The sustainable business strategy during the new normal era: lesson for Indonesian academic
This study examined ten sustainable business strategies that more experts have advised use running a business in the new normal era. Many findings went publication on a variety of profitable business strategies. However, very little has discussed in a balanced proportion between gaining profitable business and design with high sustainable value. Conditionally, running a business requires a variety of strategic approaches that are sustainable following the policy of the COVID-19 protocol. Understanding which strategies align with the above expectations, we have conducted a series of online literature studies using qualitative methods based on a phenomenological approach. Then, they were analyzed using the conceptual framework of higher education research skills. Through this process, the authors ensured that these findings are valid and reliable. Finally, we summarized ten relevant, sustainable business strategies that are relevant to be applied in the new normal business era in Indonesia. They include continuity strategy, business to business, opportunity strategy, rethinking, lesson learned strategies, working from home, affected policies, new thinking patterns, flexibility strategies, and understanding of new processes. Therefore, these findings will provide profound insight for business people and academicians to work on business practices' sustainability to facing the pandemic disruption
The influence of knowledge and attitude as consumer behavior on product purchase interest on lazada e-commerce
This research was conducted to determine the effect of knowledge and attitudes as consumer behavior on product purchase intention on Lazada e-commerce. The population in this study are all consumers who are all people who will make purchases at e-commerce Lazada in 2021. The sample in this study using the Lemeshow formula shows as many as 100 respondents in the fishing mania community in South Sumatra with the sampling technique in this study and using a non-probability sampling method. The results of the multiple linear analysis show that knowledge as consumer behavior has a positive and significant effect on product buying interest on Lazada e-commerce. Attitudes as consumer behavior have a positive and significant effect on product buying interest in Lazada e-commerce. In the knowledge variable, Lazada needs to fix it in the form of a direct warning to the seller, who is considered problematic in presenting the information. In addition, the consumer attitude variable shows that they are not completely satisfied with the information on the products sold on Lazada. Therefore, Lazada must be even more active in supervising the products that resellers will sell
Organizational value systems and firms’ competitive advantage in the Nigerian banking industry
The study addressed organizational value and the Firm's Competitive Advantage in Nigeria Banking Industry in a bid to establish the relevance and relationship with Two objectives and evaluate the effect of brand value and corporate reputation on the firm's competitive advantage. Two objectives and research questions were used to establish the relationship. A sample size of 124 was used for the study. Findings revealed a significant relationship amongst the variables. It was recommended that organizations should uphold values by ensuring that, there is respect for the senior employees, and ensuring determining appropriate organizational capabilities
Government and Private Collaboration in Coping with Covid-19 in Sorong City
Research on Muhammadiyah collaboration with the government is very important, the role of the State as the only single actor capable of carrying out everything is starting to lose its relevance at this time, therefore the role of the state must be minimized and strengthen the role of the private sector. One of the problems that befell the territory of Indonesia, especially. Most of the people of Sorong city feel the impact of the covid-19 and really need help from other parties, in this case Muhammadiyah is expected to play a role in collaborating with the government in the midst of the covid-19 in Sorong City. The results of this study suggest that the Muhammadiyah association has collaborated with the government in various forms of activity including: socializing the dangers of the Covid-19 disease, distributing masks, distributing hand sanitizers, distributing basic necessities, producing and spraying disinfectants in public facilities, houses of worship, schools. And other places that are considered prone to the spread of Covid-19. Although the activities carried out between Muhammadiyah and the government are not stated in a special MOU, activity carried out by Muhammadiyah always communicates and coordinates with the city government Sorong in dealing with Covid-19
The effect of transformational leadership on employee performance with job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior as a mediation variable
This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership, job satisfaction, and organizational citizenship behavior on employee performance at the Regional Revenue Agency Office of Bali Province. The number of samples used as many as 237 respondents whose number was determined using the Slovin formula. The method of collecting data is by using interviews and questionnaires using a Likert Scale. The questionnaires as data collection method are distributed by using Google Form. The data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM PLS). The results of this study indicate that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, job satisfaction has no effect on employee performance, organizational citizenship behavior has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior, the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance is not mediated by job satisfaction, and transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance partially mediated by organizational citizenship behavior variables
Transparency of public service principles in Amantelu Village, Sirimau District, Ambon City
This research was carried out at the Amantelu Village Office, Sirimau District, Ambon City, using a single variable (monovarietal) by making critical informants, primary informants, and additional informants, with four focuses and a description of the focus. However, employees here always prioritize transparency in public services to citizens. Find out everything related to public services, such as requirements, procedures, costs, and the like; access is given as comprehensively as possible in the process of public services. Regarding the issue of employee commitment to public services, it is still not running as expected. This can be seen in the lack of or inconsistency in applying the principles of public services to citizens, especially those related to convenience and cost. In carrying out public services at the Amantelu Village Office, the community still has to meet various convoluted requirements to get services
Identification of the effectiveness of higher education marketing strategies using social media
There are many ways that universities can promote their programs and services to get the attention of prospective buyers. One strategy is to use social media to promote its products and services. Furthermore, the author believes that the successful promotion of various products owned by investment will determine the University's progress. We obtained data from publications such as comma books, journals, and several websites discussing university marketing promotion issues on social media pages to fill out this discussion. To answer this royal question, we have to go through the data analysis process by following the rules of scientific studies, including through a coding data evaluation system and drawing conclusions considering that the data we present is valid and reliable. Finally, we can conclude after reviewing the data and also in-depth discussions where we found that the effectiveness of marketing through social media for investment products and services is very appropriate and effective considering that today social media has become a place not only for young people to be friends but also a place for young people to become friends, and literature for business purposes as well as promotion including promotion of high change programs
The Vietnamese greetings in Mekong Delta, Vietnam
From long time ago, the Vietnamese have had the saying: ‘L?i chào cao h?n mâm c?’. It implied that a greeting was highly respected than being invited to enjoy a big meal although food was very rare after the wars in Vietnam. It is likely to show that greeting culture in Vietnam is not only for communication, but also for the assessment of individuals’ behaviour background. Today, in the era of technology, a greeting may create a friendlier feeling to help people become closer. This qualitative study explored how residents in Mekong Delta of Vietnam greeted each other in daily life. Their greetings reflect their identities and the culture of the community
Resistance and counter hegemony of Ma'ya tribe to bureaucratic hegemony practices in Raja Ampat, West Papua
The establishment of a regional marine conservation area in Raja Ampat is a hegemonic practice carried out by the Raja Ampat bureaucracy with conservation NGOs, such as TNC and CI which has reaped various responses. There are people who accept the presence of conservation areas and those who do not. Therefore, this study aims to reveal the resistance and counter-hegemony responses of the Ma'ya tribe in the conservation area to the practice of bureaucratic hegemony in Raja Ampat, West Papua. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection by observation, in-depth interviews, FGD and documentation, and the results of the research are presented in a descriptive narrative. The results of the study show that the resistance of the Ma'ya tribe in Raja Ampat to bureaucratic hegemony in the conservation area is through blocking and taking over the monitoring post of the conservation area; prosecution of customary land rights, and reluctance to involve themselves in conservation activities. Counter-hegemony practices are carried out through the formation of customary fishing areas and the struggle for the establishment of regional regulations regarding the rights of indigenous Ma'ya tribes
Artistic interpretation of the epic creative image
Folklore is a unique art form. It differs from the written literature in its oral, traditional, varied, collective nature. That is, folk epics, which are an example of folklore, have many variants of their own. His text is not stable. These epics, sung by the bakhshis, differ from the epics, which are an example of written literature, in these aspects, that is, in their oral assimilation, oral performance, and oral heritage. These epics change in each performance as they are sung by the performer, the bakhshis. Because bakhshi is based on the law of live performance. Epic art, that is, the epics sung by the bakhshis to understand the essence of the content; it will be necessary to have a fuller understanding of the art of witchcraft. We can learn about the bakhshis from the epics they sang. Epics such as “Alpomish”, “Manas”, “Gorogly”, and the “Book of Dada Korkut” speak of the image of the bakhshi.
