Get PDFDr. Manuel Gaxiola (1927-2014) was an author and preliminary leader of the Iglesia Apostolica de la Fe en Cristo Jesús in Mexico. He served as president and presiding bishop of Mexico’s Iglesia Apostolica de la Fe en Cristo Jesús for two terms (1970-1974, and 1978-1982). Dr. Gaxiola also served as the first non-US president of the Society for Pentecostal Studies, and director of CERLAM (The Center for the Study of Religion in Latin America).
The Manuel J. Gaxiola Collection includes biographical material, correspondence, administrative records, and ministerial training and publications. Materials relate to the charismatic church movement in Latin America, particularily the Iglesia Apostolica de la Fe en Cristo Jesús.
Dates range from 1930-2005. Content is written in the English and Spanish languages

Huber, retired minister in the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, refers to himself as an “ecumenthusiast.” Since attending the Oberlin Faith and Order Meeting of 1957, he has been involved in an ever larger scope of local and international ecumenical activities, all of which are reflected in this collection which documents more than 50 years of American and International ecumenical meetings, dialogs, publications and initiatives. When necessary, John Huber attended meetings as a member of the Press corps, reporting for the Southern Cross on such events as the 75th anniversary celebration of Faith and Order at Lausanne and the WCC Assembly in Porto Alegre in 2006.
The collection of 1460 books and 49 boxes of archival papers is accompanied by an annotated bibliography by John G. Huber
COLLECTION 0008: Robert Acheson Hadden Collection
Get PDFThe collection began with a fragile scrapbook containing cutout Bible studies from The Christian Fundamentals Magazine. Many materials came from the New Testament course offered by Hadden in each issue, as well as the “Questions and Answers” section initialed H.N.B. The scrapbook includes typed and handwritten notes; mailings sent out by the League; and a two page manuscript, “How the Holy Bible Came to Us,” by Gerald B. Winrod.
Fuller Seminary Archives staff added two pamphlets by Hadden and information on the League and its publication.
The David Allan Hubbard Library also holds a number of fascicles of The Christian Fundamentals Magazine
