The teachings of Jesus serve as an example for the church to nurture and prepare for the future of the Church as heirs of the Kingdom of God (James 2:5). However, in reality, many parents, elders, and church members neglect the educational patterns and faith-building processes for children and youth. This study aims to assess the level of teaching of the Word of God for the TYF "Youth Light" children, their understanding of the Bible, and the relationship between the two at Bethel Tabernacle Alfa Omega Church in Sampit, Central Kalimantan. Teaching is a process of learning and teaching, where the teacher's role is to manage teaching effectively and dynamically, while the students actively engage in self-transformation. Understanding the Bible for youth is crucial to protect them from false teachings, enhance their wisdom, and enable them towards salvation. This research uses a quantitative method with descriptive and correlational approaches. The results indicate that the level of teaching the Word of God and the understanding of the Bible among youth in this church is very good, with a score of 91%. The third hypothesis test shows a strong correlation between the teaching of the Word of God by the instructor and the understanding of the Bible, with a correlation coefficient of 74.6%. Thus, the teaching of the Word of God by the instructor affects the understanding of the Bible among youth at the church

Implikasi Hukum Batalnya Perjanjian Nominee:Perbandingan Konskuensi PMH dalam Sengketa Properti Eigendom di Indonesia dan Belanda

    Get PDF
This research focuses on the comparative aspects between Indonesia and the Netherlands in facing the challenges of illegal acts committed by foreign nationals. A nominee agreement is an agreement that illegally sells or lends the identity of a local citizen, which can benefit both parties, especially foreign nationals who can purchase assets in the form of land in a country. Nominee agreements or borrowing names in property or land ownership in Indonesia are included as Unlawful Acts (PMH) under Article 1365 of the Civil Code. This is because such actions are considered legal smuggling that has the aim of avoiding or violating the Basic Agrarian Law, particularly the Principle of Nationality. If nominee agreements continue to be normalized, the economy and land in a country could be threatened by illegal ownership owned by foreign nationals. Using normative legal research methods, this research uses cross-country comparisons of regulations, rules, and how governments respond to the process of illegal identity lending. &nbsp

Delays and cost deviations remain common challenges in construction projects, particularly in government-funded projects where administrative and regulatory dynamics can influence implementation. This study aims to evaluate the time and cost performance of the construction of the Social Service Building of East Nusa Tenggara Province using the Earned Value Management (EVM) method integrated with Microsoft Project. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach based on primary data from weekly progress reports and field observations, as well as secondary data such as the S-curve, Work Plan and Requirements (RKS), and unit price analyses. A total of 1,200 project activities were reconstructed in Microsoft Project to develop detailed scheduling, resource assignments, baseline estimation, and performance tracking. The results indicate that the project experienced significant delays at Week 34, with a Schedule Variance of –54.87% and a Schedule Performance Index of 0.45. However, the project remained under budget, reflected by a Cost Variance of 0.64% and a Cost Performance Index of 1.01. Projection analysis estimates that the project will be completed in Week 76, indicating substantial schedule slippage, although the cost at completion is predicted to remain below the original budget

Kedudukan Hukum Pengaturan Nominee dalam Sistem Hukum Perseroan di Indonesia

    Get PDF

Pit Viper Venom-Induced Coagulopathy: Mandatory Antivenom, Avoidance of Anticoagulants, and Selective Transfusion

    Get PDF
Venom-induced consumption coagulopathy (VICC) is a life-threatening complication following pit viper bites and remains a significant health concern in Southeast Asia. VICC has a distinct pathophysiology compared to typical disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), requiring a tailored management approach. This case highlights the successful treatment of severe VICC following a red-tailed green viper bite. A 64-year-old woman presented with left hand swelling three days after a red-tailed green viper bite to the wrist. She also had vomiting and fever on first day. She was alert and hemodynamically stable. Laboratory tests revealed severe thrombocytopenia (50 x 10³/μL), markedly elevated D-dimer (>10,000 ng/mL), and prolonged coagulation times. Complications included acute kidney injury, elevated liver enzymes, and gross hematuria. She received an initial dose of 2 vials of antivenom with close monitoring. As her coagulopathy progressed, additional antivenom was administered every 8 hours. Her condition began improving on day five without requiring blood transfusion. Unlike typical DIC, VICC should be managed primarily with antivenom, which neutralizes circulating venom and halts further coagulopathy. Anticoagulants are contraindicated, as pit viper venom contains both procoagulant and anticoagulant components that can worsen bleeding. The use of blood products in VICC is selective and symptom-based. Fresh frozen plasma (FFP) may be considered in patients with active bleeding or severe coagulopathy, thrombocyte concentrate (TC) is indicated if thrombocytopenia persists despite adequate antivenom, and packed red cells (PRC) are reserved for life-threatening anemia. VICC is a distinct coagulopathy requiring prompt antivenom administration, careful avoidance of anticoagulants, and judicious use of transfusions

Exploring spatial and energy planning in addressing complexities of electricity blackout for sustainable development in Soweto, South Africa

    No full text
Paper presented at the International Conference on Energy Systems, Cairo, Egypt, 29-30 AprilNavigating complexities of blackouts that significantly threatened sustainable supply of electricity, over 15 years in South Africa is paramount. This paper investigates the intricate interplay between spatial and energy planning, examining how rapid population growth and changing family structures in townships influence the demand and supply of energy. Conducted as a qualitative study, the research employs purposive and convenience nonprobability sampling. Data collection methods include observations, photographs, questionnaires, and interviews, with content and discourse analysis. The inefficiency of Eskom, coupled with issues such as theft and inadequate infrastructure capacity, exacerbates the unsustainability of electricity supply. The failure to replace, upgrade, and construct more efficient infrastructure is attributed to incompetence and corruption in the energy sector, contributing to lack of effective spatial and energy planning. The paper underscores the importance of improved service delivery and infrastructure upgrades to meet the growing demand, ultimately ensuring the sustainable distribution of electricity in Soweto.N/
