants, particularly polyphenols and carotenoids, have a variety of biological benefits, including anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, anti-atherosclerosis, and anticancer properties (Xu et al ., 2017). Fruits and vegetables are excellent sources of antioxidants because they contain a variety of antioxidant components. Fruits and vegetables have varying levels of antioxidant activity. Each fruit and vegetable contains a distinct type of antioxidant, and this might vary from species to species as well as climate to climate (Ravimannan et al ., 2017). The paper discusses the underlying principles of oxidative stress and the mechanisms by which antioxidants counteract its effects (Fang et al ., 2002). It delves into the various classes of antioxidants found in plant-based foods, such as polyphenols, carotenoids, flavonoids, vitamins (e.g., vitamin C and E), and trace minerals (e.g., selenium and zinc), explaining their diverse roles in protecting cells from oxidative damage (Peng et al., 2014). In this chapter we emphasize the vital role of plant-based functional foods as a source of natural antioxidants, contributing to the promotion of human health and well-being. Incorporating a diverse array of antioxidant-rich plant foods into the daily diet is crucial for supporting overall health and preventing chronic diseases
Community-Based Payment for Forest Environmental Services: A Study in Vietnam
The implementation of the Payment for Forest Environmental Services (PFES) strategy is increasingly being adopted through community-based initiatives globally. Nonetheless, the comprehension of such community-based PFES remains considerably limited. This investigation delves into the community-based PFES, scrutinizing the impact of local community involvement in PFES financial management mechanisms on the efficacy of this policy at the community level. Conducted in Dien Bien province, Vietnam, this study employed Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) techniques alongside household surveys. The findings indicate that the community-based PFES is operational with efficacy. It engenders motivation and fosters communal engagement in concerted forest conservation endeavors. Moreover, the pillars of self-administration, equitable distribution of benefits, and robust oversight are pivotal in determining the triumph of this policy approach

Dielectric, Magnetic and Surface Analytical Study of Dy and Tb Doped (Bi, Pb)(Fe,Ti)O3 Multiferroic Ceramics
Polycrystalline samples of Bi0.8A0.1Pb0.1Fe0.9Ti0.1O3(where A = Dy and Tb) ceramics have been prepared through high temperature sintering technique. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the ceramics possess perovskite phase with hexagonal crystal symmetry. Dielectric and electrical properties indicate that the Curie temperature shifted to higher temperature with Dy doping. AC conductivity of the sample increases with increase in temperature which confirms the negative temperature coefficient of resistance (NTCR) behaviour of material. Substitution of Dy and Tb ions at A-site suppress the spiral spin structure of BiFeO3 which is further responsible for the appearance of weak ferromagnetism atroom-temperature.Induced destruction of the spin cycloid due to the Dy and Tb substitution, these multiferroic properties are attributed because of the enhanced magneto-electric interaction
