Biofuel Production from Rubber Seeds by Pyrolysis Method using Natural Zeolite Catalyst
Rubber seed is rubber plant waste that has the potential as a source of bioenergy. Rubber seed contains 40-50% oil, and rubber seed shell contains lignocellulose (cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin). Rubber and rubber seed shells can be converted into biofuel through the Pyrolysis Process. Pyrolysis is biomass decomposition with heat assistance without oxygen at 250oC-600oC. This research aimed to analyze the characteristics of biofuel products. This research was conducted using a pyrolysis reactor by controlling the temperature at 250oC, 300oC, 350oC, 400oC, and 450oC. The characteristics of biofuel produced in this study include density (1.0646 gr/ml), viscosity (5.417 mm2/s), flash point (88ºC), moisture content (30.4%), calorific value (7451.3997 Cal/g), and cetane number (32.9). Based on the results of biofuel analysis using GC-MS, the C atom chain was dominated by C5-C15 compounds at 44.41%.
Czech Student´s Interest in Studying Abroad and Non-European Mobility
The publication is focused on the evaluation of the interest and experiences of students of the Faculty of Economics and Management of students from the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague (CULS) with international mobility during their studies. The publication evaluates the current development of the number of incoming and outgoing students within the Erasmus+ program and in study programs outside Europe in the years 2008-2019. Based on time series models, the expected development of indicators in the following years were predicted. In the interpretation of the results, factors related to the global epidemiological situation in 2020 and 2021 are taken into account. The solution uses the results of a questionnaire survey carried among outgoing students of the Faculty of Economics and Management. The survey showed that students perceive international mobility as a unique benefit that will make it easier for them to find adequate employment in the labor market in the future. International mobility is highly valued for improving language skills, learning about new cultures and creating foreign social ties
Challenges of Distance Learning in the Context of Music Studies: the Case of Lithuania
The paper presents some of the data from an empirical study conducted at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre during the COVID-19 pandemic. The participants of the study - first and second cycle students of different specialisations (N=135) from the Music faculty of LAMT - revealed their experiences during the global distance learning that replaced contact studies. The chosen object of the study - the challenges of distance learning in terms of students' experience - allowed to explore and summarise the advantages and disadvantages of distance music studies, as well as to assess the students' emotional well-being during COVID – 19 pandemic. The questionnaire survey showed that the absolute majority of the participants experienced a clear predominance of anxiety and stressful situations during distance learning, and that their motivation to learn dropped significantly during the pandemic. The respondents' answers to open-ended questions, analysed by qualitative content analysis, revealed that studying only at a distance distorts the fundamental idea of music studies - to create and learn from a natural and authentic environment. However, according to the participants, distance learning can also have positive aspects if it is used only in group and non-musicianship/non-musical activities, or if it is combined with contact learning
The Effect of Ergonomic Batik Chairs on Musculoskeletal Disorders Among Traditional Batik Makers
In the traditional batik industry, batik makers typically use a small chair known as a "dingklik," which is not ergonomically designed. This often leads to poor posture and discomfort during work. The objective of this study was to develop a chair specifically tailored to the anthropometric measurements of batik makers, ensuring an ergonomic working position. The benefits of this ergonomic chair were assessed by evaluating musculoskeletal disorder scores. This research is categorized as quasi-experimental and involves 60 participants, comprising 30 individuals in the experimental group (using the newly designed chairs) and 30 in the control group (using traditional chairs). Statistical analyses included Paired Samples T-Test, Independent Samples T-Test, and Analysis of Covariance, with a significance level of (?) = 0.05. There were significant differences in musculoskeletal disorders before and after using the customized chair design (p = 0.000). Confounding variables such as age (p = 0.689), years of service (p = 0.407), and body mass index (p = 0.187) did not significantly impact the observed differences in musculoskeletal disorders. In conclusion, ergonomic chairs prove beneficial in reducing musculoskeletal disorders among traditional batik industry workers
Alcaftadine 0.25% Vs Olapatadine 0.2% Ophthalmic Solutions in Allergic Conjunctivitis: A Study in a Clinical Setting in South India
Objective: Although allergic conjunctivitis seldom causes visual impairment, it holds significance due to its frequency and severity. This study was carried out to compare the safety and efficacy of Alcaftadine 0.25% and Olapatadine 0.2% ophthalmic solutions in treating the symptoms and signs of allergic conjunctivitis as there is not much literature comparing these two drugs directly. Materials and methods: This is a prospective, observer masked study of 80 patients with allergic conjunctivitis assigned to two groups-Group I: 40 patients received Alcaftadine 0.25% and Group II:40 patients received Olapatadine 0.2% ophthalmic solution and relief of symptoms were noted and assessed with a follow at 1 week and 1 month. Results: Eyes treated with Alcaftadine 0.25% had significantly low mean itch score of 0.6 compared to Olapatadine 0.2% ophthalmic solution which was 1. Eyes treated with both Alcaftadine 0.25% and Olapatadine 0.2% ophthalmic solutions reduced lid swelling, redness and discharge; safe and no serious adverse effects were encountered. Conclusion: BothAlcaftadine 0.25% and Olapatadine 0.2% ophthalmic solutions used in the study are safe and effective in treating the symptoms and signs of Allergic conjunctivitis. However, Alcaftadine 0.25% ophthalmic solution is comparatively more efficacious

The Relationship between the Colour of Packaging Materials on Consumer Purchase Intention and Confidence
The role of packaging is significant in the marketing of products and services within various competitive environments. Effective packaging has the potential to enhance product sales, minimise inventory levels, and ultimately contribute to greater profitability. This paper examines the correlation between an effective packaging initiatives and consumers’ confidence and their inclination to purchase goods and services. The qualitative research were adopted and the data were obtained through comprehensive interviews with twelve participants who willingly participated in the research. The following criteria for the participants were selected based on their purchase frequency at groceries shopping, and belonging to diverse categories in terms of gender, race, socioeconomic status, and family background. The data analysed using thematic analysis with NVIVO software. The research findings were classified into four different categories in order to address the research objectives. The findings suggest that a well-designed label comprising extensive and precise product information can have a significant impact on consumer confidence. On the other hand, other visible information appears to have an insignificant effect on consumer confidence. Finally, this paper carries out a comprehensive analysis of the implications from the findings and propose different possibilities for further research

Systemic Functional Linguistic Approach to Language Policy-Problems in Sri Lanka: From Colonialism to Post-war Reconciliation
There is a vast body of literature on Language Policy (LP) produced during the last six decades in the newly independent countries from colonial subjugation. Language policy as an umbrella term penetrates several other areas. The present study has been confined to the problems of language status planning in Sri Lanka. This research was conducted to scrutinise LP-relevant problems in the light of Systemic Functional Linguistic (SFL) theory and give a fresh insight into the existing problems based on the SFL approach for Sri Lankan LP ecology. The study is mostly a qualitative study that hardly utilises quantitative data. Apart from the secondary data sources, in-depth interviews were used as an interactive data collection instrument. Almost all the analyses are thematic apart from very few other types of analyses such as content analysis. Among the significant findings of this study, suppression of vernaculars during the colonial language status planning efforts and building up the feeling of superiority and inferiority based on language status planning are identified. This situation has further been established by pitching it to growthism and classism. The present study has also recognised bundles of LP-relevant real-world problems that occurred due to LP adoptions in and around LP practices. At the macro level, the lack of human, financial and material resources, violation of official language policy, the poor language proficiency of public officers, the gap between policies and implementation, lack of official language policy awareness, and legislative and machinery issues were identified. Among the other major problems, polarising linguistic communities, marginalising tiny language communities, lack of language skills of public officers, lack of officers to implement the LP, insufficient training given to the public service, lack of physical resources, resourcing LP implementing bodies poorly, and receiving public service merely in majority’s language in some places are influential findings. Several rank scales and system networks of the LP practices within the new model have been introduced to better reflect the problems systemically with some other exploratory tools. Significantly, the present study has yielded a new model which is called Cyclical Functional Model for LP in Sri Lanka. The researcher has given an entirely new insight into Sri Lankan LP ecology based on SFL. The appliable possibility that was introduced by M. A. K. Halliday to expand the SFL theory as a holistic model was the justification of this theoretical expansion. The researcher has also been able to demonstrate a causal relationship among the factors/entities from socio-political background to immediate factors involved in language policy-making, and from the language policy itself to the current social problems. The current study further concludes that the country started with some critical monolingual language policy discourse, and has moved to a fertile situation where the languages are considered as resources in principle in its orientation, nonetheless still they appear as written policies that are yet to seek practical realisations to stabilise this language ecology of the country
Ethical-Attitudinal Profile of Future Peruvian Educators in New Normality
To determine the ethical-attitudinal profile of university students in the education career during the pandemic with a tendency towards a new normality. University students of the education career were surveyed online, in an ethical key (axiological attitude, moral attitude and attitude towards new normality). The research was descriptive of univariate hypothesis, with non-probabilistic snowball sampling, reaching a sample of 480 participants. The Ethical-Attitudinal Profile Scale (EPEA) was designed, whose reliability was 0.93 in Lawshe's formula and 0.89 in Cronbach's Alpha. In the axiological attitude, values were obtained more frequently: respect with 79%, sincerity with 73%, prudence with 72%. In the moral attitude, a polar result is contrasted between laxity (67%) and kindness (45%); while, in the attitude towards new normality, there was no spike in frequencies, being distributed more homogeneously between indicators, with a low resilience index. There is an adequate evaluative profile of the university students of the education career despite the context of the pandemic and the trend towards a new normality; having a moral attitude of laxity inferred by the circumstances of uncertainty that are experienced in adverse contexts.
