Implementation of Blended Learning Modality in the New Normal

    Get PDF
The study aimed to assess the effectiveness of blended learning modality utilized by the teachers in terms of learning delivery, learning facilitation, and learner’s supports. The study used a descriptive research design and utilized an adopted survey questionnaire as a research instrument in gathering data. In addition, the grades four, five, and six pupils of Miramar Elementary School served as the respondents of this study. The study found that blended learning modality was overall effective in enhancing learner’s academic performance. This has become possible as teachers provided effective facilitations and supports. The finding of the study also implies that school has done rigorous efforts to ensure that there is a quality learning in this time of pandemic. Even though this type of learning modality is ‘somehow’ new to the teachers, the school has ensured that teachers are equipped with knowledge and skills to effectively assist both learners and parents in using the modality

Physiotherapist’s Perspective to Importance of Pathophysiology of Supraspinatus Tendonitis in Proper Rehabilitation of Pain and Dysfunction

    Get PDF
This article focuses on the physiotherapist perspective on the importance of pathophysiology of the Supraspinatus. Tendonitis is a very frequent cause of shoulder pain. The tendinopathy of supraspinatus most frequently affects people involved in various sports driven actions and above the head work in our daily living. It is thought to be caused by both intrinsic and extrinsic factors, but for simplification they were divided into Anatomical, Biomechanical, Vascularity, Activity related, Biochemical and Age-related factors. The following data-bases were searched for both published and unpublished studies in English language for the period of 1962 to 2022: PubMed, EMBRACE, MedLine, Web of Science, Scopus. The following terms were used to carry out the search: Shoulder, impingement, supraspinatus, pain, pathophysiology, physiotherapy implication, athletes, older adults. We conclude that it is important to have in-depth knowledge about these concepts of pathophysiology of pain in terms of all possible etiologies and the healing process which helps the physiotherapist to make wise decisions about the rehabilitation process

A Study of Relationship to Absentees and Score Using Machine Learning Method: A Case Study of Linear Regression Analysis

    Get PDF
Absenteeism from classrooms amongst students is an international problem that does not only affect Indian students. This research is focuses on absentees of student in class and score and has been carried out by using linear regression analysis. Linear regression analysis is one of excellent method of machine learning. The descriptive, student\u27s t-test, Pearson correlation, and regression models were used in this study\u27s statistical analysis. According to the results of this study, there are considerable variations between absentees and score  (t-test=-4.06075, p < 0.05). The study also discovered that absenteeism from class had a negative link with the score (r = -0.6088) . To investigate the impact of class absentees on student score, a regression model was created. This study will benefit both the college administration and the students by raising awareness of the disadvantages of not attending classes

Impact of Water Deficit Condition on Osmoregulation of the Brassica Species

    Get PDF
Oilseed rape and mustard are mostly grown on conserved soil water in the Indian sub-continent. These crops generally suffer from water stress at reproductive period of development. Thus, to obtain higher stable yields of Brassica species under routine stress conditions, it is essential to identify and understand the interactions of different morpho-physiological traits responsible for drought resistance. To explicate interaction of traits related to biochemical, physio-morphological factors for sustaining drought resistance in Brassica species. Dry mass production and partition in a plant is important when increased yield are sought. A osmometer like plant cell which allows only selective solutes to pass through elastic membrane, cell wall and the thin layer of cytoplasm and a vacuole containing an aqueous solution. To express drought tolerance turgidity of cells maintained by osmotic adjustments

Similarly, the researchers have inspected the stages of grief Dr. suffered from. For this, Textual Analysis of the book is conducted through Kubler-Ross Model of grief as a theoretical framework. The study is designed descriptively. The selected excerpts from the story are analyzed to reach the research question. The findings of the study reveal that Dr. Kalanithi had deeply suffered from five stages of grief as proposed by Ross, but his circle of grief goes in contrast. He randomly accepted, rejected, became angry and denied, and again accepted this turmoil. Relatively, this study is helpful for understanding the model and the storyline of Dr. Kalanithi in the realm of psychological literature

    Get PDF
For centuries girls were not treated equal to boys in many ways. The education of girls has become one of the most important concerns of 21st century not only at local level but also at the national level. Efforts by the government are on to ensure gender equality but government initiatives alone would not be sufficient to achieve this goal. Society must take initiative to create a climate in which there is no gender discrimination and girls have full opportunity to receive good quality elementary education without any barrier. The female literacy rate is also lower than the male literacy rate. The ground reality is deprivation and exploitation of girls especially from rural areas and those belonging to deprived sections of the society. Education is a powerful tool of social transformation. Hence, education for girls has to be paid special attention. Greater access for education must be ensured in the educational system. Gender sensitivity must be developed. A watch has to be kept on dropout rate of girls and corrective measures should be taken to check the dropout rates. There is no denying the fact that education of girls have made considerable progress in almost every aspect, but they still have to struggle against many handicaps and social evils in the male dominated society. The study found that there are 222 children in the age group of 06-14 years who are out of school from a single education zone. Taking this thing into consideration it seems a dream to achieve 100% literacy rate at elementary level if time bound steps are not taken to solve this problem. Hence, the study will help all stakeholders to become aware of the present situation and issues prevailing in the education zone Khag and can play an active role in solving these problems effectively and fruitfully.&nbsp
