Virtual playful tools and mathematical logical thinking in EGB students

    Get PDF
The research had the purpose of demonstrating that the use of virtual playful tools and mathematical logical thinking in EGB students of the "Bachillero" Educational Unit. In this sense, a quantitative approach was proposed in order to generate statistics through the results obtained with respect to the declared variables. At the level of results, it is evident that there is significant learning when using the PhET simulator because the student can visualize the exercise three-dimensionally. The opposite occurs when the teacher explains the same exercise on the blackboard. Finally, it is proposed as conclusions that, contrary to the control group, these students achieved significant learning, since the images provided by the PhTE simulator allowed them to visualize the proposed fractional numbers in a three-dimensional way. It is worth mentioning that, with the use of this type of simulator, students also show greater motivation and interest in learning

    Get PDF
Relative value of a company is a method of determining the value of an asset by looking at the price of a comparable asset relative to common variables such as income, book value, or sales. The relative value method allows investors to make an equivalent comparison of the values of similar assets. This study aims to examine the environmental performance, managerial ownership and dividend policy on the relative value of a company. The population of this study is all companies that follow the Corporate Performance Rating Assessment Program (PROPER) and have a positive relative value listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2019-2021. The sample determination technique uses a saturated sampling technique with a sample number of 70 companies. In this study, the relative value is measured by combining the value of price to book value (PBV), price to earnings ratio (PER) and price to sales ratio (PSR). Environmental performance is measured using PROPER, managerial ownership is measured using managerial ownership (MOWN) and dividend policy is measured using dividend payout ratio (DPR). The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis

Evaluation of the cost of residential buildings with environ-mentally friendly concepts

The initial stages of construction implementation begin with planning, implementation, and operation. From each stage of the project must be with a green or environmentally friendly concept. Eco-friendly planning in residential buildings starts from the use of building materials, energy-efficient design concepts, and economical development costs. In addition, the construction of houses must also pay attention to health, such as ventilation, garbage disposal, and the provision of green environments for plants. The costs analyzed in this study refer to environmentally friendly concepts that can be applied to the construction of residential houses. Residential buildings in urban areas generally have narrow land, so that the 1st floor building built is with an area of 36 m2, 45 m2, or 60 m2. The object of research in this case is building housing built by developers in general. As for the results of field observations, that environmentally friendly concepts that can be used are land arrangement, energy saving, healthy homes, and the use of environmentally friendly materials. Design modifications from existing conditions are the addition of loster, glassblock, the use of red brick, mild steel, and modification of water taps.&nbsp

The effect of work stress and organizational culture on employee performance in service office environment Palembang Ilir west tax

    Get PDF
This research aimed to determine the effect of work stress and organizational culture on employee performance in the Palembang Ilir Barat Tax Service Office. The population in this study were all employees at KPP Pratama Palembang Ilir Barat, totaling 145 employees, and all of them were samples in the study using the census method. The results of multiple linear analyses show that work stress and organizational culture positively and significantly affect employee performance. Work stress, on the individual stressor dimension, significantly affects employee performance. There needs to be an evaluation to provide a workload following the job desk and employee responsibilities. If the work in some parts of the division has a more significant number of jobs, then it is necessary to adjust the number of employees according to the needs and workload given. With frequent leadership changes, organizational culture requires employees to get used to the established work rhythm. The change in leadership position is expected to be carried out at least 2-3 years after the change is made. The need for adaptation felt by employees causes a decrease in performance because not all employees can quickly adapt to changes in the ever-changing leadership cycle. &nbsp

Impression of ABS waste (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Strene) as an alternative material eco-friendly paving block manufacturing

    Get PDF
This research was motivated by the question of how to utilize the waste of ABS (acrylonitrile Butadiene Stryene) in the form of leftover cigarette butts produced and applied in making paving blocks. The test results are further processed and interpreted by comparing ABS waste aggregates as well as aggregate standards for normal block paving. The physical properties tests carried out in this study are: filter analysis test, moisture content test, content weight test, and specific gravity test.  Furthermore, test specimens were made for testing non-structural building materials in the form of square moulds of paving blocks with sizes a length of 21 cm, a width of 10.5 cm and a thickness of 8 cm. The compressive strength of the plan in making this concrete is 10 MPa which is placed in garden areas with light loads. Making paving block test objects using natural sand and added ABS waste in the form of cigarette butts. From the results of the concrete compressive strength test, using SNI-PD-T-04-2004-C for a composition of 0%, 2.5%, 5% and 7% qualified because the average compressive strength of 7 days is 7,1091 MPa and at 28 days is 11,008 MPa on.

It happens sometimes that culture or the tradition to which we belong weighs heavy on our shoulders, and distresses us to an extent that we lose all sense of morals and drift into decadence. In reference to literature, moral decadence designates a corrosive process or situation of deterioration and decline in society’s ethical codes and sexual morality. In her perspective to dismantle the patriarchal culture, Amma Darko exposes the moral decline to which her society is prey and points an accusing finger at the gender-oriented system. The purpose of this article is to examine how gender and the standards that go with it can influence social depravity and the mounting loss of moral values among individuals. Stressing the writer’s objectivity and her catharsis-based approach as therapy, this analysis of Amma Darko’s Faceless and Not Without Flowers allows to have an off-screen look at the hideous consequences of gender prejudice. As they want or fail to meet the demands of the sexist ideology, both male and female, central and secondary characters are revealed to find solace in illicit deeds and amorality

Looking at the existing conditions in the field and with the development of tourism facilities, it certainly requires a more accurate calculation related to the predetermined percentage of non-domestic water needs
