El Centro de Interpretación del Centro Histórico de Lima. Alcances y proyección
Get PDFWith the objective of knowing the situation of the Interpretation Center of the Historical Center of Lima, its context, problems and perspectives, a research was conducted in which 32 people were interviewed and a SWOT analysis based on daily experience and review of internal documents was carried out. This allowed gathering valuable information on the public perception of the Historical Center of Lima (CHL), its limitations, the opportunities and perspectives to improve the management of the Interpretation Center of the Historical Center of Lima and the fulfillment of its objectives, one of which is to reinforce the cultural identity of the population. Some of the recommendations, based on the results, are the presentation in english of the museum scripts, the improvement of the signage, the establishment of a fixed service schedule and the dissemination through social networks on their own platformCon el objetivo de conocer la situación del Centro de Interpretación del Centro Histórico de Lima, su contexto, problemas y perspectivas, se realizó una investigación en la que se entrevistó a 32 personas y se efectuó un análisis FODA basado en la experiencia cotidiana y la revisión de documentos internos. Ello permitió recoger valiosa información sobre la percepción que tiene el público del Centro Histórico de Lima (CHL), sus limitaciones, las oportunidades y perspectivas para mejorar la gestión del Centro de Interpretación del Centro Histórico de Lima y el cumplimiento de sus objetivos, uno de los cuales es reforzar la identidad cultural de la población. Algunas de las recomendaciones, a partir de los resultados, son la presentación en inglés de los guiones museográficos, la mejora de la señalética, el establecimiento de un horario fijo de atención y la difusión por redes sociales en una plataforma propia

One of the hardest hit is tourism which, by its very nature, faces the difficult and unavoidable challenge of creating the conditions to ensure, as far as possible, the health of tourists, generating in them the confidence necessary for a gradual return to activity. This article addresses this issue from an analysis of the current situation of tourism in Peru, to a set of proposals for its reactivation, both at a general level and in certain key subsectors.La pandemia de la COVID-19 ha generado una crisis de escala global que ha impactado en todos los quehaceres de la humanidad. Uno de los más golpeados es el turismo que, por su propia naturaleza, se enfrenta al difícil e ineludible reto de crear las condiciones para asegurar, en la medida de lo posible, la salud de los turistas, generando en ellos la confianza necesaria para un paulatino retorno a la actividad. Interpretación patrimonial: gestión educativa y lúdica para la valoración del legado natural y cultural del Parque La Alameda.

La Alameda Park is the oldest park in the city of Quito; it is part of the heritage protection area that has a variety of tangible and intangible natural and cultural attractions of heritage and emblematic categorization that are part of the identity of the Quiteño. However, the scarce information and recreational-educational activities related to its attractions have turned it into a park of passage. For this reason, the design of an interpretive program with recreational-educational activities is a management tool for the valuation and conservation of the place and the dissemination of cultural tourism. In the process of collecting information, observation sheets and semi-structured interviews were used with focus groups made up of visitors, neighbors and key actors to establish the use, knowledge and importance of the attractions; in addition to establishing the profile of the potential visitor. Thus, through research and analysis, three potential attractions were identified (heritage trees, emblematic fauna and the history of the Alameda Park) and two interpretive activities (puppet shows and storytelling), which act as mediating tools between society and its heritage, awakening interest in knowing the natural and cultural environment in an innovative and creative way, as well as responding to the needs of visitors.El Parque La Alameda es el parque más antiguo de la ciudad de Quito; es parte del área de protección patrimonial que tiene una variedad de atractivos naturales y culturales tangibles e intangibles de categorización patrimonial y emblemática que forman parte de la identidad del quiteño. Sin embargo, la escasa información y actividades recreativas-educativas relacionadas con sus atractivos lo ha convertido en un parque de paso. Por ello, el diseño de un programa interpretativo con actividades recreativas-educativas es una herramienta de gestión para la valoración y conservación del lugar y de difusión del turismo cultural.
En el proceso de levantamiento de la información se utilizaron fichas de observación y entrevistas semiestructuradas realizadas a grupos focales integrados por visitantes, vecinos y actores clave para establecer el uso, conocimiento e importancia de los atractivos; además de establecer el perfil del potencial visitante. Es así que, mediante la investigación y el análisis, se determinaron tres potenciales atractivos (árboles patrimoniales, fauna emblemática e historia del Parque La Alameda) y dos actividades interpretativas (función de títeres e historieta narrativa), que actúan como herramientas mediadoras entre la sociedad y su patrimonio, despertando el interés por conocer el entorno natural y cultural de una manera innovadora y creativa, además de responder a las necesidades de los visitantes
Usabilidad de menús QR: atendiendo las recomendaciones frente al COVID-19
Get PDFThe usability of the QR codes is measured in a well-known cafeteria in the city of Puebla, Mexico, following the guidelines of the Government of Mexico which recommend the food and beverage sector to eliminate physical menus as they are considered a point of spread of COVID-19 and its replacement by digital menus distributed by QR codes.
The methodology in this research is that of a case study using a real environment. The ease of use of the menu by diners and employees of the establishment is measured. The results are oriented to the use of this technology as an option to reduce contact surfaces and at the same time it is novel for users; however, there are still gaps in terms of available peripherals and Internet speed.Se realiza la medición de la usabilidad de los códigos QR en una reconocida cafetería de la ciudad de Puebla, México. Siguiendo los lineamientos del Gobierno de México que recomiendan, al sector de alimentos y bebidas, la eliminación de menús físicos por considerarlos un punto de propagación del COVID-19 y su sustitución por menús digitales distribuidos por códigos QR.
La metodología en esta investigación es la de estudio de caso utilizando un entorno real. Se mide la facilidad de uso del menú por parte de los comensales y colaboradores del establecimiento. Los resultados se orientan al uso de esta tecnología como una opción para reducir superficies de contacto y al mismo tiempo resulta novedosa para los usuarios; sin embargo, existen aún brechas con respecto a los periféricos disponibles y a la velocidad de Internet

Get PDFThe Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, an element of the tangible historical heritage of Peru, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco, is undoubtedly one of the main tourist attractions in South America; which supports high tourist pressure, saturation problems and risk of impact on its conservation.
In the present work, an audit of the level of quality in the tourist management of the site is carried out using the Delphi method. The vision of two types of specialists is obtained: academic and professional, in the tourism sector, on measures to mitigate the situation described and thus propose guidelines that aim to improve tourism competitiveness. The points of view and proposals of university researchers and managers of tourism companies is relevant in relation to the future of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. The conclusions of the research, depending on the originality of its objectives and methodology, are of interest for the management of this world heritage site.El Santuario Histórico de Machu Picchu (SHM), elemento del patrimonio histórico material del Perú, declarado Patrimonio Mundial por la Unesco, es sin duda uno de los principales atractivos turísticos de Sudamérica; el cual, soporta una alta presión turística, problemas de saturación y riesgo de impacto en su conservación.
En el presente trabajo, se realiza una auditoría del nivel de calidad en la gestión turística del sitio utilizando el método Delphi. Se obtiene la visión de dos tipos de especialistas: académico y profesional en el sector turístico, sobre medidas para atenuar la situación descrita y así plantear lineamientos que tengan como fin mejorar la competitividad turística. Se requiere conocer los puntos de vista y propuestas de los investigadores universitarios y gestores de empresas turísticas con relación al futuro del SHM. Las conclusiones de la investigación, en función de la originalidad de sus objetivos y metodología, son de interés para la gestión de este patrimonio mundial
Los Baldecitos (San Juan, Argentina) como portal del Parque Provincial Ischigualasto (Patrimonio de la Humanidad): puesta en valor del patrimonio cultural tangible e intangible
Get PDFThe tourism potential is analyzed, in relation to the tangible and intangible cultural heritage, of Los Baldecitos locality, adjacent to the Ischigualasto Provincial Park. To do this, the points of interest were inventoried, aspects of the intangible heritage were rescued, information on the tourist acommodations and infrastructure was collected, an inquiry was made about the interest of tourists and residents for initiatives in the locality, and strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, strengths and threats were analyzed, considering the information obtained in the scenario of the current pandemic. Los Baldecitos has the resources to make an interesting offer. The challenges are related to the lack of maintenance of the points of interest, the lack of support from private and state organizations, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Ischigualasto Provincial Park is the most visited protected area in the province and with much promotion at the national level, but the «spillover effect» of the benefits does not reach Los Baldecitos. It is necessary that the residents make the decision to put projects in motion and that the benefits that emanate from the close relationship with the park and the new global trend towards the recovery of tourism through sustainability, are materialized with subsidies and technical support for the initiatives of the villagers.Se analiza el potencial turístico, con relación al patrimonio cultural tangible e intangible, de la localidad Los Baldecitos, aledaña al Parque Provincial Ischigualasto (PPI). Para ello, se inventariaron los puntos de interés; se rescataron aspectos del patrimonio intangible; se relevó información de la planta turística e infraestructura; se indagó acerca del interés de turistas y pobladores por iniciativas en la localidad; y se analizaron fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas, considerando la información obtenida en el escenario de la actual pandemia. Los Baldecitos cuenta con recursos para realizar una oferta interesante. Los desafíos están en relación con la falta de mantenimiento de los puntos de interés, la falta de soporte desde organizaciones privadas y estatales, y el impacto de la pandemia COVID-19. El PPI es el área protegida más visitada de la provincia y con mucha promoción a nivel nacional, pero el ‘efecto derrame’ de los beneficios no llega a Los Baldecitos. Es necesario que los pobladores tomen la decisión de poner en movimiento proyectos; que los beneficios que emanan de la estrecha relación con el parque y de la nueva tendencia mundial hacia la recuperación del turismo por medio de la sustentabilidad, se concreten con subsidios y soporte técnico para las iniciativas de los pobladores
Actividades estratégicas para fortalecer el sector turístico en la Heroica Ciudad de Huajuapan de León, Oaxaca
Get PDFUsually, a tourist destination can be defined as that place with natural and cultural resources of great beauty; however, although locally there is no endowment of natural factors favorable to tourism, such as in the Heroic City of Huajuapan de León, Oaxaca, as there are different types of tourism, it is possible that, through innovation, attractive activities for leisure purposes can be generated, in a tourist setting where the different expectations of the user are met. Based on a qualitative study, the main objective of this paper is to present a series of strategic actions that encourage the development of tourist activities that generate an attractive place, and therefore, the strengthening of the tourist sector of the aforementioned city, whose implementation depends on the collective work between the community, the business sector and the government.
Un destino turístico usualmente se puede definir como aquel lugar con riqueza natural de gran belleza; sin embargo, aunque localmente no se tenga una dotación de factores naturales favorable para el turismo como es el caso de la Heroica Ciudad de Huajuapan de León, Oaxaca, al existir diferentes modalidades de turismo, cabe la posibilidad de que, mediante la innovación, se desarrollen actividades atractivas con fines de esparcimiento en un marco turístico en el que se satisfagan las diversas expectativas del usuario. El pisco en la independencia del Perú
Get PDFBased on primary historical documents of Peru, the biography of Pisco between 1819 and 1826 is presented, a period that includes the years before and after the proclamation of national independence. In these documents are recorded the acts of management of the first rulers and public officials of the nascent republic, patriots of Argentine, Chilean, Colombian and Peruvian origin. It was these authorities who two centuries ago ratified that the origins of pisco are in Peru. The results of this research in historical documents also show the vitality of our this product, which dates back to the beginning of the 17th century.Sobre la base de documentos primarios de la historia del Perú se presenta la biografía del pisco entre 1819 y 1826, periodo que contempla los años previos y posteriores a la proclamación de la independencia nacional. En estos documentos están registrados los actos de gestión de los primeros gobernantes y funcionarios públicos de la naciente república, patriotas de procedencia argentina, chilena, colombiana y peruana. Fueron estas autoridades quienes hace dos siglos ratificaron la peruanidad del pisco. Los resultados de esta pesquisa en documentos históricos también permiten evidenciar la vitalidad de nuestro producto de bandera, cuya antigüedad se remonta a inicios del siglo XVII

The pottery tradition in Ichimay Wari, Lurín, Peru is analyzed and described, with the aim of proposing actions that allow its safeguarding; based on the research «Analysis of the impact of mass production on the ceramic tradition of the Ichimay Wari community, Lurín, 2018» (Cáceres, 2019). The results confirm the importance of maintaining the ceramic tradition as it is part of the intangible cultural heritage and at the same time, it is important as a symbol of cultural identity. Since ceramics is a cultural product, it is necessary to consider certain aspects that allow its commercialization, giving it the value it deserves in the market without neglecting its identity value and the importance of each of the pieces for the artisan.Se analiza y describe la realidad de la tradición ceramista en Ichimay Wari, Lurín, Perú, con el objetivo de proponer acciones que permitan salvaguardar su tradición ceramista; y teniendo como base la investigación Análisis del impacto de la producción masiva en la tradición ceramista de la comunidad Ichimay Wari, Lurín, 2018 (Cáceres, 2019). Los resultados permiten afirmar la importancia de mantener la tradición ceramista pues es parte del patrimonio cultural inmaterial y a la vez es importante como símbolo de identidad cultural.
