Affect regulation during the Covid19 pandemic. : A dream study about the lockdown.
The topic of dreams and trauma was analysed under the aspect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the basis of the Zurich Dream Processing Coding System jointly developed by Ulrich Mosern and Ilka von Zeppelin. By analysing the dream structure of a dream sequence from dreams collected as part of the Covid-19 research project, insights into affect regulation were to be gained. The regulation process within the dreams should provide information on whether the spread of an unknown virus and the associated lockdown have led to (re)traumatisation, whether this can be read from the dreams and whether the trauma has been dealt with in this way. For this purpose, the initial situation and the Zurich Dream Processing Coding System by Zeppelin and Moser were briefly described in order to be able to summarise the significance of the dreams with regard to trauma processing and treatment by analysing them according to the dream coding model
Dimensions of Religious/Spiritual Well-Being in the Context of Personality and Mental Health
Religiosity and spirituality, as an integral part of subjective well-being and mental health, have experienced increasing interest in recent decades, particularly in the Anglo-American world. Correspondingly, the Multidimensional Inventory of Religious/Spiritual Well-Being (MI-RSWB) has been developed in the European context in order to contribute to the further development of this field of research with a validated multidimensional measurement. In this paper, after an introduction to basic assumptions about the scale, recent developments (from 2012 to 2022) regarding the use of the MI-RSWB are presented. Norm values for the scale were presented and the questionnaire was validated in different languages. Furthermore, the positive relationship between the RSWB dimensions and mental health could be confirmed using data from different clinical and non-clinical samples. Based on this, the possibilities of further application of the instrument can be discussed

Do We Dwell Within the Call of Being by Virtue of Our Languages? An Oriental Understanding from the Occidental Daseinsanalytic Concepts
All the words, regardless of the languages they belong to, are nothing but arrows pointing to concepts to signify them. Concepts, whether recognized and signified in a particular language or not, could be considered signifiable possibilities onto which Dasein could project its Being. As signifiers from different languages, these words sometimes refer to the exact same concept, especially when it is concrete; however, some of the so-called equivalents, for instance “das Sein” in German and “being” in English, are not able to signify accurately the same concept. The Color Spectrum of Concepts, inspired by Wittgenstein, is suggested in this article as a model to reveal the recent misconceptualizations in the realm of Daseinsanalysis between German and English and to prevent further misunderstandings. Using the analogy of the specific zones of a color spectrum, various signifiers may be considered points on this spectrum. It is suggested that new terms (neologisms), and restructuring daseinsanalytic equivalents, could be effective methods to signify the same concept in the target language which is pointed to in the source language. All the words, regardless of the languages they belong to, are nothing but arrows pointing to concepts to signify them. Concepts, whether recognized and signified in a particular language or not, could be considered as signifiable possibilities that Dasein could project its Being onto them of its own accord. As signifiers coming from different languages, these words might sometimes refer precisely to the same concept especially when it is concrete; however some of the so-called equivalents, for instance "das Sein" in German and "being" in English, are not able to signify accurately the same concept. The Color Spectrum of Concepts, inspired by Wittgenstein, is developed in this article to reveal the recent misconceptualizations in the realm of daseinsanalysis between German and English and to promote the exchange of views on psychotherapy between various languages. Analogizing the specific zones of a color spectrum depicts concepts as topoi on a color spectrum and illustrates that how the gap in cross-linguistic understanding could be bridged. Ultimately it is illustrated that we dwell within the claim and call of Being by virtue of our languages through which we encounter whatever, we disclose ourselves or we may be called by ourselves from afar unto afar
Where Love Falls: On the Consistency of Repetition Compulsion in Partner Choice
This dissertation explores the transcendental-philosophical aspects of repetition compulsion in partner choice and its psychodynamic foundations. The central questions focus on understanding the inner psychological drive behind the repetition of old relationship patterns and identifying the experiences and insights that enable breaking these patterns. The research approach is qualitative, based on the methodology of qualitative social research, and includes semi-structured interviews. This work makes a significant contribution to understanding the complex relationship between early childhood attachment patterns, Oedipal conflicts, and partner choice in adulthood
