Systematic Review: Current Findings and Trends in the Study of the Relationship Between Physical Activity and Life Satisfaction
The article deals with current trends in the academic environment in the measurement of physical activity and lifestyle and the relationship between these two phenomena. The authors focused on evaluating the measurement of physical activity in academic research and comparing subjective and objective methods. The article also describes the concept of life satisfaction and its measurement methods in articles. At the end, the authors described the relationship between the two observed phenomena based on the literature search. The findings suggest that while physical activity is generally associated with higher life satisfaction, the strength and nature of this relationship vary depending on measurement methods, age groups, and cultural contexts, emphasising the need for careful interpretation and further research

Climate change in Arctic terrestrial ecosystems with particular attention to the vegetation of Svalbard
In the last four decades, warming in the Arctic has been much faster than in the rest of the World. The average air temperature in the Arctic has already risen at a rate of almost four times the global average. On average, the Arctic is now approximately 3°C warmer than it was in 1980. Different Arctic regions – Svalbard in particular – warm faster than any other region on Earth. Such warming has consequences for terrestrial ecosystems. Since plant growth and development are closely linked to the temperature of spring and summer, the early onset of vegetation is one of the most remarkable consequences. Moreover, recent evidence from satellite data suggests there is a temperature-induced increase in growth rate and biomass production of Svalbard vegetation; plant species that dominate the tundra communities are growing taller and more densely. In this chapter, we present an analysis of climatic characteristics recorded at the Adventdalen weather station (operated by The University Centre in Svalbard) with particular attention to vegetation cover. In Adventdalen, community types form five groups of vegetation: (a) sparsely vegetated areas on dry subsoil, (b) sparsely vegetated areas on moist substrate, (c) densely vegetated areas on dry substrate, (d) densely vegetated areas on substrate and (e) areas of organic material. The period of 2011–2020 was analysed, and relations between climatic drivers were evaluated. The presented data support the idea of fast ongoing warming of the Svalbard terrestrial ecosystems
Francouzská sekce podzemní univerzity v Brně (1985-1989): paralelní vzdělávání pod dohledem StB
The aim of this article is to map the beginning of the so-called underground university, represented by housing seminars which existed in Brno in the years 1985–1989, and to describe the information known by Czechoslovak security forces about the activities of the French section of the underground university in Brno. It was created as a result of the work of the author, who has been dealing with this topic in pursuance of his diploma thesis. In this period the French Association Jan Hus was sending the leading French academicians to give lectures in the unofficial housing seminars. The article focuses mainly on safety of these seminars because it was the most important parameter. After the brief introduction the original security concept invented by Jiří Müller, coordinator of the activities, is described. Then this paper examines two complicated crossings of borders when the French visitors Nathalie Roussarie and Yves Geffroy were stopped in customs office. Finally, the information known by State Security (StB) about the activities of the Association Jan Hus in Brno are described and analysed and some possible reasons why the security forces never intervened against these activities are presented. When collecting materials, the author mainly used the sources of Security Service Archive (Kanice, Czech Republic), the archive La Contemporaine (Nanterre, France) and interviews with witnesses and furthermore, previously published works
Třídní konflikt v barokních kulisách. Selská vzpoura a zbojnická revolta v historickém filmu a její aktualizační potenciál
The study focuses on depictions of class conflicts during the Baroque period in Czech and Slovak historical films. Czech filmmakers chose as the subject of their films primarily the peasant uprising of the so-called Psohlavci (Dogheads) in 1695. Slovak filmmakers chose mainly the theme of robbery for their films, specifically the character of the robber Juraj Jánošík, who was executed in 1713. All film adaptations are based on Czech and Slovak historical myths. In these myths, peasant rebels and robbers are perceived as folk heroes and representatives of positive values. The study also examines the political use and abuse of these topics in the 20th century and today. Films are a mirror of historical memory. However, films can also become a source of historical memory and, secondarily, help shape the group identity of a national community
