Analysis of Volleyball Extracurricular Service Skills:
Get PDFVolleyball is a recreational, interesting, and cost-effective team sport, played by two teams of six people each, and can be carried out indoors or outdoors. The main goal is to keep the ball moving through the net into the opponent's area. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with a survey approach and data collection techniques in the form of tests. This study does not examine the relationship between variables, but only focuses on one independent variable. The single variable in this study is volleyball serving skills, which is interpreted as the ability of students to serve consistently to support the achievement of game goals effectively and efficiently, so that this skill is an important indicator in assessing the mastery of basic techniques of volleyball among students. This study was conducted for 2 days with 10 repetitions of services for extracurricular students at SMPN 3 Batumandi. Based on the findings of the research on the upper service skills possessed by 12 students of SMPN 3 Batumandi, it is known that as many as 4 people (33%) showed ability in the good category with a score range between 21 to more than 41. A total of 6 people (50%) were in the sufficient category with a score range of 13 to 40, while 2 people (17%) were classified as in the poor category with a score range between 3 to 26. From the results of the distribution, it can be concluded that the majority of students who participated in volleyball extracurricular activities at SMPN 3 Batumandi had upper service skills in the sufficient category, which was 50% of the total participants studied
Kemampuan Literasi Numerasi Siswa dalam Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Ditinjau Dari Tipe Kepribadian David Keirsey
Get PDFKemampuan literasi numerasi memiliki peran penting bagi siswa untuk menguasainya. Berdasarkan perolehan PISA 2022 menunjukan bahwa di Indonesia rata-rata skor matematika siswa mengalami penurunan dibandingkan dengan tahun 2018 yaitu dari 379 menjadi 366. Penurunan tersebut, mengindikasikan bahwa indikator kemampuan literasi numerasi belum terpenuhi secara maksimal. Salah satu cara mengukur kemampuan literasi numerasi dapat menggunakan soal berbasis pemecahan masalah matematika. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa perlu adanya kajian mendalam tentang kemampuan literasi numerasi dalam pemecahan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan mengambarkan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika yang dilihat berdasarkan tipe kepribadian menurut David Keirsey. Penentuan subjek penelitian dengan menyebarkan angket penggolongan tipe kepribadian David Keirsey kepada siswa kelas X.9 SMA Negeri 2 Kotabumi. Pemberian soal tes kemampuan literasi numerasi dan wawancara kepada subjek yang terpilih. Analisis data dilakukan melalui langkah-langkah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa subjek dengan tipe kepribadian rational dapat memenuhi seluruh indikator kemampuan literasi numerasi, sedangkan subjek dengan tipe kepribadian guardian, artisan, dan idealist hanya dapat memenuhi dua indikator kemampuan literasi numerasi. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi refleksi bagi guru dan siswa di dalam pembelajaran serta menjadi referensi bagi peneliti berikutnya
IMPROVING READING COMPREHENSION USE QUIZIZZ APPLICATION AND COGNITIVE STYLE
Get PDFThis study explores the impact of the Quizizz application and visualizer-verbalizer cognitive styles on students' reading comprehension. The research aims to determine whether interactive learning tools like Quizizz can improve students' reading comprehension by considering their cognitive preferences. The issues addressed in this study include (1) students perceiving English as a challenging subject, (2) weak reading comprehension skills in descriptive texts, (3) limited mastery of English grammar, (4) disengagement with conventional teaching methods, and (5) the need for interactive tools to boost engagement and comprehension. The study specifically examines the influence of the Quizizz application and cognitive styles on the reading comprehension of seventh-grade students. Employing a 2 x 2 factorial design, the research focuses on two independent variables: the use of Quizizz and cognitive styles (visualizer vs. verbalizer). The findings reveal that the Quizizz application significantly enhances students' reading comprehension. Furthermore, the interaction between the Quizizz application and cognitive styles suggests that personalized digital tools can improve student engagement and comprehension, offering valuable insights for future English language teaching strategies

Emphasizing the transformative power of Morrie’s reflections on mortality, the research reveals an unconventional approach to grieving that centers on acceptance, compassion, and introspection. Departing from the conventional portrayal of grief as a tumultuous emotional journey, Morrie’s perspective reframes terminal illness as an opportunity for profound emotional clarity and growth. Utilizing a qualitative literary analysis, the study investigates the extent to which Morrie’s emotional trajectory aligns with or diverges from Kübler-Ross’s framework. The analysis finds that Morrie’s experience of grief unfolds in a fluid, contemplative fashion, offering a nuanced understanding of how inner wisdom can mitigate the psychological burden of impending death
Efektivitas Konseling Kelompok dalam Teknik Realita untuk Meningkatkan Kepercayaan Diri Mahasiswa Broken Home
No full textBroken homes can have a significant impact on children's psychological development, including in terms of self-confidence. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of reality techniques in group counseling to increase the self-confidence of students from broken homes. The research method used was a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, involving an experimental group that received group counseling intervention with reality techniques and a control group that did not receive intervention. The research participants were students who were identified as coming from broken homes and had low levels of self-confidence. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique (N = 5). The instrument used to measure self-confidence was a self-confidence scale, measured before and after the intervention. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test to determine the difference in significant increases before and after treatment. The results showed that group counseling with reality techniques significantly increased the self-confidence of broken home students. The implications of the study indicate the importance of psychological support for broken home students to overcome self-confidence problems
Perbandingan Efektivitas Adsorpsi Ion Logam Timbal (Pb) Menggunakan Biji Buah Durian Teraktivasi NaOH Dan HCl
Get PDFPencemaran logam berat seperti timbal (Pb) dalam air merupakan permasalahan lingkungan yang serius karena sifatnya yang toksik, persisten, dan bioakumulatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan efektivitas adsorpsi ion Pb²⁺ menggunakan adsorben dari biji buah durian (Durio zibethinus) yang telah diaktivasi secara kimia dengan larutan NaOH dan HCl. Adsorben dipreparasi melalui proses karbonisasi dan aktivasi kimia, kemudian dikarakterisasi menggunakan Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) dan Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) untuk mengetahui gugus fungsional serta morfologi permukaan. Proses adsorpsi dilakukan dalam larutan Pb²⁺ dengan variasi pH, waktu kontak, dan konsentrasi awal logam. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah adsorben yang telah diaktivasi dengan efisiensi maksimum pada pH 5 dan waktu kontak 60 menit menunjukkan bahwa penyerapan ion logam Pb sebesar 57,97% dengan aktivasi NaOH, sedangkan dengan aktivasi HCl 0,01 M sebesar 28,34%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa biji durian teraktivasi NaOH memiliki potensi sebagai adsorben alternatif yang efektif dan ramah lingkungan untuk pengolahan limbah logam berat

Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai identifikasi senyawa metabolit sekunder pada tanaman daun afrika (Vernonia amygdalina Del) dan daun aibubur (Eucalyptus populus) asal pulau Timor. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi senyawa metabolit sekunder yang terkandung dengan metode ekstraksi menggunakan pelarut metanol dan etanol yang dilakukan secara maserasi selama 1×4 jam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu ekstraksi secara dingin dan identifikasi secara kualitatif menggunakan pereaksi kimia. Ekstrak yang diperoleh kemudian dipekatkan menggunakan evaporator. Hasil identifikasi senyawa metabolit sekunder pada ekstrak metanol daun afrika dan ekstrak etanol daun aibubur menjukan bahwa ekstrak metanol daun afrika mengandung 4 senyawa metabolit sekunder yakni flavonoid, saponin, tannin dan fenol. Sedangkan ekstrak etanol daun aibubur terdapat 3 senyawa metabolit sekunder yakni flavonoid, tannin dan fenol. Kedua ekstrak sama-sama tidak mengandung senyawa streroid/triterpenoi

Get PDFTeachers as educators in classroom learning have an important role in improving the competence of educators in creating a fun, creative and innovative learning environment. The purpose of this training is to increase understanding and practice ASIK (Active, Scientific, Innovative, and Creative) learning at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja. The training method includes theory sessions, hands-on practice, and interactive discussions involving teachers at SMAN 1 Tanjung Raja. This activity involved 31 teachers of SMAN 1 Tanjung Raja. The material presented included an introduction to the concept of ASIK, optimization of technology-based learning, and the application of interactive learning media according to the independent curriculum. The results of this training were evaluated and showed that this training succeeded in increasing teachers' understanding of the concept of creative learning and motivation to apply it in teaching and learning activities. This training is expected to be a model in supporting the improvement of the quality of education at the secondary school level and become an additional material for teachers in improving learning in the classroom

Get PDFKegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan siswa di SMK Negeri 3 Kayu Agung dalam menulis dan mengapresiasi karya sastra, dengan fokus pada integrasi nilai-nilai pendidikan moral dan karakter dalam proses pembelajaran. Melalui metode penyuluhan, diskusi, dan praktik langsung, kegiatan ini dirancang secara sistematis mulai dari identifikasi kebutuhan hingga pelatihan berbasis sastra. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan partisipasi aktif baik dari guru maupun siswa dalam menerapkan pendekatan sastra sebagai media internalisasi nilai-nilai kehidupan, seperti empati, kejujuran, dan tanggung jawab. Tujuan penelitian ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan hubungan budaya organisasi dan komitmen organisasi terhadap efektivitas kerja organisasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner acak yang disebarkan kepada 95 karyawan. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis korelasi, analisis regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil dari analisis menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh signifikan serta hubungan yang cukup kuat dan searah terhadap efektivitas kerja organisasi. Demikian pula, komitmen organisasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan serta hubungan yang cukup kuat dan searah terhadap efektivitas kerja organisasi. Selain itu budaya organisasi dan komitmen organisasi bersama-sama berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap efektivitas kerja organisasi serta memiliki hubungan yang kuat dan searah terhadap efektivitas kerja pada PT Argo Pantes Tbk. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menegaskan bahwa budaya organisasi yang sehat dan tingkat komitmen yang tinggi dari karyawan merupakan elemen kunci dalam menciptakan kerja organisasi yang efektif.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to examine the influence and relationship between organizational culture and organizational commitment on organizational work effectiveness. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach with data collected through randomly distributed questionnaires to 95 employees. The data were analyzed using correlation analysis, simple linear regression, and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that organizational culture has a significant influence and a fairly strong and positive relationship with work effectiveness. Similarly, organizational commitment shows a significant impact and a strong, positive correlation with work effectiveness. Furthermore, organizational culture and commitment simultaneously have a significant and positive influence on work effectiveness at PT Argo Pantes Tbk. This study also seeks to emphasize that a healthy organizational culture and a high level of employee commitment are key elements in achieving effective organizational performance.
