The impact of applying knowledge management in the Kuwait National Library
Get PDFThe research aimed to identify the extent of knowledge management application in the Kuwait National Library. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher followed the inductive documentary approach and analyzed the content of intellectual production from previous studies and research, where the philosophical and theoretical foundations of knowledge management were researched and studied. Then, the study tested the requirements for implementing knowledge management in the Kuwait National Library. Through this study and examination, several lessons were extracted that can be beneficial in the area of knowledge management. The study shows some developmental proposals that the researcher wishes to follow to raise the level of library performance, and some proposals for the library to monitor its knowledge priorities and work to provide knowledge as soon as possible. The library must invest in its uninvested stock of knowledge. It should encourage work with diverse cognitive teams to generate knowledge. Moreover, it encourages its employees to search for knowledge related to its activities in all sources. Furthermore, it supports scientific research to generate knowledge related to its long-term goals and supports the institution’s senior management to implement knowledge management.https://doi.org/10.24897/acn.64.68.20251224001
Systematic Review: Project Management and Risk Management
Get PDFIntegrating project management and risk management is considered one of the critical factors for achieving sustainable project success by reducing potential risks and leveraging opportunities. Knowledge domains contribute to enhancing project performance and predicting potential risks. It has become essential to adopt modern tools, techniques, and the technical and managerial skills of project professionals. Therefore, a study was conducted on project management and risk management, highlighting their development and importance in enhancing the achievement of institutional goals. The study adopted a descriptive methodology using content analysis, where academic documents and published research were reviewed and analyzed through accredited scientific sources such as Google Scholar, Science Direct, the Saudi Digital Library (SDL), Dar Almandumah Database, Emerald Database, IEEE Database, and Wiley Online Database. The study identified the main axes of both fields and traced their development over time. The study's subject boundaries included project management and risk management, while the formal boundaries focused on scientific production published in theses, books, research, conferences, and workshops. The temporal boundaries extended from 1986 to 2024, emphasizing literature published in both Arabic and English. The spatial boundaries covered relevant studies at both local and international levels. The study emphasizes that collaboration between academics and practitioners plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between theory and practice in the field of project management and risk management. This collaboration contributes to the development of integrated strategies that address contemporary challenges. The study recommended utilizing research published in reliable databases to enhance the quality of managerial decisions and increase the competitiveness of organizations in a dynamic work environment.https://doi.org/10.24897/acn.64.68.20251224001

The study reached several results, The most important of which is that information becomes more valuable the higher it is ranked, creating a closed system that values the preservation of secrets more than the accumulation of publicly available knowledge. Open source intelligence has also been more useful than traditional intelligence from the Cold War until today, as it is useful in all fields, not just military, Social and economic development based on competition and measuring progress through knowledge gathered through open intelligence reflects positively on the development of armies and not the other way around. Also, in light of the spread of technologies and communications, development is fundamentally linked in all fields to knowledge and information collected through... the Osint Road. Utilizing Artificial Intelligence Techniques in Supporting Enterprise Content Management Systems

Utilizing a documentary and comparative approach, the study rigorously assesses how these leading ECM systems employ AI to not only enhance functional capabilities but also improve user engagement and streamline content management processes. Findings demonstrate that Box incorporates 29 distinct AI-supported features, while M-Files includes 27, showcasing a significant but not fully overlapping array of functionalities. This analysis provides a clearer understanding of each system's unique strengths—Box with its advanced visual search and interactive chat features, and M-Files with its robust content analysis and language detection capabilities. This study highlights the critical role of AI in modern content management, offering insights into how these technologies can be further harnessed to drive efficiency and compliance in enterprise environments

The study recommends that every organization should benefit from digital tools. In bringing knowledge in terms of building a system that contains flowing knowledge collected from open sources, countries must also rely on the inevitable technological development to synchronize with the development of OSINT tools, relying on efficiency, effectiveness, and low-cost service, and on further research and studies in the field of ( OSINT) The stages of collecting intelligence information can also be determined using OSINT tools. The study recommends that every organization must benefit from digital tools in bringing knowledge in terms of building a system that contains flowing knowledge collected from open sources. Countries must also rely on technological development. It is imperative to synchronize with the development of OSINT tools, relying on efficiency, effectiveness, and low-cost service, and to further research and studies in the field of OSINT. User Behavior Trends in Saudi Arabia Towards STC Pay Digital Wallet: A Survey Study
Get PDFThis study aims to identify the acceptance and adoption of the STC Pay digital wallet among users in Saudi Arabia, as well as to measure their satisfaction and intention to continue using the wallet. To achieve this objective, the developed model of the Unified Theory of Technology Acceptance (UTAUT2) and the modified Model of Technology Acceptance (TAM-2) were applied. In addition, the factors like satisfaction and continuity used as dependent variables in order to analyze the correlation between different factors and user's behavior towards the digital wallet. The study also aims to explore the extend of adoption and use of STC Pay wallet among the Saudi society- citizens and residents and to understand and analyze the factors of their acceptance and adoption based on the special model that was developed and to shed light on the social and psychological factors that affect the adoption of STC Pay wallet in the country and how these factors contribute to increasing users acceptance and continued use of the wallet. The study relied on the descriptive survey approach upon a large sample of STC Pay customers in KSA, using an electronic questionnaire distributed randomly across social media sites. The study provided a number of results , most notably the increase in the number of users of the digital wallets after the Corona pandemic and the effectiveness of this service was proven by the continuity of users even after the pandemic which was the direct result of customer satisfaction after proving the quality of service, trust, ease of use and tangible effectiveness of STC Pay, despite some problems represented by users' dissatisfaction of poor customer service and delays in technical support. The study recommends the need to improve the user interface, enhance security and privacy policies to protect personal data, and add innovative services that align with the culture of Saudi society. Suggested improvements include providing a joint family wallet managed collectively, offering a smart digital piggy bank service, and implementing rewards and loyalty programs through the wallet to attract a higher number of users.https://doi.org/10.24897/acn.64.68.20251224002

The descriptive analytical approach is used to review seminal work related to the topic, where focus is brought about Arab countries and how they have managed to try and maintain tax compliance rates as these have decreased drastically in the past few years. the current review found important results related to problems associated with decreased rates of tax compliance, where many emphasized the importance of tax justice (fairness) as one of the main factors that can help stop this deterioration among taxpayers. The research also focused on presenting some recommendations to apply in order to increase tax compliance rates, and can serve as input for different tax reforms in the future
