Introduction & Objective: Telemedicine has become a breakthrough solution for improving access to health care services. In Vietnam, telemedicine is a key national program developed by the Ministry of Health and the government. However, the implementation process encountered many challenges, and the number of successful businesses in this field is still limited. This study integrated the technology acceptance model and the extended valance framework to develop an efficient behavioral model for investigating the relationship between trust in provider, perceived ease of use, perceived benefit, and perceived risk on usage intention.
Methods: The proposed framework was verified through in-depth interviews with three experts in the Vietnamese health technology market and was tested by 246 participants via a web-based survey.
Results: Generally, the findings showed that perceived ease of use and perceived benefit positively and significantly affected usage intention, whereas perceived risk negatively and significantly influenced usage intention. Trust in the provider positively and significantly influenced usage intention and perceived benefit, but negatively influenced perceived risk (β = -0.677, p = 0.000). Perceived ease of use significantly and positively affected perceived benefit, whereas the effect of perceived ease of use on perceived risk was not statistically significant (p = 0.128).
Conclusion: The proposed hypothetical model offers empirical insights for healthcare professionals, service providers, and authorities. Moreover, it can serve as a theoretical basis for future researc

Developing A Framework for The Indian Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Risks Assessment through FMEA Approach
In the last years, specifically post Covid-19, pharmaceutical industry has gained a significant place in the healthcare domain. Pharmaceutical companies are the important players in the supply chain of drugs. With increasing competition, growing population and changing complexities of type of diseases, the need of pharmaceutical products has swelled over time, making the sector prone to supply chain risks. The purpose of this paper is to identify and access various risks in the pharmaceutical supply chain in the context of India. To attend this objective, a case of a major pharmaceutical company had been considered. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) has been used to identify and further prioritize these risks. Further Pareto analysis, also called as 80/20 rule, is conducted to identify the risks that are vital. The "80/20" rule suggested prioritizing 17 from 35 potential causes. Second level Pareto analysis identified 6 risk elements out of these 17 elements as most critical. Root cause assessment on these six risks is done through Five Why technique. The results of this study exhibited that Inventory Planning Issues, Labour Issues, Insufficient Storage Space, Raw Material Availability Issues, Inappropriate Forecasting, Communication Issues were the most critical issues in the pharmaceutical supply chain. The major cause to the eruption of these risks is improper Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP). This study suggests that the managers of the pharmaceutical supply chain should first understand the various risks in the supply chain that can disrupt the function. Further through prioritization of risks, the losses or the delays in the supply chain can be reduced
Neglected Voices: Uncovering the hidden consequences of air pollution on rural schoolchildren's health in Northern Thailand
Air pollution is a pressing global concern, with its consequences disproportionately impacting individuals in developing nations. This disparity in impact is especially pronounced among vulnerable groups, including women, children, and the elderly. This paper’s primary objective is to illuminate the often-neglected ramifications of air pollution on the well-being of rural schoolchildren in Northern Thailand. Despite their heightened susceptibility, this demographic remains marginalized in discussions concerning air quality. The study aims to underscore the significance of recognizing the schoolchildren’s heightened vulnerability to the adverse health effects stemming from air pollution, which is exacerbated by their critical developmental stage. The ensuing discussion comprehensively delves into the detrimental effects of pollution on the overall welfare and health of schoolchildren, thus accentuating the compounded socioeconomic disparities. By acknowledging and addressing the specific vulnerabilities of this demographic, policymakers and stakeholders can devise targeted interventions to safeguard their health and foster sustainable development

Enhancing Wellbeing in Emergency Department Allied Health Care Coordinators: A Multifaceted Intervention Approach: - ACHSM Asia-Pacific Health Leadership Congress in Brisbane 2024
This practice note outlines a structured, team-based intervention to address clinician burnout within a metropolitan Care Coordination team within one health organisation. This twelve-month project (April 2023–2024) was implemented in collaboration with Safer Care Victoria (SCV), utilising the Institute of Healthcare Improvement’s (IHI) Joy in Work (JIW) framework aiming to improve clinician wellbeing and burnout.
Strategies included a wellbeing survey adapted from the Mini Z survey, What Matters to You (WMTY) clinician interviews, and the impact-effort matrix prioritisation tool. This approach targeted burnout drivers and establish a sustainable framework for employee support by emphasising feedback, high-impact interventions, and resilience through collaboration.
Targeted interventions like reviewing orientation documents, team learning sessions, and updating clinical resources led to a decrease in the team’s mean Mini Z, scores of perceived burnout. Challenges during implementation highlighted the need for a toolkit to support this project in other settings where knowledge of quality improvement methodology may be limited. The initiative established a potential replicable model for addressing burnout, though its broader effectiveness remains under evaluation
