The Impact of using Robust Estimations in Regression Models: An Application on the Egyptian Economy
No full textIn this paper, we review the three robust estimations (M-estimation,S-estimation, and MM-estimation) in linear regression modeling.Moreover, we study and compare the performance of these estimationswith the traditional Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) estimation based ona real dataset application on the Egyptian economy. In our application,we study the effect of some economic and demographic indicators onthe Egyptian Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in each governorate of thecountry. The results of the application showed that robust estimationsgreatly improved the efficiency of the regression estimation, and thebest robust estimation is MM-estimation

No full textIn this paper, we prove common fixed-point theorems as an application of occasionally weakly compatible mappings in intuitionistic fuzzy metric space under contractive conditions that extend the scope of the study of common fixed-point theorems from the class of weakly compatible mappings to a wider class of mappings. No full textभारत वर्ष आस्थाओं और विश्वासो की संगमस्थलीय है। विश्व के किसी भी संस्कृति में इतने अधिक उत्सवो त्योहारों, मेलें, तीर्थो एवं स्नान पर्वो की व्यवस्था देखने को नहीं मिलती जितनी की भारत वर्ष में दिखाई पडती हैं। भारत संस्कृति प्राचीन काल से ही पर्यावरण हितैषी रही हैं, और आज भी लोेकगीतो के माध्यम से इसी परम्परा का निर्वाहन कर रहे है। कुमाऊँनी संस्कृति भी भारतीय संस्कृति का एक छोटा प्रतिरूप है। कुमाऊँनी लोक संस्कृति के गीतों में पर्यावरण संरक्षण की अवधारणा प्रत्यक्ष व परोक्ष दोनों रूपो में अन्र्तनिहित है। यहाँ की प्रथाओ, परम्पराओं, रीति-रिवाजों, कलाओं, साहित्यों आदि विभिन्न क्षेत्रो मे प्यावरण के प्रति जागरूकता सहज दृष्टिगोचर होती है। उक्त शोध आलेख में कुमाऊँनी लोक संस्कृति के गीतो में पर्यावरण संरक्षण की महत्तर को प्रस्तुत किया गया है

Planning and Implications of Social Media Tools to Provide Quality Library Services in Academic Libraries
No full textThe core objective to work in this domain is to address how one can exploit the social media to serve the purpose of providing modernize library and information services in context of present digitized society. This study is based on selected research samples which are fifty regular library users from five different and premier engineering colleges stationed within the region of central Gujarat. This paper concluded that good quality libraries are using social media such as Face book, whatsapp and LinkedIn in a wider way to provide its continuous services to its esteemed users. All most all the libraries utilizes the social media route the most effective and easy to reach to general masses to highlight their library product, services, events, advertisement, research purposes and video conferencing. The online questionnaire was floated to the aforementioned library personals and received the same with their feedback, opinion and suggestions indication how to make library services more attractive and usable by utilizing social media platform effectively and efficiently.

Immortals of Meluha is a gripping mythological story written in modern style. Reading this beautifully written creation is like plunging into the icy and venerable waters of Manasarovar. We can actually sense the beats of Shiva’s Damru and fumes of intoxicating Chillum. Shiva Trilogy has known characters from Hindu mythology as well as those born from Tripathi’s imagination. However the characters from Hinduism do not inherit their entire classical trait. In Meluha no one was born in a caste. In ancient time your station in life was based on Karma, not birth. Valmiki, who wrote the original Ramayana was of low caste by birth but is looked upon as a great sage. Similarly, Ved Vyas who composed the Mahabharat, was born to a fisher woman. Today’s caste system, which is based on birth is appalling and against our traditional culture. Meluhan women are free and have all rights. The prime minister of Meluha is a woman. Ayurvati is the doctor who tends to Shiva and his people as they arrive in Shrinagar from Tibet. Sati seems to embody the ideal Meluhan woman, bold, fearless and beautiful. Some women are made Kshatriyas through Maika system.
