The Effect of Work-Life Balance on Employee Job Satisfaction in the Furniture Sales Industry: An Empirical Study Using Non-Parametric Statistical Methods
This study aims to analyze the effect of work-life balance on employee job satisfaction in the furniture sales industry. Data was collected using a Google Form questionnaire filled out by 75 respondents working in the furniture sales industry. The results of data analysis using SPSS showed that the data were not normally distributed, so non-parametric statistical methods were used for further analysis. Validity tests showed a significant positive correlation between work-life balance and employee job satisfaction (r = 0.574; p < 0.05). Reliability tests showed that the research instrument was reliable with Cronbach's Alpha values for work-life balance variable (α = 0.870), job satisfaction (α = 0.822), and employee loyalty (α = 0.788). Multiple regression analysis showed that work-life balance and job satisfaction significantly affect employee loyalty with R² = 0.672, meaning that 67.2% of the variation in employee loyalty is explained by these two variables. Job satisfaction proved to have a significant positive effect on employee loyalty (β = 0.662; p < 0.05). This study concludes that companies need to pay attention to the work-life balance of employees to improve their job satisfaction and loyalty. Policies such as flexible working hours, employee welfare programs, and mental health support can be effective strategies to achieve these goals

This study aimed to determine the optimal concentration of cinnamon powder in nutmeg pulp tea based on its chemical composition and organoleptic properties. The experiment was conducted using a completely randomized design with five treatment ratios of cinnamon powder to nutmeg pulp powder (0%:100%, 2%:98%, 4%:96%, 6%:94%, and 8%:92%), each replicated three times. The results showed that the 4%:96% ratio produced the most favorable outcomes, with a water content of 10.61%, phenol content of 6.12 mg/g, and antioxidant activity of 74.06%. Sensory evaluation indicated that this formulation was moderately preferred in terms of taste (3.20), color (3.20), aroma (3.20), and overall acceptance (2.94). In terms of hedonic quality, the tea was characterized by a slight nutmeg taste (3.25), a brownish-yellow color (2.95), and a slight nutmeg aroma (2.95). These findings suggest that incorporating 4% cinnamon powder provides the best balance between chemical quality and consumer acceptability in nutmeg pulp tea

The number of threats to the security of websites and web servers, which include things like Web Defacement, is increasing every year. This is a major concern in today's cybersecurity world. It includes websites that are part of critical infrastructure, like government, health, and energy systems. This research study looks at how machine learning models can automatically detect Web Defacement attacks. The main goal is to make sure these models are very accurate. We developed a supervised learning-based classification model using Web Defacement datasets from public archives and simulated mock sites. This research study looks at how well three types of classification models—Random Forest, Support Vector Machine, and Naive Bayes—perform at identifying defaced websites. The results of the experiment show that Random Forest is the best option, with up to 96% accuracy. This research shows that the machine learning approach could be very important in developing a system that can detect cyberattacks early on. This system would protect important infrastructure in the country

Evaluation of Analgesic Activity Corypalmine and Panasenoside Compounds on Cox-2 Receptors In-Silico
Pain is a mechanism that occurs due to stimulation of nociceptors as pain receptors that cause ongoing or future tissue damage. Analgesic drugs that are usually used are COX-2 inhibitor drugs that can inhibit the activity of the COX-2 enzyme in synthesizing Prostaglandins (PG) which respond to pain and inflammation. Specific research on active compounds such as corypalmine and panasenoside related to their effects as analgesics has not been widely carried out, so it is necessary to predict the effects of both compounds by analyzing their activity on the COX-2 protein through in silico docking studies. This study aims to see the analgesic activity between the two compounds as COX-2 inhibitors. Testing was carried out through the stages of protein and ligand preparation, method validation, molecular docking of corypalmine and panasenoside compounds with COX-2 and visualization of bonds using Ligplot+. The results showed that the corypalmine docking score was more negative than panasenoside on COX-2, respectively -60.33 and -42.02. It can be concluded that the corypalmine compound is able to bind more strongly to COOX-2 and predicted to have a strong and more stable analgesic effect than panacea

FORECASTING MONTHLY RAINFALL IN PANGKEP REGENCY USING STATISTICAL DOWNSCALING MODEL WITH ROBUST PRINCIPAL COMPONENT REGRESSION TECHNIQUE
A General Circulation Model (GCM) is a global climate model commonly used to predict local-scale climate patterns. However, the spatial resolution of GCMs is typically on a global scale, which is inadequate for predicting local climate. Statistical downscaling (SD) is used to transform climate information from a global scale to a smaller scale for local-scale climate predictions. GCM data have large dimensions and high correlations between grids, so principal component regression (PCR) is used in SD. The minimum covariance determinant (MCD) and minimum vector variance (MVV) methods are used in principal component analysis to obtain robust principal components (PCs). The data used in this study were the monthly rainfall data in Pangkep Regency for the period from January 1999 to December 2022 as the response variable, which were obtained from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Region IV Makassar. The predictor variable data were GCM precipitation data (64 variables) for the same period and three dummy variables. This study aimed to obtain rainfall forecasts in Pangkep Regency for the year 2023 based on a robust PCR model using results from MCD and MVV. The modeling results indicated that both the MCD and MVV methods provided similar model accuracy, with a coefficient of determination of approximately 91%. The PCR model with two PCs from the MVV method and dummy variables was identified as the best model for explaining the variability in rainfall data in Pangkep Regency. Additionally, the 2023 rainfall forecast results showed that both methods yielded relatively similar accuracy. The addition of dummy variables in the PCR model improved both the model accuracy and rainfall forecasts. The PCR model with three PCs from MVV and dummy principal component variables produced accurate rainfall forecasts based on a high correlation value (0.974) and the smallest mean absolute percentage error (7.290)
