Budget politics in Indonesia: Processes, challenges, and economic implications

    Get PDF
Budget politics in Indonesia is a very complex process, ranging from central to local government. The budget planning process involves planning, approving, executing, and evaluating, all of which require close coordination and cooperation between institutions. The main challenges in Indonesia's budget politics are the misallocation of funds, inequality between regions, growing debt, inflation, and unstable prices. The economic implications of inefficient budget politics are far-reaching. Imbalances between revenues and expenditures can increase the debt burden and interest costs, reducing the space for productive public spending. Inequalities in budget allocations can slow economic growth and increase social inequality. In addition, uneven financial decentralization exacerbates inequality between regions. Inflation rates fuelled by increased public spending without an increase in goods and services can reduce people's purchasing power. Budget policy uncertainty also brings uncertainty for investors, which can reduce private investment and hamper economic growth. Overall, reforms in the budget distribution process, improved financial management capacity, and a commitment to inclusive and data-driven policies are urgently needed. These measures are essential to meet the challenges and ensure sustainable and equitable development for all Indonesians

    Get PDF
In the educational context, the use of physical activity as a teaching resource to generate creative learning in adolescents is commonly ignored by teachers, wasting the opportunity that, through body movement, the student can acquire significant knowledge for his life. In this context, the objective of the research was to analyze the incidence of physical activity on the creative learning of adolescents. The quantitative approach was used by collecting quantitative data and its analysis was carried out with the help of computer and statistical tools that showed the reality of the management of physical activities. A population of 129 students was considered the General Baccalaureate of the Gonzalo Abad Grijalva Educational Unit in the city of Chone, province of Manabí – Ecuador. The Results demonstrate a relevant connection between physical activity and the development of thinking skills, obtaining that the strengthening of interpersonal relationships between students, the relaxation of the body, and the promotion of health care, constitute a path for the development of creativity in the acquisition of interdisciplinary knowledge in the educational process.&nbsp

Evaluation of the implementation of integrated design and build construction contracts based on LKPP Regulation No. 12 of 2021 based on contract management body of knowledge and risk minimizing dispute claims from the service provider's perspective

    Get PDF
Infrastructure development in Indonesia is key to improving connectivity and equitable development, although it often faces project management challenges such as errors in contract documents that trigger disputes. The government has adopted the Design and Build method to accelerate construction and reduce design errors, but this method often creates more disputes than conventional methods. This study evaluates the implementation of the Integrated Design and Build Contract system in government projects based on LKPP Regulation No. 12 of 2021 and the Contract Management Body of Knowledge (CMBOK) 7th Edition, focusing on integrating contract management processes and risk analysis. Through questionnaires, expert interviews, and statistical data analysis, this study identified 10 significant high-risk risks, such as incorrect selection of design consultants, inaccurate cost estimates, and frequent design changes, although unidentified utility risks were not proven to be significant to disputes. The results of the study provide strategic recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the contract system, reduce disputes, and support the performance of infrastructure projects in Indonesia

The technological scenario has transformed the way people communicate, learn and carry out daily activities. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been proven that technology has provided many advantages, but challenges related to access and security have also been generated, making it essential to guarantee that all people have the same opportunities related to scientific access. The objective was to evaluate the use of digital didactic tools in the autonomous learning of information technology engineering students of the ULEAM Chone extension, the study was descriptive with the quantitative approach, the inductive-deductive method was applied, the review of information and the statistical method. Among the instruments used in the work, a structured survey was used for the 16 teachers and information technology students with a total population of 193 students, applying the Larry and Murray formula with a sample of 89 schoolchildren. It is concluded that digital tools offer advantages in autonomous learning such as time optimization, in addition to allowing the analysis of various investigative approaches, even though there are factors that affect the educational field for the application of digital tools such as social, cultural, political and economic

    Get PDF
The source of the success of a project in fulfilling the three aspects namely cost, quality, and time from one of the existing resources is the productivity of its workforce. The time study method is the right method used to determine the standard time of a job. The average value of productivity on column formwork is 10.65 m2/OH, beam formwork is 46.89 m2/OH, and plate formwork is 73.29 m2/OH. Column reinforcement work 204.51 kg/OH, beam reinforcement work 349.93 kg/OH, plate reinforcement work 287.57 kg/OH. Column casting work 7.96 m3/OH, beam casting work 25.31 m3/OH, plate casting work 15.81 m3/OH. Several factors greatly affect labor productivity. Comparison of the work productivity of reinforced concrete structures in the Ubud Market project based on the calculation results obtained the average productivity coefficient in the field of labor

The influence of perceived safety culture and safety knowledge on safety performance mediated by safety motivation: Study of field work partner employees at PT. PLN (Persero) Central Kalimantan Distribution Main Unit

    Get PDF
Perceived safety culture and safety knowledge are the two independent variables in this study. Safety performance is the dependent variable, and safety motivation is the mediating variable at PT. Central Kalimantan Distribution Main Unit of PLN (Persero). This research method uses a questionnaire with 101 employees of fieldwork partners at PT. PLN (Persero) Central Kalimantan Main Distribution Unit is the sample and has been selected from the population. Variable estimations utilize the LC procedure with a weight scale from 1 to 5. Utilize the partial least squares method to determine the correlation between variables X1, X2, Y, and Z. The consequences of the examination express that (1) PSC meaningfully affects SP, (2) SK affects SP, (3) SM affects SP, (4) PSC affects SM, (5) SK significantly affects SM, (6) PSC affects SP with SM Intercession and (7) SK affects SP with SM Intervention
