To be called an innovation, an idea must be replicable at an economical cost and must satisfy a specific need. Innovation involves deliberate application of information, imagination and initiative in deriving greater or different values from resources, and includes all processes by which new ideas are generated and converted into useful products. In business, innovation often results when ideas are applied by the company in course or further meeting the needs and expectations of the customers. Innovation is not a one-man thing it can happen at every stage of an organization. The new intern may have million dollar business idea instead of those employers working for past 10 years. In our society we have great people and associate who are desirous to help us innovate. We need to listen to them and look for what they put forward. Ideas are everywhere. Without realizing their action some people do not Praise new ideas, do not let everybody contribute, not be open minded. This is how we kill innovation by our action. No full textThe permeation of information communication technology (ICT) in the educational sector cannot be underestimated. Currently, ICT integration in education is moving away from the traditional use of computers for administrative work and typing assignments to mobile learning, collaborative learning, fast sharing of information and gamification. In ideal educational set-ups at either elementary or tertiary levels, the benefits that come with ICT integration are enormous. On the other hand, the traditional challenges to quality education have never been dealt with in many educational institutions all over the world. The persistent challenge of teacher shortages, capacity and infrastructural inadequacies have ensured some educational institutions the world over churn out students who are illiterate or unable to favorably compete in the global job markets with those whose institutions are better endowed.The argument is that the above challenges can easily be solved by respective countries through public-private-people partnerships so long as there is political good will for the concerned governments. The single most current shortfall to education and the innovation in education is the lack of information ethics. The results reveal that the terrorism had a negative and transitory impact on population growth. This is further captured that the incidents of deaths implied more adverse effects on population demography and made it even more uneven in the state
Cryptanalysis of Mono-Alphabetic Substitution Ciphers using Genetic Algorithms and Simulated Annealing
Get PDFIn this paper, we intend to apply the principles of genetic algorithms along with simulated annealing to cryptanalyze a mono-alphabetic substitution cipher. The type of attack used for cryptanalysis is a ciphertext-only attack in which we don’t know any plaintext. In genetic algorithms and simulated annealing, for ciphertext-only attack, we need to have the solution space or any method to match the decrypted text to the language text. However, the challenge is to implement the project while maintaining computational efficiency and a high degree of security. We carry out three attacks, the first of which uses genetic algorithms alone, the second which uses simulated annealing alone and the third which uses a combination of genetic algorithms and simulated annealing
Practice Change and Bricolage in Nursing
No full textThis paper aimed to define and describe the concepts of practice change and bricolage in nursing. The ontology, epistemology and axiology of practice change in nursing will be clarified as it relates to the experiences of the nurse and patients. This paper proposes that the most significant changes in a nurse-nursed relationship are the self-initiated incremental changes that result in improved patient care, arising from a need to cope with difficult situations, adjust and make sense of the experiences that they were having. It is also within this context that the case is argued for considering that changes in nursing practice involve bricolage activity. Bricolage is the construction or creation of a work from a diverse range of things that happen to be available, or a work created by such a process (Gobbi, 2005). The idea of using patient\u27s environment and available resources which are at hand is the main goal in the bricolage activity (Reed and Shearer, 2011). This stance, which is derived from the work of Levi-Strauss, conceives elements of nursing practice as an embodied, bricolage practice where nurses draw on the \u27shards and fragments\u27 of the situation-at-hand to resolve the needs of the individual patient for whom they care. This conceptualization of practice change in nursing could be analyzed with a particular emphasis on its implication for nursing epistemology, pedagogy and praxis
