Purpose: The Pandemic Covid 19 has changed the learning and teaching activities where effective teaching styles are being explored to enhance the transfer of learning. The aim of this case study is to focus on students' understanding level to capture and store contents learned in their memory specifically on the university’s code subject, the Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship.
Design/Methodology/Approach: The application of the Mnemonic Keyword Method in the teaching and learning activities. It encodes the information so that it can be more easily retrieved and the sentences are transformed into catchy and simple formulas. The students were asked to participate in the online brain testing platform to determine their brain dominance and applied the relevant pedagogical strategy, the Mnemonic KeyWord Approach in the teaching settings. The https://braintest.sommer-sommer.com/en/ testing tool or platform is applied to differentiate between the left and right brains amongst the selected students.
Findings: Results revealed a strong effect of knowledge retention and the teaching tools based on the SUFO (Students Online Feedback) evaluation. Results indicate that the method is effective because it provides a meaningful formula in terms of coding, and abbreviation formulas generation.
Implications/Originality/Value: It is concluded that the keyword approach is an effective strategy for memorising and retaining knowledge. It encodes the information so that it can be more easily retrieved and the sentences are transformed into catchy and simple formulas.
Using Classkick Application to Promote Constructive Feedback in Writing Lessons
Objective: As there is a drastic change in the nature of written literacy, both tertiary level students and educators are expected to maximize the opportunities offered by digital tools like Classkick application when giving and receiving constructive feedback about their language lessons. The purpose of this study was to get feedback from the students, especially about their perceptions of Student Interaction, Student Engagement, Instructor Presence, Student Satisfaction & Perceived Learning in using ‘Classkick’ App for writing lessons as well as to get the learners’ suggestions onto how do we use ‘Classkick’ App to create more interesting lessons.
Methodology: The methods used were an adapted questionnaire named Student Learning and Satisfaction in Online Learning Environments Instrument (SLS-OLE) questionnaire and two semi-formal interview questions. 96 students from the Law Faculty at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Kampus Dengkil located in Malaysia were chosen as an informant group.
Findings: The results indicate that the most common condition concerning students’ readiness in getting constructive feedback is that students get to interact with others using this application in order for them to be engaged with the lecturer’s presence so that it will lead to students’ satisfaction in enabling the construction of their own perceived learning in online classrooms.
Implications: The main conclusion was that more constructive feedback received by the students will lead to more motivating factors to learn writing digitally
Pandemic Covid 19: The Challenges of Online Learning Among UITMs’ Students
Purpose: In 2020, the emergence of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) has led Malaysia to an unprecedented public health crisis. Due to this, all universities in Malaysia are forced to shut down any physical activities by the Government. Hence, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) had conducted an Online Distance Learning (ODL) starting on 13th April 2020 due to the spread of the Covid-19 virus. As a result, the government had to implement the Movement Control Order (MCO) to control the spread of the disease among the community. In attending online classes, a lot of challenges are faced by the students. Therefore, this study reveals out a few challenges: time management, family support and financial crisis during online learning.
Methodology: The sample of the study is 100 of UiTM students throughout Malaysia and the researchers set a form of questionnaires, distributed via google form to the respondents using convenience sampling.
Findings: SPSS is used in analyzing the data and the result shows that all independent variables (time management, family support, financial crisis) are challenges towards online learning. Implications: Thus, this study will benefit the Ministry of Education, universities and students in managing and controlling their challenges while attending online classes during Pandemic Covid 19

Purpose: The current research investigates the portrayal of the parent- children relationship in prime-time entertainment television dramas of Pakistan. Relationship between parenting style and socio-economic status of the parents has been analyzed.
Design/Methodology/Approach: Quantitative Content Analysis has been applied to measure the portrayal of parents in Drama serials. Top three entertainment channels ARY Digital, Hum TV and Geo TV were the targeted channels and parent-children based episodes were selected through purposive sampling. Out of 147 episodes, 308 scenes were selected. Scenes were coded on the predefined categories found in existing literature.
Findings: The results showed that there was not much significant relationship found between socio-economic status of the parents and their parenting style. However, generation raised by parents with high socio-economic status showed submissive behavior towards their parents while the children raised by parents with low socio-economic status showed disrespectful behavior to their parents.
Implications/Originality/Value: The findings suggest policy consideration to Pakistan Media Regulatory Authority regarding parents’ portrayal in drama serials. As respecting parents is our cultural value without any difference in socio economic status. But more materialistic approach is being projected in TV channels which need a second thought as the social norms

The Barriers to and Facilitators of Sustainable Organizational Change
As the contemporary environment is infused with change, organizations push for change, and the notions of failure and success associated with organizational change management interventions are linked to (perceived) barriers and facilitators.
Purpose - This study aims to identify barriers and facilitators in organizational change management and investigate essential dimensions to consider to improve the successful implementation of change initiatives within organizations. As two ends of a spectrum, barriers and facilitators play a crucial role in either hindering or facilitating the progress of a change intervention. While barriers can impede organizational change success, they can also serve as facilitators.
Research Design - A literature review of over forty (forty) articles was conducted to determine how and how scholars have identified the variables contributing to the success or impeding change efforts. The study was conducted using a descriptive exploratory approach to identify variables considered barriers to or facilitators of change.
Findings - Based on descriptive analysis, the findings from the literature search were categorized under three (three) themes: 1/ Self; 2/ Social Support; and 3/ Organizational Support. A deeper understanding of each theme was achieved by categorizing it further into subcategories aligned with the given theme.
Value - This article provides a unique perspective on why planned interventions do not always consider the identified variables and, as a result, struggle to effect organizational change. By understanding factors that have a direct impact on change and assisting leaders and employees, this article provides a pathway for success in organizational change
