If This is Science - The long century of physical and natural sciences (Se Questa è Scienza - Il secolo lungo delle scienze fisiche e naturali)
The last century was marked by a characteristic that has accompanied many human activities. In philosophy, attempts have been made to convince professionals, students and the more educated population that truth is unattainable, or does not even exist, or is only a reflection of thought. In the field of politics, ethics and morals, the new means of communication of the first half of the 20th century, first and foremost the radio followed by the press, and the powerful who controlled them, they succeeded in the unprecedented feat of making very large sections of the population believe that the exponents of an ethnic group were not human beings, and that they could be subjugated and subjected to the most criminal oppressions, or even erased from the face of the Earth with a never before conceived final solution. The disintegration of realism has also marked the arts, and it was to be expected that the sciences were no less with the relativistic drift on the one hand and indeterministic probabilistic on the other in the foundations of science. The “Shut up and calculate” prevailed or the disinterest in the real causes of the phenomena as a typical dress of the professional physicist. The 20th century was therefore not the short century, but on the contrary the long century, which also extends into ours with its negative cultural effects. A change of course in Earth Sciences could trigger a domino effect for the renewal of other disciplines and put an end to the long century.
Distance Based Topological Indices of Double graphs and Strong Double graphs
Topological index is a numerical representation of structure of graph. They are mainly classified as Distance and Degree based topological indices. In this article Distance based topological indices of Double graphs and Strong Double graphs are calculated. Let be a graph of order with the vertex set containing vertices . Double graph of graph is constructed by taking two copies of G in which a vertex in one copy is adjacent to a vertex in the another copy if and are adjacent in G. Strong Double graph is a double graph in which a vertex in one copy is adjacent to a vertex in the another copy if .
Degree of an edge and Platt Number in signed networks
Positive labelled edges play a vital role in network analysis. The degree of edges in signed graphs is introduced by giving importance topositive edges incident on the end vertices of that edge. The conceptof Platt number of a graph, which is the sum of degrees of its edges, isextended to signed graphs based on the degree defined. Bounds of degree of an edge and Platt number in certain classes of signed graphsare determined. Some characterizations on Platt number of signedgraphs are also established. A model to analyse social networks using degree of edges and Platt number is also proposed. Keywords: Signed graph, positive edges, negative edges, networks, information diffusion, degree of an edge, Platt numbe
Analytic Hierarchy Process for classes of economic behavior in the context of intertemporal choices
Due to the major crises of the past decade, the need to introduce consumer profiling operations to protect individuals from committing superficial business transactions has been realized in 2014/65/EU Directive. The present paper investigates how consumer behavioral attitudes influence the decision-making process so that the choice results, from a normative point of view, non-rational in the context of intertemporal choice. In addition, the particular focus by European institutions on closing the gender gap in the economic and financial sector motivated this research to enrich the analysis with gender assessments. The study of the relationship between cognitive characteristics and consumer decision making are deepened with a multidisciplinary approach involving mathematics, behavioral finance, temperament theory and multi-criteria analysis. The results of an experimental investigation confirm that there is not a better temperament or a more adept gender in economic and financial choices
W8 - Curvature Tensor in Generalized Sasakian Space Forms
The generalized Sasakian-space-forms and their properties have been examined by various researchers such as Alegre and Carriazo [2008], Prakasha [2012], Sarkar and Akbar [2014], Shanmukha et al. [2018], Sarkar and Sen [2012], Rajan and Singh [2020] and Sarkar and Sen [2012]. Motivated by the results of these works, we have proposed the idea of the W8−curvature tensor in generalized Sasakian-space- forms. The main goal of this paper is to investigate the curvature properties of generalized Sasakian-space-forms that satisfy the conditions ξ − W8− flatness, ϕ − W8−semi-symmetric, W8 · Q = 0, W8 · R = 0 and to prove some interesting results
Feebly r-clean ring and feebly*-r-clean ring
In this article, we introduce the concept of feebly r-clean ring and feebly ∗-r-clean ring. A ring R is defined to be feebly r-clean, if every element a can be written as a = r + e − f, where u is a regular and e, f are orthogonal idempotents and A ∗ ring R is defined to be feebly ∗-r clean if every element a can be written as a = r + p − q, where r is regular element and p, q are orthogonal projections. Further we generalise this concept of feebly r-clean ring to feebly g(x)−r-clean ring, where g(x) ∈ C(R)[x] and C(R) is the centre of ring R
Quantum mechanical measurement in monistic systems theory
The monistic worldview aims at a uniform description of nature based on scientific models. Quantum physical systems are mutually part of the other quantum physical systems. An aperture distributes the subsystems and the wave front in all possible ways. The system only takes one of the possible paths, as measurements show. Conclusion from Bell's theorem: Before the quantum physical measurement, there is no point-like location in the universe where all the information that explains the measurement is available. Distributed information is possible. Movement of the particle and measuring process are deterministic. The oscillation between location uncertainty and momentum uncertainty leads photons to determine their own location at short intervals. The uncertainty principle focuses the systems. The fields of the surrounding matter influence the location of the new formation. The effect of all fields is based on a common mechanism
Weighted sharing of meromorphic functions concerning certain type of linear difference polynomials
In this research article, with the help of Nevanlinna theory we study the uniqueness problems of transcendental meromorphic functions having finite order in the complex plane , of the form is given by and where which share a non-zero polynomial with finite weight. By considering the concept of weighted sharing introduced by I. Lahiri (Complex Variables and Elliptic equations,2001,241-253), we investigate difference polynomials for the cases . Our new findings extends and generalizes some classical results of Sujoy Majumder\cite{m11}. Some examples have been exhibited which are relevant to the content of the paper
Fork-decomposition of strong product of graphs
Decomposition of arbitrary graphs into subgraphs of small size is assuming importance in the literature. There are several studies on the isomorphic decomposition of graphs into paths, cycles, trees, stars, sunlet etc. Fork is a tree obtained by subdividing any edge of a star of size three exactly once. In this paper, we investigate the necessary and sufficient for the fork-decomposition of Strong product of graphs
Anti Q-M-Fuzzy Normal Subgroups
Numerous subject fields have made use of the fuzzy idea. Both the M-fuzzy level subsets and the anti Q-M-fuzzy normal subgroups are defined. You will also discover some group Q-M-homomorphism and group anti Q-M-homomorphism results in this study
