PjBL with Kahoot Media on Grade X Students’ Biology Interest at SMAN 1 Wundulako
Learning at SMAN 1 Wundulako remains centered on lectures and textbooks. Although media such as PowerPoint and Canva have been used, their utilization has not been optimal. As a result, students tend to be passive and show low learning interest. Therefore, there is a need for innovative learning models and interactive media to enhance students' interest in learning. This study aims to examine the effect of implementing Project-Based Learning assisted by Kahoot media on students’ learning interest in biology. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The research design used was a posttest-only control group design. Instruments used to measure students' learning interest included questionnaires and interview sheets. Data were analyzed using a parametric test, namely the independent sample t-test, at a significance level of 0.05. The results of the hypothesis testing indicate a significant effect of Project-Based Learning assisted by Kahoot media on students’ learning interest in biology among Grade X students at SMAN 1 Wundulako. It can be concluded that the implementation of Project-Based Learning supported by Kahoot media can help improve students’ interest in learning biology in Grade X at SMAN 1 Wundulako.Keywords: Learning Interest, Project-Based Learning, Kahoot-Assisted Medi
The Effectiveness of the Contextual Learning Model Assisted by Hands On Student Learning Outcomes
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the contextual learning model assisted by hands on problem solving in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes. The population in this study were all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Latambaga. Sampling in this study used cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out by giving tests in the form of description tests and non-tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with hypothesis testing using independent t-test. The results of inferential research using the t-test have been obtained value  or H, rejected. This shows that the contextual learning model assisted by hands on problem solving is effective in improving student learning outcomes
Self-Regulated Learning During the Covid-19 Pandemic
Along with the change in learning modes during the pandemic, which was originally face-to-face directly to online learning, where teacher control is decreasing, Self-Regulated Learning is a very important variable for students to have so that students can still learn even without teacher supervision. The purpose of this study was to describe the Self-Regulated Learning of 20 students who took the Learning and Learning course in the even semester of 2020/2021 FY. The method used in this research is that after participating in online learning through WhatsApp, Google Classroom, and Google Meet, at the end of the semester students are given a Self-Regulated Learning questionnaire through Google Forms and interviews. The research data were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis. The results of the study found that the score of Self-Regulated Learning was 88.28% from what was expected, there were 85% of students in the very good category, and 15% in the sufficient category. The highest indicator is self-control at 91.25%. While the indicator score of the lowest Self-Regulated Learning is self-confidence of 83.75%. The conclusion of this research is that students' Self-Regulated Learning is already in the very good category but has not yet reached the highest score and there are still students in the fairly good category, so that it can still be increased to close to the expected 100%.  Keywords:   Self-Regulated Learning, online learning, pandemi
PROFILE OF STORY PROBLEM SOLVING OF THE TANGENT LINE ON THE CIRCLE BY STUDENTS OF CLASS IX E SMPN 5 PALU
Penyelesaian soal cerita oleh siswa perlu diprofilkan agar guru dapat mengetahui gambaran atau gambaran kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh profil penyelesaian soal cerita garis singgung sekolah lingkaran oleh siswa kelas IX E SMPN 5 Palu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa subjek berkemampuan matematika tinggi (SH) mampu mengerjakan soal dengan benar sebagai langkah-langkah penyelesaian soal cerita. Kemudian hasil penyelesaian subjek berkemampuan matematika sedang (EZ) menunjukkan adanya penyelesaian yang belum selesai sehingga jawaban yang diperoleh salah. Kemudian hasil penyelesaian subjek berkemampuan matematika rendah (FR) menunjukkan tidak mampu menyelesaikan soal sebagaimana langkah-langkah penyelesaian soal cerita sehingga jawaban yang diperoleh salah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut peneliti menarik kesimpulan bahwa profil penyelesaian soal cerita siswa berbeda-beda berdasarkan kemampuan matematika siswa. Completion of story problems by students needs to be profiled so that teachers can know the description or description of students' abilities in solving story problems. This study aims to obtain a profile of the completion of the circle tangent story problem by students of class IX E SMPN 5 Palu. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through written tests and interviews. The results of this study showed that SH was able to do the problem correctly as the steps of solving the story problem. Then the results of EZ's solution show that there is an unfinished solution so that the answer obtained is wrong. Then the results of FR's completion showed that he was unable to solve the problem as the steps of solving the story problem so that the answer obtained was incorrect. Based on the results of this study, the researcher draws the conclusion that the profile of solving students' story problems varies based on students' mathematical abilities
ANALYSIS OF MATHEMATICAL CREATIVE THINKING BASED ON THE SELF-CONFIDENCE OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Creative thinking skills were important for students to have to solve math problems appropriately. This article aims to provide an overview of junior high school students ability to think creatively. The images to be studied are related to students' abilities for fluency, flexibility, and originality. The topic in this article is the seventh-grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah Special Program Kottabarat Surakarta, with a total of 16 students who will be categorized based on high, medium, and low self-convidence. The data collection technique used a test in the form of five description questions in the material of rectangular flat building problems and interviews. The method used is the descriptive approach. The data analysis techniques in this article are based on Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results show that students' creative thinking skills are divided into 3 categories: 6% in the high category, 75% in the medium category, and 19% in the low category. This result shows that students ability to think creatively in solving rectangular flat problems is relatively easy, which means that their capacity to solve rectangular flat problems based on creative thinking steps hasn't been maximized
Improving Students' Mathematics Learning Outcomes Through the Cooperative Learning Webbed Model at the Second Grade of SMP Negeri 3 Kolaka
This study aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIIB students of SMP Negeri 3 Kolaka through the Webbed type of cooperative learning model. This type of research is classroom action research with research procedures covering planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The implementation of the action consists of 2 cycles. Each cycle is carried out in accordance with the changes to be achieved and adjusted to the factors being investigated. Sources of research data are teachers and students of class VIIB, totaling 25 students. The types of data obtained are quantitative data obtained from learning outcomes tests and qualitative data obtained through observation sheets. The results of the study refer to the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), namely at least 80% of students have obtained a minimum score of 70. From the results of the evaluation of the first cycle of action, classical completeness achieved is 63.6% (14 students from 25 students) who get a score of 70 with an average value of 68.4. From the results of the second cycle test evaluation, classical completeness was obtained as much as 86.4% (19 students from 25 students) obtained a score of 70 with an average value of 78.2. The implementation of the second cycle of action gave an increase of 22.8% from the first cycle evaluation test. So it was concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIIB students of SMP Negeri 3 Kolaka could be improved through the webbed type of cooperative learning model
The Improvement Of Mathematics Learning Outcomes With Think Pair Share Cooperative Learning Model
In the process of mathematics learning, many students are less active, many are noisy, the work given is not completed, and the results of student evaluations are not satisfactory. For this reason, appropriate learning improvements are needed, namely by applying the think pair share cooperative learning model. This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes through think pair share cooperative learning method (think, pair, share) for Marsudirini Perawang  elementary school students. The research subjects were students of grade 3 (three) totaling 30 people. The type of research is classroom action research. The research procedure consisted of planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The research instruments are learning tools and data collection tools (test sheets and student observation sheets).  The results showed that the students' scores had increased very well from 0% then 10% to 26%. In the daily test score of 1, the number of students who achieved the very good category increased by 10%. Meanwhile, in the daily test score of 2, the number of students who achieved the very good category increased to 26%. The average score of students on the second daily test increased above the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) that had been determined by the school (7370). Student activities in the aspects of answering questions, discussing student worksheets and reporting discussion results have increased. In the first cycle the average was 17.3% and 35.3%. While in the second cycle it rose to 53% and 73.3%. Overall, the average student activity in the first cycle was 18.12% and in the second cycle 63.33%. Thus, the application of think pair share cooperative learning model can improve mathematics learning outcomes in grade 3 (three) elementary school students
Development of E-LKPD Using Live Worksheets for Online Mathematics Learning during Covid-19
This study aims to obtain e-LKPD using a valid, practical, and effective live worksheet on derived material. This type of development research aims to produce a product in the form of e-LKPD. The development of live worksheet-based e-LKPD is carried out through ADDIE design development steps consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The test subjects in this study were Class XI students at SMA Negeri 8 Kendari in 2021. The data collection instruments in this study consisted of a validation sheet used to determine the validity of the e-LKPD, a response questionnaire on the use of e-LKPD was used to obtain information on the practicality of e-LKPD, and learning outcomes tests to determine the effectiveness of e-LKPD. The results showed that (1) the validation results with an average score of 4.04 which means that the live worksheet-based e-LKPD is in very valid criteria and is feasible to use (2) The results of the analysis of student responses to the use of e-LKPD show that the average The student's class response is 80.3 which means the class response is positive and is included in the practical category. (3) There is a difference between the pre-test and post-test values, which means that there is an effect of using e-LKPD on learning outcomes. Thus the live worksheet-based e-LKPD is valid, practical, and effective
Critical Thinking Analysis of Students in Problem Based Mathematics Learning through TBLA
Mathematics is related to numbers and formulas, as well as its abstract nature. So that understanding it is not by memorizing. It requires the ability to solve mathematical problems. In solving mathematical problems it requires critical thinking skills. Problem-based learning is the right way to train students to think critically, so problem-based learning according to the purpose of improving critical thinking. To find out problem-based learning is able to improve students' critical thinking skills, the Transcript Based Lesson Analysis (TBLA) learning analysis method is used. This research is an exploratory qualitative research that aims to describe critical thinking and tendencies in problem-based mathematics learning using TBLA for students in class VIII-D at SMP Negeri 1 Gresik. The supporting instrumens in this study consisted of documentation using an audio-visual recording device and sheets for lesson analysis the TBLA model. From the results of the TBLA analysis, both based on the number of letters and categorization, it can be seen that problem-based mathematics learning tends to be dominated by students. In the results of the TBLA analysis based on the number of letters, it appears that students are active in communicating with other students, only occasionally asking the teacher about things that need more explanation. Likewise, the results of the TBLA analysis based on categorization show that students have critical thinking skills, namely students can show 6 critical thinking indicators in this study, namely focus, reason, inference, situation, clarity and overview
THE EFFECT OF PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING MODEL ON STUDENTS' MATHEMATICAL COMPUTATIONAL THINKING SKILLS
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir komputasi matematis siswa. Sampel penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas 8 Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hifzhil Qur’an (MTs) Yayasan Islamic Centre Sumatera Utara tahun ajaran 2023-2024 yang berjumlah 53 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling sehingga peneliti memiliki 2 kelompok kelas, yaitu kelas 8-3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas 8-4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain penelitian berupa True Experimental Design bentuk Posttest-Only Control Design. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan Independent Sample t Test dan memperoleh nilai sig. 0,001. Dengan demikian, H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir komputasi matematis siswa. This study aims to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning model on students' mathematical computational thinking ability. The sample of this study involved 8th grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Hifzhil Qur'an Yayasan Islamic Centre Sumatera Utara in the 2023-2024 school year totaling 53 people. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling so that researchers had 2 class groups, namely class 8-3 as the experimental class and class 8-4 as the control class. The method used is quantitative experimentation with a research design in the form of True Experimental Design in the form of Post-test-Only Control Design. The analysis of this study used Independent Sample t Test and obtained a sig value. 0,001. Thus, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant effect of using Problem Based Learning model on students' mathematical computational thinking skills
