What Matters to You Most Today? Purposeful Rounding to Improve Patient Experience
To improve patient experience and satisfaction purposeful hourly rounding, centered on the question What matters to you most today? . The project aimed to increase the unit\u27s top-box score for nurse hourly rounding from 75% to 80% within 10 months. Interventions included using the CIPHER rounding tool, in-room signage, discharge surveys, and follow-up phone calls. Following implementation, the unit saw an increase from 75% in Q1 to 81.8% in Q4, exceeding the target and demonstrating measurable improvements in patient satisfaction and individualized care
