Application of maximum principle to Stochastic Control problem

    Suppose that the state of a system at time t is described by an Itˆo process Xt of the formdXt = dXu t = b(t, Xt, ut)dt + σ(t, Xt, ut)dBt, t > s > 0, (1)where Xt ∈ R n, b : R × R n × U → R n, σ : R × Rn × U → R n×m and Bt is an m-dimensional Brownian motion. Here ut ∈ U ⊂ R k is a parameter whose value we can choose in a given Borel set U at any instant t in order to control the process Xt. Thus ut = u(t, w) is a stochastic process.Since our decision at time t must be based upon what has happened up to time t, the function w −→ u(t, w) must (at least) be measurable with respect to F (m) t, i.e. the process ut must be {F(m) t, t > 0}-adapted

An extended distribution of Non-Native Tree species Muntingia calabura L. in Rajshahi, Bangladesh

Muntingia calabura is a fast growing evergreen tree ‍and is indigenous to southern Mexico, Central America, tropical South America, the Greater Antilles, St. Vincent and Trinidad. It is now widespread and naturalized in Southeast Asia, Australia, and in islands of the Pacific Ocean due to its ability to disperse by bats and birds. In Bangladesh it is being cultivated in homesteads in some places especially in urban area as a sweet minor edible fruits. During this exploration, three plants of Muntingia calabura found in Rajshahi city. It is reported here as an addition to the Flora of Rajshahi district. This paper also envisages plant description, photographs and Figure of herbarium sheet are provided to facilitate easy identification

Estimates of Fekete-Szego Functional of a Sub- class of Analytic and Bi-Univalent Functions by Means of Chebyshev Polynomials

In this work, a new subclass C( ; ; n; t) of analytic and bi-univalent functions is dened by subordination principle and investigated. The initial coecient bounds and the upper estimates of the Fekete-Szego functional were obtained using Chebyshev polynomials

    Sum Formulas For Generalized Tetranacci Numbers: Closed Forms of the Sum Formulas ∑_{k=0}ⁿx^{k}W_{k} and ∑_{k=1}ⁿx^{k}W_{-k}

In this paper, closed forms of the sum formulas ∑_{k=0}ⁿx^{k}W_{k} and ∑_{k=1}ⁿx^{k}W_{-k} for generalized Tetranacci numbers are presented. As special cases, we give summation formulas of Tetranacci, Tetranacci-Lucas, and other fourth-order recurrence sequences

    BCI/BCK- quantum algebra

The paper contains an investigation of the notion of BCI-algebras and BCK-algebras. The concept of quantale was created in 1984 to develop a framework for non-commutative spaces and quantum mechanics with a view toward non-commutative logic. Implicational algebras like pseudo-BCK algebras are quantum B-algebras, and every quantum B-algebra can be recovered from its spectrum which is a quantale. [25].A brief introduction to quantum mechanics is given. A new generalization of BCI/BCK-algebra and some there properties have been given. The BCI- quantum algebra and BCk- quantum algebra have been studied. The BCI- Lie algebra and BCK- Lie algebra are introduced. Various examples have been given

The Stochastic SIR Household Epidemics With TI ≡ 4:1 and TI Having GAMMA(a, b) Infectious Period Distribution

Model estimates, their functions are in no doubt affected by wrong choice of the infectious period distribution, TI when the actual one is unknown. This is a misspecification problem which is often accompanied with biased and imprecise estimates. This work does not com- pletely examined this problem but explored the choice of constant infectious period, TI ≡ 4.1 and TI distributed as Γ(2, 2.05) for the household epidemic and then examined their effects on the behaviours of the model functions and quality of its maximum likelihood estimates in order to see if there are considerable disparities in the maximum likelihood estimates and behaviours of the functions giving these scenarios and whether constant infectious period is a reasonable assumption for the stochastic SIR household epidemic. &nbsp

Cohomology Groups, Currents and Dx -Schemes on ∂ -Cohomology

We consider some cohomology groups lemmas as given by Poincaré and Dolbeault-Grothendieck, to establish the De Rham and Dolbeault theorems through currents, and after to be applied to define currents on Dolbeault cohomology. One advantage of this application of currents is the commutation between differential operator and current, which will be demonstrated to a complex holomorphic manifold whose co-cycles under a current are complex domains conformed by holomorphic hyperplanes. In the paper are explained wifely these versions and are applied some Dx -schemes to study of complex holomorphic manifolds and its tomography in cycles of co-dimensions 1, and n - q

Minisum and minimax transfer point location problem with random demands points

This paper is concerned with analyzing some models of the weighted transfer point location problem under the minisum and minimax criterions when demand points are randomly distributed over regions of the plane and the location of the service facility is known. In case of minisum objective with rectilinear distance, an iterative procedure was constructed for estimating the optimal transfer point location using the hyperbolic application procedure. Exact analytic solution was obtained when the random demand points follow uniform distributions. A unified analytic optimal solution was provided for all types of probability distributions of the random demand points when the distance is the squared Euclidean distance. For minimax objective with squared Euclidean distance, an iterative procedure based on Karush-Kuhn-Tucker conditions was developed to produce an approximate solution to the optimal solution. Illustrative numerical examples were provided

Use Of Electronic Resources By Postgraduate Users in Kenyan Selected Academic Libraries

Electronic resources have presented many benefits alongside challenges to information consumers. The advent of new technologies facilitates virtual resource sharing by diverse users compared to print resources. However, despite academic libraries spending a huge sum of money subscribing to various e-resources, it has been noted that some of these resources are under-utilized due to low levels of awareness and lack of access and skills. This study used a mixed-method design in four (4) Kenyan university academic libraries. SPSS software was used to analyze data and information. It was established that 73% of respondents have access to e-journals while 29.7% reported that the high cost of the subscription to some resources was a challenge to them. It was however concluded that electronic resources are heavily used and are vital to support the objectives of universities by improving the performance of postgraduate students.&nbsp

Development of the entire representation using the roots

One of the most important features of the analytic function is the ability to build it by knowing its zeros. In this work we display a point by point think about of how to build the entire function using the roots with detailed mathematical proof. The Detailed study of entire representation is given. The roots of this entire theta function and there action are highlighted. The number of the roots of Study function is same the dimension of thenite space and characterize it
