Get PDFTeaching English as A Foreign Language based on the constructivist teaching and learning of TBI Study Program at IAIN Bone have its challenge. One of the challenges is providing teaching module. This research is focused on designing Teaching English as A Foreign Language (TEFL) Module based on constructivist teaching and learning. The research applied research and development by using ADDIE model. The subject in this research is students in TBI Study Program. The result of the research shows that the module has practicality and effective to use in Teaching English as A Foreign Language (TEFL) in TBI Study Program IAIN Bone
THE IMPACTS OF SPEECH ACTS TO THE EFL TEACHER AND THE STUDENTS’ ACTIVENESS IN THE TEACHING LEARNING PROCESS
Get PDFThis research aims at identifying (1) the kinds of speech act which are performed by the teacher in Indonesian EFL classroom in terms of locutionary, illocutionary and perlocutionary, (2) The function of speech act produced by the teacher, (3) The impacts of speech act to the teacher’s and students activeness in teaching and learning process. This research employed both qualitative and quantitative method. The data were in the form of utterances spoken by the EFL teacher when teaching in the classroom. The researcher planned, collected, analyzed and reported the research findings. The steps of collecting the data were taking video of the EFL teacher when he was teaching in the classroom, transcribing what the teacher said, selecting the data, classifying the data, transferring the data into table, analyzing and interpreting the data. The findings showed that the EFL teacher commonly uses illocutionary act in his teaching. He performs mostly directives as the illocutionary acts as he often asks the students to do some works or activities. Giving instruction or command helps him to run the EFL class.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi (1) jenis tindak tutur yang dilakukan oleh guru di kelas EFL bahasa Indonesia ditinjau dari lokusi, ilokusi, dan perlokusi, (2) Fungsi tindak tutur yang dihasilkan oleh guru, (3) Dampaknya tindak tutur terhadap keaktifan guru dan siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Datanya berupa ucapan yang diucapkan oleh guru EFL saat mengajar di kelas. Peneliti merencanakan, mengumpulkan, menganalisis dan melaporkan temuan penelitian. Langkah-langkah pengumpulan data adalah mengambil video guru EFL ketika dia mengajar di kelas, menyalin apa yang dikatakan guru, memilih data, mengklasifikasikan data, mentransfer data ke dalam tabel, menganalisis dan menafsirkan data. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa guru EFL umumnya menggunakan tindak ilokusi dalam pengajarannya. Ia lebih banyak melakukan arahan sebagai tindak ilokusi karena ia sering meminta siswa melakukan suatu pekerjaan atau aktivitas. Memberikan instruksi atau perintah membantunya menjalankan kelas EF
POTENSI EKONOMI KABUPATEN KAPUAS HULU DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE LOCATION QUOTIENT DAN TIPOLOGI KLASSEN
Get PDFTujuan utama dari peneitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sektor unggulan serta menganalisis gambaran tipologi Klassen Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder selama empat tahun dengan metode Location Quotient (LQ) dan Tipologi Klassen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sektor unggulan kabupaten Kapuas Hulu yaitu sektor pertanian, kehutanan dan perikanan, sektor pertambangan dan penggalian, sektor konstruksi, sektor jasa perusahaan, sektor administrasi pemerintah, pertahanan dan jaminan sosial wajib serta sektor jasa kesehatan dan kegiatan sosial. Adapun yang termasuk pada kuadran satu (maju dan tumbuh pesat) yaitu sektor konstruksi, sektor jasa perusahaan dan sektor administrasi pemerintahan, pertahanan dan jaminan sosial wajib. Kuadran kedua (maju tapi tertekan) yaitu sektor pertambangan dan penggalian, sektor jasa kesehatan dan kegiatan sosial. Kuadran ketiga (potensial atau masih dapat berkembang dengan pesat) yaitu sektor industri pengolahan, sektor pengadaan air, pengolahan sampah, limbah dan daur ulang, sektor transportasi dan pergudangan, serta sektor infoemasi dan komunikasi. MARRIAGE BETWEEN INDIVIDUALS OF THE SAME SEX, ACCORDING TO ISLAMIC LAW, POSITIVE LAW, AND HUMAN RIGHTS
Get PDFThis study examines the issue of same-sex marriage within the realms of Islamic law, positive law, and human rights. Existing literature reveals that both Islamic and positive laws tend to prohibit same-sex marriage or any form of LGBT relationships. However, human rights perspectives present a contrasting viewpoint. While Indonesia explicitly rejects same-sex marriage based on human rights, approximately 30 countries worldwide have legalized it, recognizing individual rights irrespective of sexual orientation. This research highlights the tensions between religious norms, positive law, and human rights principles regarding same-sex marriage, providing a foundation for further discussion on reconciling legal frameworks in an increasingly inclusive society that embraces sexual diversity

Get PDFBasically, the Islamic education awareness method is very effective in fostering the personality of students. This paper aims to reveal the meaning of the awareness method and the types of awareness methods applied by teachers at SMKN 1 Bone. This research includes field research and is located at SMKN 1 Bone. Data were collected using observation guidelines, interview guides and document searches as well as relevant journal articles and books. The results showed that the Islamic education awareness method is very effective in fostering the personality of students and motivating them so that the application of this method allows tens of thousands of believers to open human hearts to receive divine guidance and Islamic civilization concepts. The method of awareness of Islamic education essentially contains three integral dimensions, which cannot be separated from one another. The three dimensions are awareness aimed at human nature as monotheistic creatures (tawhid) and faith in God, direction aimed at lust and guidance aimed at reason as the power of reason. From the three dimensions above, it can be seen that the subjects and objects of da'wah are humans.Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMKN 1 Bone have formulated several methods to make students aware. Aiming to find out learning by using ICT media in order to improve motivation and learning achievement of class X students of Public Vocational Secondary Schools 1 Bone, learning achievement of Islamic religious education of class X students of Public Vocational Secondary Schools 1 Bone, and Effectiveness of ICT Media on student motivation and learning achievement at Public Vocational Secondary Schools 1 Bone.To obtain answers to the three main problems, the authors used the method of field research, this study included a type of qualitative research using three approaches namely; pedagogical, psychological, and sociological approaches. Data obtained through secondary data, namely questionnaires and interviews directly to respondents using four data collection techniques, cluster techniques, stratified, proportional and random techniques.Research results saw the most effective use of ICT is important. The computer and network media used in ICT learning are: Al-Qur'an program in word, Al-Qur'an Flash, Laptop, cellphone, E-Learning and video learning. And than The effectiveness of ICT Media on students' motivation and learning achievement, significantly increases the textbooks, given by the teacher they can have and given to students via WhatsApp. Therefore, increasing motivation and learning achievement through ICT media in Public Vocational Secondary Schools Bone is more effective compared to traditional and conventional learning

No full textDomestic violence (DV) is a human rights violation that often targets women and children. In the Islamic context, families are expected to be harmonious institutions filled with love and care. However, DV still frequently occurs, even within Muslim communities. This research examines the Islamic legal perspective on DV and its application in the Religious Court of Situbondo. This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study method at the Religious Court of Situbondo. Data were collected through interviews with judges and analysis of DV case documents submitted to the court. The study found that the application of Islamic law in handling DV cases in the Religious Court of Situbondo is based on justice and victim protection, although challenges remain in its implementation. Evidence such as medical reports and witness testimonies play a crucial role in decision-making. Islamic law plays a significant role in addressing DV cases in the Religious Court, but its integration with positive law, such as the Domestic Violence Eradication Act, faces challenges. Further efforts are needed to harmonize both legal systems in protecting DV victims.Kekerasan dalam rumah tangga (KDRT) merupakan pelanggaran hak asasi manusia yang sering menargetkan perempuan dan anak-anak. Dalam konteks Islam, keluarga diharapkan menjadi institusi yang harmonis dan penuh kasih sayang. Namun, realitas menunjukkan bahwa KDRT masih kerap terjadi, bahkan dalam komunitas Muslim. Penelitian ini mengkaji pandangan hukum Islam terhadap KDRT serta penerapannya di Pengadilan Agama Situbondo.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus pada Pengadilan Agama Situbondo. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan hakim dan analisis dokumen kasus KDRT yang diajukan ke pengadilan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan hukum Islam dalam penanganan KDRT di Pengadilan Agama Situbondo didasarkan pada prinsip keadilan dan perlindungan terhadap korban, meskipun masih ada tantangan dalam implementasinya. Bukti seperti visum et repertum dan saksi menjadi elemen penting dalam pengambilan keputusan. Hukum Islam memiliki peran signifikan dalam menangani kasus KDRT di Pengadilan Agama, tetapi integrasinya dengan hukum positif seperti UU PKDRT masih menghadapi beberapa kendala. Diperlukan upaya lebih lanjut untuk mengharmonisasikan kedua sistem hukum dalam melindungi korban KDRT
Ethnopedagogical Content in the Traditional Art of Sasak Ethnic Group: Gendang Beleq
Get PDFThe integration of culture in education, known as ethnopedagogy, enhances learning effectiveness. However, limited research exists on this topic. Therefore, this study aims to explore ethnopedagogical content in gendang beleq art, serving as a reference for integrating culture and local wisdom in Indonesia. This research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing a literature study method to gather information from various relevant sources like articles, proceedings, and books. The data was analyzed using a qualitative content analysis approach with thematic analysis. Findings reveal that gendang beleq art contains various ethnopedagogical contents. These include ethnomathematics concepts like geometric shapes (such as half a needle, beam, and tube) and flat shapes (triangles, pentagons, and circles). Additionally, the art form incorporates ethnoscience concepts related to sound, as well as concepts of motion, locomotors in floor formations or patterns, and dance during drum beleq performances. Lastly, it encompasses the content of the Pancasila concept, emphasizing integration, unity, justice, and equality. Analysis of Arabic Language Learning Difficulties Among Students in the Qawaid Al-Lughah Al-Arabiyyah Materials
Get PDFMastery of qawaid al-lughah al-arabiyyah material is fundamental for students in the Arabic language education study program as it lays the groundwork for mastering the four essential language skills: istima', kalam, qira'ah, and kitabah. Despite its significance, students encounter difficulties in comprehending this material. This qualitative descriptive study conducted at IAIN Bone involves eight students and two lecturers from the Arabic education study program, employing in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation for data collection. The thematic analysis reveals three main findings: 1) Learning difficulties are categorized into nahwu and sharaf, encompassing challenges in grasping new terms, creating examples, applying rules, analyzing sentence elements, and understanding wazan and shigat. 2) Factors contributing to these difficulties include inadequate face-to-face learning schedules, infrequent lesson repetition, limited self-practice, excessive reliance on online learning, a less supportive environment, and insufficient learning facilities. 3) To overcome these challenges, students take individual initiatives, including self-motivation, completing learning activities, forming communication and study groups, actively participating in the learning process, and enrolling in training/courses. Addressing these challenges can enhance Arabic language education, enabling students to achieve proficiency in qawaid al-lughah al-arabiyyah and the four language skills.Keywords: Arabic learning, Learning difficulties, Nahwu, Sharaf, Qawaid al-lughah al-arabiyyah Â
The Effect of Android-Based Learning Using Smart Apps Creator (SAC) on Students' Integrated Science Interest
Get PDFSmart Apps Creator (SAC) enables teachers to develop android-based learning media without requiring coding expertise. Numerous studies have explored the development of SAC media. However, research specifically focused on the effect of SAC on students' interest in integrated science subjects remains severely limited. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the effect of SAC on students’ integrated science interest. This study involved 27 students on the second grade at SMPN 2 Bontomarannu, South Sulawesi. It employed an experimental approach with a pre-experiment method, utilizing a one-shot case study model. Data collection involved observation and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analyses with SPSS. The results demonstrated that SAC positively contributed on students' learning interest. Specifically, 85.71% of students reported feeling that the classroom atmosphere became more enjoyable, and 85.71% were focused and attentive during integrated science studies when using SAC as the learning media. Moreover, 85.71% of students expressed satisfaction and comfort while learning integrated science with SAC. Additionally, 86.9% of students exhibited good participation in the learning process. Based on the data, it can be concluded that the utilization of mobile learning using SAC has a positive effect on students' learning interest in integrated science.Keywords: Android-based learning, Integrated science, Mobile learning, Smart apps creator (SAC), Student interes
