An Analysis of Taliwang-Sasak Code-Mixing Types Used in Lunyuk Community
Get PDFThis research examines the types of code-mixing found within the Lunyuk community, specifically focusing on using Taliwang and Sasak languages, as analyzed through the framework of Muysken's (2000) theory of code-mixing. The study uses an ethnographic approach to capture real-life language interactions and social dynamics that drive code-mixing patterns in a bilingual community setting. According to Muysken's typology, code-mixing can be categorized into three main types: insertion, alternation, and congruent lexicalization. The findings reveal that each type is prevalent within the community. However, the frequency and context vary based on factors such as speakers' linguistic background, the formality of the setting, and social relationships. This study contributes to understanding code-mixing in multilingual communities, demonstrating how Muysken's model effectively captures the nuanced linguistic practices within the Lunyuk community
Digital Rupiah as An Alternative Digital Transaction in Indonesia
Get PDFDigitalization in the financial industry revolutionized the transaction system with the emergence of Cryptography-based Digital Currencies. It has recently evolved into digital currencies issued by central banks, known as Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). Bank Indonesia responds by developing a plan to release Digital Rupiah as part of the digital transformation initiative in the national payment system. This study aims to determine the authors' interest in discussing Indonesia's CBDC as seen through article publication trends. This research uses the systematic literature review (SLR) method. The results show that there is an increasing trend in the publication of articles on Digital Rupiah. The published articles discuss Digital Rupiah from various sides such as legality, implementation mechanism, challenges opportunities and impacts, to its potential implementation
Teacher’s and Students’ Perceptions of Project-Based Learning in Promoting Students’ Communication Skills in Vocational High School
Get PDFThe objectives of this study were 1) to describe teachers' perceptions of Project-Based Learning in fostering students' communication skills in Vocational High Schools and 2) to describe students' perceptions of Project-Based Learning in enhancing their communication skills in these settings. The study employed a mixed-method approach to gather quantitative and qualitative data through questionnaires and interviews. Specifically, a sequential explanatory design was used, where a quantitative survey was conducted first, followed by an exploration of qualitative data through in-depth interviews. The participants included six teachers and 86 eleventh-grade students from three vocational schools in Aceh, Indonesia, selected through purposive sampling. The results indicated that teachers and students had positive attitudes toward Project-Based Learning (PBL) and believed it could effectively enhance students' communication skills in the classroom. Teachers identified several critical benefits of PBL, including increased student engagement, opportunities for collaborative work, and the development of critical thinking and communication skills. However, they also noted challenges, such as time constraints, inadequate facilities, and the need for teachers to be more proactive and critical in their roles. From the student's perspective, the advantages of PBL included its real-world relevance, the promotion of active learning and engagement, improved collaboration skills, enhanced critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and improved presentation skills. However, students also highlighted some drawbacks, such as time constraints, limited resources, difficulties in group work, and challenges in time management. The Role of Domestic Prices and International Prices in Indonesian Cocoa Bean Exports 2019-2023
Get PDFCocoa Beans are one of the promising agricultural commodities. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between domestic prices and international prices in influencing Cocoa Bean Exports in 2019-2023. The methodology of this study is causal comparative with a quantitative approach using secondary data from the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the International Cocoa Organization (ICO). The data analysis method in this study uses Ordinary Least Squares (OLS). The results of the study are as follows: 1). Domestic cocoa bean prices have a significant effect on Indonesian cocoa bean exports, 2). International prices have a negative and insignificant effect on Indonesian cocoa bean exports, 3). Domestic prices and international prices together affect Indonesian cocoa bean exports by 58.7% and 41.3% is influenced by other variables not included in the research
A Case Study of Early Language Development of Children with Down Syndrome at TKLN SLB N Pembina Yogyakarta

This ability is very important to support children's growth and development in the future. The purpose of this study is to see the extent of language and speech development in children with Down syndrome at an early age in TKLB SLB N Pembina Yogyakarta students. The research method used is a case study with research subjects consisting of 5 children with Down syndrome aged 7-8 years. Data collection techniques are observations made to children and interviews with parents. The focus of this research is to know the conditions, characteristics, abilities, advantages and obstacles in the development of speech and language of children with Down syndrome. The results showed that the language development of students with Down syndrome was at the stage of being able to say one word, pulling hands or pointing to express their wishes, and had difficulty pronouncing vocabulary with correct articulation, sounding the last syllable only, sometimes even making unclear sounds without meaning that could not be understood
Development of the Short Film the Legend of Princess Karang Melenu as a Model for Learning Character Values in Students of Community of Two Forms (K2r) Theater Extracurricular SMAN 2 Tenggarong
Get PDFMUHAMMAD GILANG RAMADHAN: Development of the Short Film Legend of Putri Karang Melenu as a Model for Learning Character Values for Students of the Two Rupa Community (K2R) Eskul Theater SMAN 2 Tenggarong. Thesis, Yogyakarta: Program Postgraduate, University Country Yogyakarta, 2023. This research and development aims to develop a short film product in the form of a folk tale originating from East Kalimantan, namely the legend of the Karang Melenu princess which was developed as a model for learning character values for students of the Dua Rupa Eskul Theater Community at SMAN 2 Tenggarong. The stages in this research and development used 2 stages, namely the qualitative research stage and the R & D research stage. In this qualitative research stage the ethnographic method was used, where at this stage the researcher explored the character values contained in the legend of Putri Karang Melenu after obtaining the values. The character values in the legend of Putri Karang Melenu were developed into a short film. The second R&D stage used in the short film making process includes research and data collection, planning, product draft development, small group field trials, revising trial results, field trials, perfecting the field test product, field implementation trials, final product refinement. , dissemination, implementation and mass production. The research subjects were students from the two-way community of SMAN 2 Tenggarong. Product validation includes validation of media experts, validation of material experts, teachers and students. The research results show that the product of the short film development of the legend of Putri Karang Melenu is suitable to be used as a learning model for the values of character education for students of the Dua Rupa Community at SMAN 2 Tenggarong. With the following assessment results (1) media expert assessment with a score of 3.8 good criteria (2) material expert assessment with a score of 4.5 with very good criteria (3) arts and culture teacher assessment with a score of 4.7 with very good criteria (4) assessment from students two-way community with a rating of 5.2 very good. Apart from that, the values contained in making short films have learning values that students can emulate, namely as follows: (1) Religious teaching values (2) Compassion teaching values (3) Patience values (4) Tolerance values (5) Value of courtesy (6) Value of hard work (7) Value of mutual cooperation (8) Value of discipline. In this way, the short film product, the legend of Putri Karang Melenu, was successfully developed into a model for learning character values for students in two types of theater escul communities at SMAN 2 Tenggarong.
Increasing Student Critical Thinking Through the Development of Public Sector Accounting Practicum Modules Based on Problem Based Learning (PBL)
Get PDFAchievement of learning objectives is supported by the use of appropriate teaching materials. E-books, a type of digital teaching material that utilizes educational technology, can be used as an alternative to improve learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to create an Android-based teaching material product with a Problem Based Learning approach on Accounting Practicum material for Government Institutions/Agencies, analyze the feasibility of e-books, and analyze students' responses to Android-based e-book teaching materials. The type of research used is the R&D (Research and Development) model with a 4D model developed by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel. This model consists of four stages: definition, design, development, and deployment. There was no distribution stage in this research due to researcher limitations. Quantitative and qualitative analysis is used to classify different types of data. The results of the research show that, based on the average results of the appropriateness of the material, language and graphics, the experts' validation meets the criteria of being very feasible. The results of product trials show that respondents' understanding of e-book development obtained an average score of 94.82%, which meets the very good criteria

Since language continues to evolve, the researchers wants to analyze the types of taboo words and their function in Senior Year movies. This research used the theory of types of taboo words by Jay (1992) and the function of taboo words by Wardhaugh (2006). The researchers start with watching the movie reading the transcript and noting the taboo words found, the next step is classifying the taboo words based on the type and function. This research found of 9 types of taboo words, the researchers found 8 out of 9 types of taboo words such as Slang, Insult and slurs, Vulgarity, Profanity, Scatology, Cursing, Epithets, and Obscenity. For the function, the researchers found all 4 functions of taboo words, such as To draw attraction to oneself, To show contempt, To be aggressive or provocative, and To mock authority

It aims to explore the reality of K-Pop trends by using relevant literature approaches that address the development of K-Pop, visual trends, and their impact on Indonesian cultural traditions. The current reality of Korean Pop trends reflects a cultural shift, where fans tend to focus more on visual aspects than their own cultural traditions. Korean Pop (K-Pop) is a global cultural phenomenon that has taken over the global entertainment industry with its catchy music style and impressive visuals. Although K-Pop has become a global phenomenon that attracts millions of fans, there are concerns that the trend may lead to the neglect of traditional cultural heritage. The analysis shows that 1) Through Korean theater performances, K-Pop is introduced to Indonesia and becomes entertainment for the public, so that the younger generation in Indonesia is closer and more interested in K-Pop. 2) The current Indonesian young generation idolizes Korean artists because they like K-Pop culture in lifestyle, clothing, songs, and visualization. 3) One of the negative impacts of K-pop popularity on the existence of Indonesian culture is that many teenagers forget their own culture and ignore our country's culture, resulting in a lack of attention and appreciation for local culture. The popularity of K-Pop has affected the priorities of fans and caused a shift in traditional values towards a perfect appearance. Our country's traditional cultural values also seem to be marginalized by the popularity of K-Pop ranging from changes in traditional clothing styles, language and customs that seem to be replaced by the beauty and style standards set by K-Pop idols. 4) Some are concerned that K-Pop might influence the lifestyle of the younger generation, especially in terms of their clothing, hair and makeup. Some individuals will follow Korean fashion and beauty standards without considering the unique characteristics of Indonesian society. While K-Pop offers young people the opportunity to pursue a career in the global entertainment industry, it also risks losing the cultural roots and national identity of the generation
