    Utilization Of Website-Based Technology For Analysis And Prevention Of Stunting Using The Fuzzy Tsukamoto Methods

    Stunting is a chronic malnutrition condition that has significant impact on inhibiting the growth of a child both physically and intellectually. The study aims toto analyze stunts using a web-based technology system using Tsukamoto’s Fuzzy method. This method was chosen for its ability to deal with the uncertainty and variability medical data. The system integrates various variables that affect stunts, such as nutritional intake and physical growth, to produce a more accurate diagnosis. The research was carried out by collecting data from various health sources and applying the fuzzy Tsukamoto method to process the data. The trial subjects in this developmental study were 30 children aged 1–60 months, or 0–5 years. Subjects were selected by random sampling, consisting of 6 children from 1–5 years of age each. Based on the results of the analysis, it appears that the fuzzy Tsukamoto-based system development trial can provide a better prediction of the risk of stunting in children compared to conventional methods. Using this approach, it is expected to help health workers take more accurate steps in the treatment and prevention of stunts.     Data Mining Analysis In Minimizing Company Losses Using Fuzzy Time Series Method

    Losses are the most avoided by all business entities in this case the research obtained a research study at PT. Sumatera Sarana Sekar Sakti. The company suffered a big loss in the expenditure / spending section that was not managed properly. The existence of excess funds or shortages in each company's expenditure is a form of loss, not only in the form of material but even immaterial. Therefore, this research conducts an analysis by generating data predictions so that a value is obtained that will minimize company losses because it provides the right and efficient funds. The method used in prediction is Fuzzy Time Series. It is a new category of methods that have been widely used in various studies because they produce good predictive values. In this study, the Fuzzy Time Series method produces 0.82% error rate from data analysis of 1875 company expenditure transactions. Measurement of the prediction error rate using Mean Absolute Percentage Error which is often called MAPE. It is a measurement that is often used in various studies with data prediction categories

    Application Of Support Vector Machine Method To Predict Heart Disease

    Heart attack disease is when the arteries are blocked by fatty deposits This results in symptoms like chest discomfort and dyspnea. Furthermore, Damage to the heart muscle can result from obstructed or reduced blood flow to the heart. Heart attack disease remains Indonesia’s greatest cause of death as of right now. The current problem is that it is very difficult to predict heart disease and identify heart disease. The right method is needed to predict heart disease. The purpose of this study was to calculate the level of accuracy of the Support Vector Machine method in predicting heart attack disease. The research findings and data analysis conducted utilizing the Support Vector Machine algorithm yielded an accuracy rate of 91.8%. Thus, it can be said that in comparison to the K-Nearest Neighbor approach, the support vector machine algorithm is superior in predicting the development of heart attack disease, which achieved an accuracy of 88%, and Logistic Regression, which achieved 83% accuracy.     Microplastic: Characteristics, exposure pathways, toxicity, and implication for human health

    Microplastics particles ranging from 1 µm to 5 mm, have gained attention for their omnipresence in marine environments and potential health risks. Initially recognized in the 1990s, microplastics are classified as primary (designed for microscopic dimensions) or secondary (resulting from degradation). Exposure pathways include ingestion, inhalation, and dermal contact, with sources ranging from food and beverages to personal care products. These particles possess unique properties, facilitating their interaction with organic contaminants and potential bioaccumulation in marine life. Their small size allows them to infiltrate ecosystems, raising concerns about their impacts on human health. Studies suggest associations between microplastic exposure and health issues such as inflammatory bowel disease and neurodevelopmental. Microplastics exhibit toxicity through mechanisms like oxidative stress induction and disruption of neurotransmitter levels. They have been detected in human tissues, including the brain, raising concerns about potential neurological impacts. To comprehend the effects on health over time, additional research is required, including biopersistence and tissue accumulation. Regulatory measures and consumer awareness initiatives are crucial to mitigate microplastic pollution and minimize health risks. Strategies to reduce plastic production, enhance recycling, and develop microplastic removal technologies are vital for protecting both human health and the environment. In summary, microplastics pose significant health risks due to their widespread presence and potential toxicity. Understanding their impacts and implementing effective mitigation strategies are essential for safeguarding human health and environmental integrity

    Diagnosis and imaging of diaphragmatic eventration: A case report

    Background: Diaphragmatic eventration is a rare disorder that is typically found by accident in asymptomatic patients with a raised hemidiaphragm on chest X-rays. Both acquired and developmental defects can cause diaphragmatic eventration. The imaging methods for diaphragmatic eventration are numerous. Chest radiography should be done when there is clinical suspicion; this can be further confirmed with a chest computed tomography (CT). Case presentation: We present a case of a 37 years old woman with a left sided diaphragm eventration presenting as dyspnea and epigastrical discomfort. The diagnosis was made with chest x-ray and then confirmed with a chest CT scans. Discussion: There are several modalities to choose in diaphragmatic imaging. Chest x-ray is the main imaging method for diagnosing diaphragm eventration, in rare cases, a eventration needs to be differentiated using CT or MRI. Other imaging methods such as fluoroscopy and ultrasonography may be used in some instances to assess diaphragm function. Conclusions: There are various methods available in the field of diaphragmatic imaging. Certain methods, like CT and plain chest radiographs, concentrate on the anatomic anomalies of the diaphragm that may indicate dysfunction. Some instruments, including fluoroscopy and ultrasonography, are more appropriate for functional imaging

    Antibacterial test of secondary metabolites of Rhizosphere bacterial isolates of cat whisker against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus

    The rhizosphere is the zone between the root surface and soil. Rhizosphere bacteria can produce metabolites that are antibacterial because they produce phytotherapeutic compounds that have the same properties as those produced by the plant. The purpose of this study was to isolate secondary metabolite compounds from the rhizosphere bacteria of cats’ whisker plants (Orthosiphon stamineus) as antibacterial agents against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. This study began with the isolation of rhizosphere bacteria, purification, bacterial characterization, bacterial fermentation, and antibacterial tests. The results of the isolation of Orthosiphon stamineus rhizosphere bacteria obtained as many as six isolates, with each isolate coded as RKK-1, RKK-2, RKK-3, RKK-4, RKK-5, and RKK-6. The results showed that RKK-5 had an inhibition zone against Escherichia coli with a diameter of 8.5 mm. Based on these results, it can be concluded that RKK-5 has a moderate response to Escherichia coli

    Analysis of the potential of memelong leaves (Philodendron giganteum) as an antioxidant and antimicrobial

    Ornamental plants are plants whose main function is to decorate. Many ornamental plants have benefits, one of which is the Philodendron plant. It is important to know the benefits of antioxidants and antimicrobials that ornamental plants have and can be used to improve health. The research aimed to determine the potential of Memelong (Philodendron giganteum) as an antioxidant and antimicrobial. The research carried out was empirical research at the FKKGIK UNPRI Laboratory for 1 month. The samples used were all Memelong leaves. Memelong leaf extract is made by maceration. Next, carry out phytochemical tests including alkaloid testing, flavonoid content testing, saponin testing, testing for the presence of tannins, and testing for triterpenoids and steroids. The antioxidant activity test was carried out using the DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) method. The antimicrobial activity test was carried out using the paper disc diffusion method. Data analysis using univariate presented in the form of tables and graphs descriptively. The results of this study have potential as antioxidants based on antioxidant tests using the DPPH method with sample concentrations of 400 ppm 14%, 600 ppm 16%, 800 ppm 19%, and 1000 ppm 27%, but the results are still smaller when compared to the vitamin C test results. However, in the antibacterial activity test on Memelong leaf extract, there was no inhibition zone in the 25% formulation, an average of 0.50%, an average of 0.75%, an average of 0, the K(+) was found to be an average of 18,85 diameter of inhibition zone. The research conclusion is that the leaves of Memelong are proven to contain antioxidants

    Urgent release of constriction band syndrome of the leg with single-stage Z-plasty procedure in neonates: A case series

    The congenital constriction band syndrome (CCBS) is a group of fetal abnormalities with myriad of clinical presentation that is characterized by the presence of a fibrous band that encircles fetal tissues in utero. It is a rare disease with a reported incidence of 1/15,000 live births. The disease is treated with release of the constricting band with Z-plasty, where it is classically done as a two-stage procedure. Single stage z-plasty is a relatively new approach that still needs more reports regarding to its result. Our cases described successful release with a single stage Z-plasty reconstruction in the setting of an urgent surgery in neonates aged less than 48 hours

    Using "make a match" methods for improving knowledge and preventive attitudes toward flour albus among adolescent

    Reproductive health issues remain prevalent among adolescents due to limited access to information. Fluor albus is a common concern among women. Global surveys indicate that approximately 75% of women experience at least one episode of abnormal vaginal discharge during their lifetime. Promotive and preventive interventions, including targeted health education, are crucial to improve adolescents' knowledge and attitudes regarding reproductive health and hygiene. This study investigated the effectiveness of the "Make a Match" educational method in enhancing knowledge and attitudes about leukorrhea prevention among adolescent girls. This quasi-experimental pre-posttest control group study examined the impact of the "Make a Match" method. The study population comprised female adolescents in Sitinjak Sub-district, South Tapanuli Regency. A total sample of 30 participants was recruited using total sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires, posters, and leaflets. Data analysis involved paired t-tests and Wilcoxon signed-rank tests. The results of the Wilcoxon tests revealed statistically significant differences in knowledge and attitude scores before and after the intervention (p < 0.001 for both variables). These findings demonstrate a significant improvement in both knowledge and attitudes related to leukorrhea prevention following the "Make a Match" health education intervention (p < 0.05). In conclusion, this study provides evidence that the "Make a Match" health education method effectively enhances knowledge and attitudes regarding leukorrhea prevention among adolescent girls. These findings underscore the need for enhanced community-based health education programs, particularly for adolescents, focusing on reproductive health

    Toddlerhood is the most important period in the life cycle, because at the age of 0 to 5 years toddlers experience physical, mental and behavioral development.Stunting is a condition where a child experiences growth disorders, so that the child's height does not match his age, as a result of chronic nutritional problems, namely lack of nutritional intake for a long time. Based on a preliminary study in April, it is found that most mothers did not know for sure about stunting in toddlers. Research Objective: To determine the characteristics and knowledge of mothers about stunting in toddlers aged 36-60 months. Research Method: This type of research is descriptive. The sampling technique was probability sampling with purposive techniques. The location of this research is. With 35 respondents. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire, Research Results: The results show that out of 35 Respondents, there are Respondents in the category of good knowledge 13 respondents (37,14%), the category of sufficient knowledge 9 Respondents (26,5%), and the category of low knowledge 13 respondents (37,14%). Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it shows that the highest percentage aspect is good and low knowledge.. Health workers are expected to increase counseling in clinics so that mothers' knowledge about stunting in toddlers increases and invite mothers to seek information from health workers
