The Impact of Training and Compensation on Employee Performance: The Moderating Role of Human Resource Quality
Background: The quality of human resources (HR) is a key determinant of organizational success, especially in structured work environments.Purpose: This study endeavored to ascertain the efficacy of performance-based training and compensation as a means of enhancing the quality of the human resources of the company. Design/Methodology/Approach: A quantitative survey was conducted on 60 employees of the Aviation Security Company in Yogyakarta, selected using simple random sampling. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire and analyzed using PLS-SEM. Result: The analysis yielded results that indicated a significant impact of training on employee performance at the Yogyakarta branch of the Aviation Security company. Furthermore, the findings suggest a direct impact of compensation on employee performance within the same context. Conclusion: The findings of this study indicate a direct effect of training and compensation on employee performance at the Yogyakarta branch of the Aviation Security company. While HR quality also contributes to performance outcomes, the study did not find sufficient evidence to support its role as a moderating variable. These results suggest that training and compensation remain central components in enhancing employee performance, regardless of variations in HR quality levels.Originality/Value (State of the art): This study introduces an integrated HRM model and reveals that HR quality, while impactful, does not moderate training or compensation effects within structured work systems.

Intention to Use PayLater among Young Muslim Consumers: The Role of Islamic Religious Commitment
Background: Compared to other consumer groups, young Indonesian consumers have a stronger desire for debt and overconsumption
Purpose: This study aims to develop and empirically test a model of the influence of materialism and global luxury brand admiration on conspicuous consumption and intention to use conventional PayLater, with Islamic religious commitment as a moderating variable.
Method: Data was collected from consumers on the island of Lombok, Indonesia. The island was chosen because it is widely known for its religious community. The study followed a quantitative approach. The respondents were young Muslim consumers between 17 and 35 years of age who were active shoppers in the marketplace. This research involved 364 conveniently selected respondents.
Findings: The study indicates that Islamic religious commitment can mitigate the influence of materialism on conspicuous consumption. This commitment also reduces the impact of conspicuous consumption on the willingness to go into debt by using conventional PayLater. The findings also reveal that young Muslim consumers desire global luxury brands to show off.
Conclusions: Islamic religious commitment weakens materialism\u27s influence on conspicuous consumption and intention to use PayLater because consumers understand and obey their religion\u27s teachings. Youthful materialistic Muslim consumers may seek comfort, equilibrium, and a high quality of life rather than a desire to flaunt their possessions.
Research implication: This study indicates that young Muslim consumers could become the largest users later. To assist them in avoiding riba, PayLater’s owners should provide services according to Islamic teaching and/or encourage them to restrict their use of its services to less than the interest-free period of 30 days

Penentuan Masa Simpan Ekstrak Etil Asetat Buah Andaliman Pada Kemasan Botol Kaca dan PET dengan Metode Accelerated Shelf-Life Test (ASLT)
Andaliman is an endemic flora in the region around Lake Toba and is commonly used as a spice by the Batak ethnic community. Andaliman fruit in extract form has a lot of potential as an antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. All the benefits possessed by andaliman extract have the potential to be widely used by the community. Therefore, it is important to know the shelf-life of the extract and the most suitable type of packaging to extend its shelf-life. This study aims to estimate the shelf-life of andaliman fruit extract and the packaging that can extend the shelf-life of the extract. The estimated shelf-life was calculated using the accelerated shelf-life test (ASLT) method using Arrhenius approach with the parameter of total flavonoids. This study used two types of packaging, namely glass bottle and plastic bottle stored at 37, 45, and 55 °C for 1 month with weekly testing. The results showed that andaliman fruit extract in plastic bottle packaging can last for 7.8 months at 37 °C and 6.8 months at 55 °C. While stored in glass bottle, andaliman fruit extract can last up to 12.4 months at 37 °C and 10.5 months at 55 °C. Based on these data, it is known that the shelf-life of extracts is influenced by storage temperature and packaging. The higher the temperature, the shorter the shelf-life and the smaller the permeability, the longer the shelf-life
