Project 555: A silent reading intervention towards an improved reading comprehension in English
The study used descriptive research design to determine the effectiveness of Project 555 silent reading intervention to improve the reading comprehension of Grade Two pupils in a public elementary school in Laguna, Philippines. This was done through pre-testing and post-testing of two sections if class that served as control and treatment groups. It also assessed the level of knowledge, attitudes, and practices of teachers and administrators towards Project 555. Pre-test results revealed low level of reading comprehension among Grade Two pupils. Specifically, most of them belong to instructional, frustration and capacity level. But after the implementation of Project 555 silent reading intervention, the reading comprehension of the pupils showed improvement. The pupils’ level of reading comprehension has reached to independent and instructional, and only one belongs to the lowest level i.e., capacity. Albeit the positive impact of this intervention in increasing the pupils’ interest in reading, the study recommended for the enhancement of Project 555 implementation by regular monitoring of the progress of the pupils in terms of their reading comprehension. It is also suggested that the study be conducted throughout the school year so that there would be sufficient time to implement the intervention and thus have requisite basis on the effectiveness of Project 555 in improving the pupils’ reading comprehension in English

The Effect of Storage on The Nutritional Quality of Pindang Broiler Chicken Meat Packed with a Plastic Vacuum Bag (Vacuum Pack)
The body needs animal protein needs in this new normal. This research aimed to determine the storage time for Pindang seasoned broiler chicken, which was packaged using a plastic vacuum bag (vacuum pack). The problem with this research was that the exact length of storage for Pindang Spice broiler chicken's nutritional quality wasn’t known by using a vacuum pack. This research will be conducted for one year (12 months). This research will be conducted in Bau-Bau City, Betoambari road, Bones village. Analysis of the nutritional content of Pindang Spiced broiler chickens meat will be carried out at the UHO Faculty of Animal Husbandry Technology Laboratory. The research that will be conducted is experimental. The research used a Completely Randomized Design with four treatments and four replications, each consisting of 500 grams of pindang seasoned broiler chickens. The research data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) based on a completely randomized design using the SPSS standard. Further testing was carried out with the Duncan Multiple Range Test if the treatment had a significant effect. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the protein content and fat content significantly (P0.05) on the nutritional quality of Pindang Spiced Broiler chicken meat packaged in a vacuum pack. At the same time, the best treatment was obtained on the length of use of the vacuum pack on the nutritional quality of the results of this research, namely in the P2 treatment (10 days of storage), where the protein content, fat content, and water content of the meat were of higher quality
Response of Cocoa Seed Growth Received by Bio-priming Technique Treatment
Cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) is one of the people's plantation crops with promising prospects because it can flower and bear fruit throughout the year. One of the efforts to improve the quality of cocoa seeds is by increasing the viability and vigor of seeds through seed invigoration techniques. This study aimed to determine the effect of biopriming invigoration treatment techniques in increasing cocoa seeds' viability, vigor, and growth. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Agronomy Unit of the Faculty of Agriculture of Halu Oleo Kendari from April to May 2019. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments: Control (B0), Bio-priming Bacillus sp. CKD061 (B1), Bio-priming Pseudomonas flourescent (B2), a combination of Bio-priming Bacillus sp. CKD061 with Pseudomonas fluorescent. Each treatment was repeated three times, so there were 12 experimental units. The data obtained were analyzed using variance analysis and continued using the Least Significant Difference Test (LSD). Based on the results of research that biopriming treatment using rhizobacteria has the best influence on the viability, vigor and growth of cocoa seeds. Keywords: Biopriming, cocoa seeds, rhizobacteria, seed growthÂ
Mangrove Identification on the Rainbow Bridge Coastal Coast Lamundre Village, Watubangga District, Kolaka Regency
The village of Lamundre is an area overgrown with a mangrove ecosystem of 4 hectares and is well developed on the coast.
