Building constructions by composite material in the current era very popular because of their vantage over conventional concrete and steel construction. It is observed that R.C.C buildings are being relatively large in size and give relatively high earthquake forces and low deflection as compare to steel building instruct more deflection and ductility to the structure, and this is beneficial in terms of resisting earthquake forces. In this paper Comparative Study of RCC, Steel and Composite Structures by Using ETABS 2016 Software of story G+12 buildings of RCC building, steel building and composite building is presented situated in Aurangabad earthquake zone III, Wind speed is 39 m/s and structure class C, terrine category 3 with the help of different parameters like displacement, story shear, story drift, self-weight, axial force B.M etc. In this study all building structures are designed for same type of gravity loadings. Composite frame combines together better properties of both steel in tension and concrete in compression with this less self-weight of building and lesser the cost of construction, which result speedy construction, etc. Equivalent static method is used for analysis of all types of structure. This Comparative study of Analysis and Cost of R.C.C., Steel and Composite Structures concludes that the composite structures are best suited among all the three types of constructions that is RCC and steel in terms of material cost, self-weight

We introduce a symmetric-key Latin square image cipher (LSIC) for grayscale, colour images as well as videos. Here is a list of contributions to the image encryption circle, A) Latin Square Image encryption primitives are developed including, Latin Square whitening, S-BOX and P-BOX, B) A new way is provided for integration of probabilistic encryption in encryption of images by embedding it with random noise in the least significant image bit-plane and C) Therefore, a LSIC is constructed with the above Latin Square Image Encryption primitives, on a keyed Latin Square in a brand new loom like substitution-permutation network. Hence, the proposed Latin Square Image Cipher may achieve several wanted properties of a safe cipher including, high key sensitivities, evenly distributed cipher text, a sufficient key space, very good diffusion and confusion properties, and lastly robustness against channel noise

A Survey: Trust Based Task Assignment in Service Oriented ADHOC Networks with Energy Efficient Optimization

    No full text
Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is an Infrastructure less network where mobile devices are connected without wires. Each device in MANET can move independently on its own. Thus MANET can change the location and configure by itself. Nowadays Energy Efficiency (EE) of the ADHOC nodes and Trust management becomes an essential aspect, as it is not possible to give sufficient power to the mobile devices of the ADHOC networks. This type of problem in ADHOC networks is a globally optimal problem where some customized branch and bound (BB) algorithm are effectively and efficiently used to solve it. In this paper a survey is done on the trust management protocol with energy efficient optimization

Importance of Technical Textiles as Filtration Media-A Review

Textiles are widely used in our day-to-day needs like filtration of air, liquids, food preparation as well as industrial production in large to keep us healthier from the surrounding environment. A variety of fibres, yarns and fabrics both in woven and nonwoven types are used in the field of filtration techniques. The innovative applications of textile filtration fabrics is widely accepted in the pharmaceutical industry in the process of separation of liquids, gases, powders and suspensions involved in the filtration processes. Textile materials in any form play an important role the industrial filtration. In the present industrial processes, there is hardly any process is left where filtration is not involved. In the filtration process, where any textile material used it is called as the filter media or medium. In general filter media is used either in the solid-gas and/or solid-liquid separation. The use of latest technologies with filters and filtration media, the effective time in filtration is reduced and better quality of products are obtained in pharmaceutical industry. The use of textile filtration materials helps maximum separation of particles from the liquids, although absolute clarity is not always required. The use of membrane filtration fabrics in water filtration process has improved the membrane science

    No full text
Controlled power is a fundamental necessity of various sectors and controlling of power is made by Static VAR Compensators (SVC) is used with fast response time characteristics to overcome compensation problems. This paper discuss about one of the FACT device i.e. Thyristor Controlled Reactor (TCR) which is a part of SVC is used to compensate the reactive power in transmission line and meeting the limit on harmonics.. A TCR scheme is presented in this paper in which the total bank is split into one Ä connected reactor bank and one Y connected reactor bank having same kVA rating and also consist of a low kVA rating zigzag autotransformer, into place of the conventional Ä connected reactor bank with a harmonic current filter. This arrangement averts the triple harmonics generated by the Y bank from entering into the supply system because which is circulate in zigzag autotransformer and at the same time, the combination results in cancellation of some major harmonics from the source current. Thus, without using any additional filters, this topology make easy reactive power control over a wide range and also meets the necessary harmonics standards. The scheme is simple and provides an economic solution to the VAR compensation problem
