Budaya Kerentanan dan Kapasitas Masyarakat Menghadapi Bencana Gempa Bumi dan Tsunami (Kajian Masyarakat Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai Sumatera Barat)
No full textSalah satu hal yang dapat mengancam keamanan negara adalah tingginya kejadian bencana. Berdasarkan penelitian, para ahli memperkirakan masih banyak kejadian bencana diantaranya gempa bumi besar yang berisiko terjadinya tsunami mengancam di wilayah Indonesia, khususnya di Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai yang merupakan siklus gempa 200 tahunan. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk pengurangan risiko bencana adalah dengan mengetahui budaya yang ada di masyarakat, kerentanan, dan kapasitas masyarakat dalam menghadapi bencana. Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah untuk memetakan budaya masyarakat terkait dengan bencana dan menganalisis kondisi kerentanan dan kapasitas masyarakat dari aspek sosial, fisik, ekonomi, dan lingkungan. Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan di dua desa, yaitu Desa Maileppet dan Desa Tuapeijat. Kajian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi dan alat bantu VCA (Vulnerability and Capacity Analysis) yang digunakan untuk memudahkan memetakan kerentanan dan kapasitas. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan Uma, sebagai rumah tradisionil merupakan hasil pengetahuan masyarakat Mentawai yang dapat mengurangi risiko bencana. Tutur dan cerita merupakan cara orang Mentawai untuk menurunkan nasihat nenek moyang. Kajian ini juga memperlihatkan pada sebagian besar aspek sosial, ekonomi, fisik, dan lingkungan masyarakat Desa Tuapeijat dan Desa Maileppet berada dalam kondisi rentan dan tidak memiliki kapasitas cukup untuk menghadapi bencana
Effective Treatment in Reducing Pain in Patients With Musculoskeletal Pain Complaints
Get PDFMusculoskeletal problems are complaints on the parts of the skeletal muscles felt by someone start complaints very mild to very sick. When the muscle receives static load repeatedly and for a long time will may cause complaints of damage to the joints, ligaments and tendons. Complaints to the damage this is what is usually termed the complaint musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) or injury to the musculoskeletal system (Grandjean, 1993; Lemasters, 1996). This study aims to know a more effective treatment of electrotherapy and deep massage with massage than picking up, in reducing pain in patients with musculoskeletal pain complaints. This study used a quasi-experimental design (quasi experimental) double blind with a value of 5% negligent. This research was conducted at the Rumah Fisio Clinic and Patient’s home. These samples included 25 patients, with medical diagnosis of musculoskeletal pain who underwent physiotherapy program from May to July 2016, was taken by randomization techniques. Pain was measured by using Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). The results of the analysis of the t test showed that electrotherapy and deep massage (mean = 3.18) more effective than Picking up (mean = 2) in reducing the patient's pain..Keywords: Musculoskeletal pain , electrotheraphy , deep massage , picking up

Get PDFAbstractMarketing is a company’s active effort of to introduce the company and their products to its consumers. The rapid growth of technology, especially internet, encourage the use of the website in marketing field. Website complements in conventional marketing such as TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, electronic media, banners, billboards, personal relationships, etc. There are six ways for consumers to access company’s website, typing website address directly, through a link on another website, using through search engine, through social link, via email link received by consumers, and through an advertising link viewed by consumers. This study aims to determine patterns or compositions used by visitors to access the nine hospital’s websites in Depok. The method of collecting data using secondary data obtained from www.pagerank.net. Data was taken on April 25, 2016. Results of the study revealed that the pattern of consumers in accessing hospital’s website in Depok is through search engines, followed by a link on another website and typing the website address directly.The other three ways are not used as traffic sources.Keyword; Traffic sources, website address, link search, social
THE EFFECT OF SOCIAL MEDIA E-MARKETING TOWARDS CONSUMERS SHOPPING BEHAVIOR
Get PDFAbstract: As the numbers of Internet users increase, the trend of online transactions also increase. E- marketing is one of a selling strategy using social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Whatsapp, BBM and LinkedIn. The purpose of this study was to analyze the simultaneous and partial effect of E-Marketing to the shopping behavior of respondents. Data were obtained from questionnaires given to 100 student respondents of Indonesian vocational education. The analytical method used in this research is the t test and F test using SPSS 17. Based on results of the study it is found that three factors affected shopping behavior of these respondents through their online transaction via social media, namely accessibility, currency and interactivity. All e-marketing variables influenced the behavior of consumers. However, there are also some e-marketing variables affecting shopping behavior of respondents in different factors. From the cultural factor, shopping behavior is influenced by the accessibility and currency variables, while an effected variable linked to personal factors is accessibility alone. For psychological factors, the only effecting variable is interactivity. The Isolation DNA Chromosomal DNA from Local Isolate of Aeromonas hydrophila Bacteria from East Java
Get PDFAeromoniasis is a bacterial disease caused by Aeromonas hydrophila that affects fish and shrimps in ponds and aquariums. This is an ulcer disease that causes petechiae in scales of fish and may be fatal. It can cause economic loss if it is not treated with medication accompanied with improved sanitation. It affects numerous freshwater fish farms in East Java. A previous study has characterized an antigenic protein derived from the outer membrane protein of A. hydrophila. In order to perform sequencing of the DNA coding for this protein, we first conducted a study for isolating DNA fragments of A. hydrophila via four stages: cultivation and harvesting of bacterial cells, cell lysis, DNA purification, and the concentration of chromosomal DNA. Get PDFAbstractThis research aims to determine the implications of the tax change component in the income tax to the persistence and forecasting of future earnings, and also comparing the effect of tax changes component in initial earning with the tax change component in revised earnings, in order to know which are more persistent. Using all companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the year 2010-2013 as the samples, this research showed that the tax change component in income tax empirically proven to have a persistent effect on future earnings. And compared with tax change component in initial earnings, value of tax change component in revised earnings are better and persistent in forecast earnings.Keyword;Earning persistence, effective tax rates, interim financial reporting

Stroke is brain attack due to vascular injury that can damage the brain permanently because of neurologist disorder. The purpose of this intervention is to improve patient's ability to wear bras according to Occupation Therapy's view. The method that will be used to improve the patient ability who suffer from function disorder, movement, and control due to the lesion in the central nerve system is Bobath Concept. By giving eight times intervention, it can be seen that there is improvement postural control and less pain in the shoulder area when it moved. Get PDFUsaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) yang berkembang begitu pesat dari tahun ke tahun telah menimbulkan kewajiban perpajakan bagi pelaku usaha tersebut. Untuk membantu Wajib Pajak UMKM pemerintah pada tahun 2013 telah mengeluarkan Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) nomor 46. Setelah beberapa tahun dilaksanakan kini pemerintah telah mengeluarkan penyempurnaan dari peraturan tersebut yakni dengan mengeluarkan PP No. 23 Tahun 2018. Peraturan ini dikeluarkan untuk memberikan keringanan tarif bagi para pelaku usaha UMKM. Namun PP yang disahkan pada pertengahan tahun 2018 ini dirasakan masih kurang sosialisasi kepada para wajib pajak. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pemahaman para wajib pajak terkait implementasi aturan tersebut.Kata kunci: Pajak, UMKM, Peraturan Pemerintah, Implementasi dan Sosialisas
