Potensi dan Pemanfaatan Tanaman Sagu (Metroxylon sp) sebagai Pangan Lokal: Studi Kasus di Desa Feruni, Kecamatan Aru Selatan, Kabupaten Kepulauan Aru
The research was carried out in Feruni Village, South Aru District, Aru Islands Regency, from September to November 2021. This study aims to determine the potential and utilization of sago plants (Metroylon sp) in Feruni Village, South Aru District, Aru Islands Regency. The method used was a survey, and field data was collected by using questionnaires and FGD. Twenty respondents of sago’s farmers were randomly selected, and data obtained were descriptively and quantitatively processed to calculate density, frequency, dominance, and the important value index. The results showed that there are 3 types of sago in Feruni Village, South Aru District, Aru Islands Regency, namely Molat Sago (Metroxylon sagus Rottb), Tuni (Metroxylon rumphii Mart.), and Ihur (Metroxylon sylvestre Mart.). Traditional tools such as axes and machetes are used by people in Feruni village to harvest sago after putting it into the gutter, while sago leaves are used for roofs, the woven tumang sago sheath is used for seats, and the sago stems are used for firewood. There are 4 types of processed sago flour products, namely Papeda, Pompom, Sinoli, and Jepa-jepa, and based on basic ingredients, they can be divided into 2 main groups: raw (wet) and dried sago flour
REDD+ Sebagai kerangka Pembangunan Berkelanjutan Indonesia: Program dan dampak Implementasi di Tingkat Nasional (2010–2021)
REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation) is a global mechanism established under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by curbing deforestation and forest degradation. Conceptually, REDD+ operates as a results-based mechanism whereby participating countries must demonstrate verified emission reductions to receive performance-based incentives. In addition to emission reduction, REDD+ encompasses forest conservation, sustainable forest management, and the enhancement of forest carbon stocks. As one of the countries with the largest tropical forest areas in the world, Indonesia faces significant challenges in the forestry sector, which remains a major contributor to national greenhouse gas emissions and a critical driver of climate change. REDD+ thus emerges as a pivotal strategy for forest conservation and strengthening sustainable forest governance. This study aims to analyze the contribution and impacts of REDD+ implementation in Indonesia. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, the research draws upon various data sources, including academic literature, policy documents, official reports from UNFCCC and REDD+ platforms, and relevant news articles. The analysis is grounded in the Theory of Sustainable Development, which provides a conceptual lens to examine the interplay between environmental, social, and economic dimensions of REDD+ initiatives. Findings reveal that REDD+ implementation in Indonesia has contributed to a measurable reduction in deforestation rates. Beyond environmental benefits, REDD+ programs have also improved local community welfare through incentive-based mechanisms and participatory forest management. Furthermore, the initiative has facilitated access to carbon markets, enhancing climate financing opportunities and supporting Indonesia’s broader commitment to sustainable climate change mitigation
EKSPLORASI KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR GEOMETRI SISWA SD MELALUI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS AUGMENTED REALITY BERDASARKAN TEORI VAN HIELE
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kemampuan berpikir geometri siswa SD dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika melalui media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) berdasarkan teori Van Hiele. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksplorasi terhadap 32 siswa kelas VI MIT Daarunnaim Wayame. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir geometri siswa terkonsentrasi pada level visualisasi (28,13%), analisis (28,13%), dan deduksi informal (31,25%), dengan sedikit siswa mencapai level deduksi formal (9,38%) dan rigor (3,13%). Implementasi media pembelajaran berbasis AR efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir geometri siswa pada level 0 hingga level 3 (p < 0,05), dengan peningkatan terbesar pada level deduksi informal. Terdapat korelasi positif signifikan antara kualitas interaksi dengan media AR dan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir geometri, dengan tingkat keterlibatan interaktif sebagai faktor terkuat (r = 0,826). Analisis klaster mengidentifikasi tiga kelompok siswa berdasarkan respons terhadap pembelajaran berbasis AR yang berkorelasi dengan tingkat peningkatan kemampuan mereka. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis AR berpotensi signifikan mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir geometri siswa SD sesuai teori Van Hiele, namun implementasinya perlu mempertimbangkan aspek pedagogis, teknologis, dan karakteristik individual siswa
PKM OPTIMALISASI PERAN BIOKONTROL DALAM BUDIDAYA HORTIKULTURA - PELATIHAN UNTUK PETANI DAN PENYULUH DI LAHAN BASAH
This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to enhance the understanding and skills of farmers and agricultural extension workers in optimizing the role of biocontrol agents in horticultural cultivation on wetland areas. The activities were carried out through training sessions, field practices, and technical assistance. The training materials covered the identification of various types of biocontrol agents, application techniques, and their benefits in reducing the use of chemical pesticides. Evaluation results indicated a significant increase in participants’ knowledge levels, as well as a positive shift in attitudes toward the adoption of more environmentally friendly biological control methods. Moreover, the application of biocontrol agents in demonstration plots showed healthier plant growth with minimal pest attacks. This program is expected to serve as an initial step towards promoting sustainable horticultural cultivation practices in wetland areas
PENDAMPINGAN BAGI KELOMPOK ANAK SEKOLAH TENTANG BETERNAK AYAM KAMPUNG SUPER, ARAB SEBAGAI SUMBER PROTEIN HEWANI DI DUSUN AIRLOUW KOTA AMBON
Improving the knowledge and skills of school children, especially about raising chickens as a source of animal protein, begins with providing motivation, hard work/business and important basics to them. Raising native chickens has the potential to meet family needs, especially nutrition for children. Animal protein is an essential nutrient that plays an important role in improving children's nutritional status and is a strategic investment for future nutritional health. Protein and fat in meat and eggs can provide the energy needed by children for daily activities. Intensification of native chickens is a government program that has been running since 2000 to increase the population of chickens in order to meet the needs of the community. The general objective is to increase the production of native chickens by identifying superior seeds as males and females. The specific objective is to increase knowledge about the importance of protein, livestock skills, superior native chickens (KUB, Super and Arab). The implementation of community service activities is focused on student groups (teenagers and youth). The results obtained have a positive impact, children's knowledge and skills increase, this can be seen from cooperation in livestock farming. The positive impact of this activity is better chicken livestock production for family needs for meat and eggs, also reducing damage to yard plants and utilization of agricultural waste. The indicator of the success of this activity is around 80% of children who show better attention/response
PEMBERDAYAAN LANSIA DALAM PENANGANAN HIPERTENSI MELALUI EDUKASI TERAPI KOMPLEMENTER AROMATERAPI LAVENDER
Hypertension is one of the health problems experienced by many elderly and requires a holistic and sustainable management approach. One complementary therapy that can help overcome stress and lower blood pressure is lavender aromatherapy (Lavandula angustifolia). The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge of the elderly about hypertension and the use of lavender aromatherapy as a complementary therapy. This activity was carried out on May 16-17, 2025, at the Matahari Posyandu, Guntung Paikat Village, Banjarbaru City, with a participatory education method involving the elderly as active participants, totaling 22. Education is delivered through visual media, simple language, and interactive discussions to ensure optimal comprehension. The results showed a significant increase in the elderly's knowledge about the benefits, how to use, and the safety of lavender essential oil. In addition, their understanding of the integration between medical medicine and complementary therapy has also improved. This community service activity proves that the right educational approach can empower the elderly to manage hypertension independently and improve their quality of life
ANALYSIS OF EDUCATION FUNDING ALLOCATION AND STUDENT ENROLLMENT DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SMA AND SMK STUDENTS IN INDONESIA : RM MANOVA APPROACH
The Indonesia Smart Program (PIP) is one of the government's efforts to improve access to education for underprivileged students. The purpose of this study is to examine how PIP educational aid was distributed and how successful it was in Indonesia in 2022 at the Senior High School (SMA) and Vocational High School (SMK) levels. The method used is Repeated Measures Multivariate Analysis of Variance (RM Manova) for education. The research data was obtained from the official government data portal of Indonesia (data.go.id). The results of the study do not show any significant differences in the distribution of assistance between SMA and SMK across various regions. Further research is needed to consider other factors that may have an impact
ORDINAL PROBIT REGRESSION MODELING ON THE HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INDEX MALUKU AND NORTH MALUKU PROVINCES
This study examines the factors influencing Human Development Index (HDI) in Maluku and North Maluku Provinces using ordinal probit regression. Secondary data are employed to identify key socio-economic variables affecting HDI levels. Model selection is based on the Akaike Information Criterion (AIC), Schwarz Bayesian Information Criterion (SBIC), and R² values, while the Likelihood Ratio (LR) test is used to evaluate the significance of parameters. The findings reveal that expected years of schooling (X₂) is the most significant factor in determining HDI categories. The model that includes only this variable yields the lowest AIC and SBIC values and shows a significant LR test result. Furthermore, the negative regression coefficient indicates that an increase in expected years of schooling raises the probability of a region achieving a higher HDI category. These results underscore the crucial role of education policies in promoting human development. Future research is encouraged to incorporate economic, health, and infrastructure variables to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing HDI
Analyzing Reading Comprehension Questions in English Textbooks Using Barrett’s Taxonomy
This study analyzes reading comprehension questions in the English textbook “Bahasa Inggris Tingkat Lanjut” using Barrett’s Taxonomy. The objective is to categorize and evaluate the cognitive demands of these questions, providing insights into the effectiveness of the textbook in developing students' reading comprehension skills. Through a qualitative content analysis of the questions, the study identifies the distribution of questions across the five levels of Barrett’s Taxonomy: Literal Comprehension, Reorganization, Inferential Comprehension, Evaluation, and Appreciation. The findings reveal a disproportionate distribution of cognitive levels questions in this textbook. There are 6 (14%) literal comprehension, 1 (3%) reorganization question, 19 (45%) inferential questions, 11 (26%) evaluation questions, and 5 (12%) appreciation questions. The analysis suggests that the textbook moderately promotes higher-order thinking skills, but lacks a balanced distribution recommended by educational standards. The study underscores the need for a more varied approach to question design in textbooks to foster comprehensive reading skills. Implications for educators, textbook authors, and curriculum designers include the necessity to incorporate a wider range of question types to better support students' cognitive and interpretive abilities. Future research should explore the impact of diversified questioning techniques on student learning outcomes across different educational contexts. Future editions of the textbook should include more balanced distribution of questions types, reducing the proportions of Essay question and increasing the number of multiple choices questions. The textbook also should include more types of questions, such as, Yes/No, True/False and WH questions
PENGARUH PENGETAHUAN PERPAJAKAN TERHADAP KEPATUHAN WAJIB PAJAK DENGAN RELIGIUSITAS SEBAGAI VARIABEL PEMODERASI (STUDI EMPIRIS PADA KP2KP DOBO)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengetahuan perpajakan terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak dengan religiusitas sebagai variabel pemoderasi yang terdaftar di KP2KP Dobo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Data disebar melalui kuesioner kepada 70 responden, yaitu wajib pajak orang pribadi yang terdaftar di KP2KP Dobo. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda untuk menguji pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen serta menguji pengaruh variabel moderasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan perpajakan berpengaruh positif terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak yang menunjukkan semakin dalamnya pengetahuan seseorang terhadap pajak maka semakin tinggi tingkat kepatuhan membayar pajak. Religiusitas mampu memoderisasi pengaruh pengetahuan perpajakan terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak. Religiusitas merupakan keyakinan, pengetahuan dan pengalaman wajib pajak dalam menjalankan kewajiban perpajakannya. Dalam penelitian ini, tingkat religiusitas dan pengetahuan agama yang tinggi akan mempengaruhi wajib pajak dalam memahami pentingnya pajak bagi negara.
