Football team
The Plainsmen won the Great Plains College Association football championships. This equaled a 15-year record of seven wins in a single season. The final game was played in Colorado. The picture is taken at the airport, with the football team members wearing suits after disembarking from their flight. Caption in The Plainsman yearbook reads, "The return of a winning team.
