    Digital Capability, Promotion Strategy and AR-Based Social Media for Indonesian Businesswomen in West Java

    IWAPI West Java is a center for community collaboration which has an impact on increasing the creativity of residents, therefore the various programs it implements need support from all levels of society. Functionally, IWAPI activation is expected to be a means of locating the activities of women entrepreneurs in West Java Province as well as a means of providing and increasing access and mastery of technology for its users. Their role is also very potential for development in the Creative Economy sector, so these creative economy actors need to be continuously nurtured and empowered in a sustainable manner so that they can develop and progress further, considering that the female business actors who are members of IWAPI West Java still have very little knowledge, especially regarding with digital marketing and business management. Based on the description of target partner problems that has been described in the previous sub-chapter, the solutions offered by our team can be categorized into two aspects, namely the technology side and the management side regarding business management aspects and digital marketing tools which can be described as follows. First, providing workshops and assistance regarding how to manage a business effectively by implementing an integrated financial and operational management and integration system. Second, develop and implement a digital promotion strategy to promote and improve organizational operational optimization. Digital tools will be developed through providing workshops on social media marketing and other promotion tools. Third, providing a workshop on Augmented Reality Based Social Media Content. It is hoped that by creating interesting information and promotional content on social media using AR technology, the promotions created will be able to attract the attention and interest of potential consumers

    Land Management of Tidal Swamp Type B with Surjan System as Climate Change Anticipation

    Agriculture is one of the most vulnerable sectors to climate change, which can significantly impact national food security. In addition to climate change, agricultural development faces challenges, including the conversion of agricultural land for non-agricultural purposes. As a result, agricultural extensification has expanded into marginal lands, such as tidal swamplands. This paper presents a literature review on the characteristics of tidal swamplands, the principles of the surjan system, and its relevance in addressing climate change, particularly in the context of food security and ecosystem sustainability. Various literature sources were analyzed to assess the advantages, challenges, and sustainable management strategies of tidal swamplands. The review highlights the importance of effective land management to create suitable soil conditions for optimal plant growth and increased productivity. The surjan system, a land management approach practiced by tidal swampland farmers, demonstrates high adaptability in mitigating the impacts of climate change. This system integrates cultural, ecological, and economic perspectives by combining local knowledge with technological advancements. Key components of the surjan system include a one-way water management system with flap-gates and stoplogs, as well as the use of climate-adaptive crop varieties on tidal swamplands

    Analisis Repurchase Intention Produk Skincare Lokal melalui Live Commerce TikTok dengan Customer Satisfaction sebagai Variabel Intervening

    The development of the internet has brought significant changes to business activities, leading to the emergence of e-commerce. E-commerce continues to evolve and innovate, resulting in live commerce platforms, one of which is TikTok. The rising popularity of TikTok live commerce has caused a shift in consumer behavior, particularly in the skincare industry. This also creates new challenges for skincare businesses to achieve customer satisfaction and encourage repurchase intention. This study aims to understand the characteristics of TikTok users and how live streaming and promotions affect repurchase intention, with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. This quantitative research obtained primary data from questionnaires distributed to 130 respondents in the Jabodetabek area and analyzed using the SEM-PLS method. The results show that live streaming and promotions have a positive and significant impact on repurchase intention through customer satisfaction as an intervening variable

    Growth and health performance of pacific white shrimp fed diets with varying protein levels and citral supplementation

    Citral is known for its antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-diabetic properties. This study evaluates the effects of dietary citral supplementation on glucose absorption, growth, feed utilization, and health of Pacific white leg shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) fed different protein levels. A 2×3 factorial experiment was conducted with two variables: protein content (30% and 35%) and citral concentrations (0, 50, and 75 mg/kg). Shrimp (3.22 ± 0.01 g) were reared in 180 L tanks (30 shrimp/tank) for 60 days. Citral supplementation increased blood glucose levels in the first two hours post-feeding, with a faster return to basal levels. Growth and feed efficiency also improved with citral diets. After stress testing, citral and dietary protein showed a synergistic effect on superoxide dismutase (SOD), with the highest level in the 75 mg/kg citral, 35% protein diet, correlating with higher post-challenge survival. Total haemocyte count (THC), phenoloxidase (PO) activity, respiratory burst (RB), and blood clotting time improved with citral supplementation, while protein level only affected RB. After Vibrio challenge, higher protein increased THC and reduced clotting time, while citral enhanced THC, PO, and RB. The highest post-challenge survival was observed in shrimp fed 75 mg/kg citral with 35% protein (p<0.05). These findings suggest dietary citral supplementation may enhance shrimp health and resilience against stress and Vibrio infection.   Keywords: Citral, Cymbopogon citratus, post-prandial glucose, Litopenaeus vannamei, V. parahaemolyticus   ABSTRAK   Citral dikenal memiliki sifat antimikroba, antioksidan, dan anti-diabetes. Studi ini mengevaluasi efek suplementasi citral dalam pakan terhadap absorpsi glukosa, pertumbuhan, pemanfaatan pakan, dan kesehatan udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) yang diberi pakan dengan kadar protein berbeda. Percobaan faktorial 2×3 dilakukan dengan dua variabel: kadar protein (30% dan 35%) serta konsentrasi citral (0, 50, dan 75 mg/kg). Udang (3,22 ± 0,01 g) dipelihara dalam tangki 180 L (30 ekor/tangki) selama 60 hari. Suplementasi citral meningkatkan kadar glukosa darah dalam dua jam pertama setelah makan, dengan penurunan lebih cepat ke tingkat basal. Pertumbuhan dan efisiensi pakan juga meningkat dengan pakan yang mengandung citral. Setelah uji stres, citral dan protein menunjukkan efek sinergis terhadap kadar superoksida dismutase (SOD), dengan kadar tertinggi pada perlakuan 75 mg/kg citral dalam diet protein 35%, yang berkorelasi dengan tingkat kelangsungan hidup pasca tantangan yang lebih tinggi. Jumlah hemosit total (THC), aktivitas fenoloksidase (PO), respiratory burst (RB), dan waktu pembekuan darah meningkat dengan suplementasi citral, sementara kadar protein hanya berpengaruh pada RB. Setelah tantangan Vibrio, kadar protein yang lebih tinggi meningkatkan THC dan mempercepat pembekuan darah, sedangkan citral meningkatkan THC, PO dan RB. Kelangsungan hidup pasca tantangan tertinggi ditemukan pada udang yang diberi 75 mg/kg citral dengan protein 35% (p<0,05).     Aktivitas Antagonisme Cendawan Endofit terhadap Cendawan Penyebab Bintik Mata Cokelat Daun Kopi: Antagonism Activity of Endophytic Fungi Against Pathogenic Fungus That Cause Coffee Brown Eye Spot

    Kopi merupakan komoditas perkebunan yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi dan berperan sebagai sumber devisa negara. Namun demikian produktivitas dan kualitas kopi mengalami penurunan yang disebabkan oleh cendawan penyebab bintik mata cokelat pada daun tanaman kopi. Salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi pertumbuhan cendawan patogen tersebut ialah memanfaatkan cendawan endofit antagonisnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi cendawan penyebab bintik mata cokelat daun tanaman kopi dan cendawan endofit antagonisnya serta mengevaluasi potensi dan mekanisme antagonismenya. Cendawan patogen diisolasi dari daun tanaman kopi dengan gejala penyakit bintik mata cokelat, sedangkan cendawan endofit diisolasi dari daun kopi sehat yang dikumpulkan dari Perkebunan Kopi Desa Taji, Kecamatan Jabung, Kabupaten Malang. Masing-masing cendawan dimurnikan berdasarkan metode monospora. Isolat cendawan patogen diseleksi berdasarkan uji patogenisitas. Isolat cendawan endofit diuji potensi antagonisnya terhadap isolat cendawan patogen terpilih. Isolat cendawan endofit dengan potensi tertinggi menghambat pertumbuhan isolat cendawan patogen diidentifikasi berdasarkan similaritas sekuens 18S rDNA. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan bahwa isolat cendawan penyebab bintik mata cokelat memiliki similaritas sekuens 100% dengan Mycosphaerella coffeicola-PF2. Isolat cendawan endofit paling potensial mampu menghambat pertumbuhan isolat cendawan patogen, memiliki similaritas sekuens 99.94% dengan Colletotrichum sp.-EF1. Cendawan endofit Colletotrichum sp. menghambat pertumbuhan M. coffeicola dengan mekanisme kompetisi dan mikoparasit. Cendawan endofit Colletotrichum sp. dapat dikembangkan sebagai agens biopestisida untuk mengendalikan M. coffeicola penyebab penyakit bintik mata cokelat pada daun tanaman kopi.Antagonism Activity of Endophytic Fungi Against Pathogenic Fungus That Cause Coffee Brown Eye Spot Coffee is a high economic value commodity and is a source of foreign exchange for Indonesia. Coffee productivity and quality have decreased due to brown eye spot disease caused by fungi infection. One alternative method to overcome the growth of pathogenic fungi is to use endophytic fungi as an antagonistic biological agent. This study aims to identify the fungi causing coffee plant brown eye spot disease and its antagonistic endophytic fungi, and to evaluate the mechanisms and potential of antagonism. Pathogenic fungi were isolated from coffee leaves showing symptom of brown eye spot disease. Endophytic fungi were isolated from healthy leaves obtained from the Taji Village Coffee Plantation, Jabung District, Malang Regency. Each fungus was cultured and then purified using the monospore method. Pathogenic fungi isolates were selected based on the pathogenicity test. Endophytic fungi isolates were tested for their antagonistic properties against selected brown eye spot pathogenic fungi isolates and the endophytic fungus that had the highest potential to inhibit growth of the pathogenic fungi were identified based on 18S rDNA sequence similarity. The identification results show that the pathogenic fungus has 100% sequence similarity with Mycosphaerella coffeicola-PF2 while the antagonistic endophytic fungus has 99.94% similarity with Colletotrichum sp.-EF1. The endophytic fungi Colletotrichum sp. inhibits the growth of M. coffeicola by competition and mycoparasite mechanisms. The endophytic fungi Colletotrichum sp. can be developed as a biopesticide agent to control M. coffeicola which causes brown eyespot disease on coffee plant leaves

    Domestic Pigs as an Animal Model of Myocardial Infarction: a Comparison of Systolic and Diastolic Blood Flow Velocities of Cardiac Valves

    Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is still the leading cause of death according to WHO in 2021. CVD generally results in myocardial infarction (MI), which occurred after tissue ischemia. Echocardiography is most likely a diagnostic tool without invasive effects. This study aimed to compare the blood flow in pig research animals treated with ligases of the circumflex arteries. Measurements were made in the mitral valve (MV), tricuspid valve (TV), semilunar pulmonary valve (SLP), and semilunar aortic valve (AO) of velocity during systole (Vs), velocity during diastole (Vd), time average peak velocity (TAMAX), and blood flow pressure at three-time points: before ligase treatment, after acute infarction (60 min), and 8 weeks after ligase treatment. All parameters in MV group increased at 60 min and decreased at 8th weeks. On TV, TAMAX and pTAMAX decreased at 60 min and week 8. In SLP, VS, pVS, and Vd decreased at 60 min and increased at 8th week. The pVd and pTAMAX parameters decreased at 60 min and 8th week, while TAMAX increased at 60 min and decreased at 8th week. In AO, the TAMAX and pTAMAX parameters increased at 60 min and 8 weeks; the other parameters were similar to MV and TV patterns.Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is still the leading cause of death according to WHO in 2021.     Method Modification of Developing Ischemic Stroke Animal Models Using Intravenous Catheters in Rats

    In various parts of the world, including Indonesia, the incidence of ischemic stroke remains high, and its impact poses a significant burden. This condition is influenced by numerous limitations in ischemic stroke therapy. Research on ischemic stroke is therefore crucial to develop, making the creation of appropriate animal models a vital necessity. One of the most commonly used methods by researchers to create animal models is the Middle Cerebral Artery Occlusion (MCAO) method. However, in Indonesia, its application remains limited due to the lack of available facilities. Method modifications can be implemented to enable the development of animal models in Indonesia. This study employed modifications to the MCAO method on eight Sprague Dawley rats. The modification involved using an intravenous catheter to facilitate the insertion of the filament as an occluder in the middle cerebral artery of the rats. Based on clinical and pathological observations, it can be concluded that the modified MCAO method used in this study is suitable for creating ischemic stroke animal models.     Evaluasi Pertumbuhan, Produksi dan Kompatibilitas Pepaya Calina (Carica papaya) Hasil Grafting

    Pepaya (Carica papaya L.) merupakan salah satu tanaman buah tropis yang banyak diminati karena rasa dan kandungan nutrisinya, seperti vitamin A, vitamin C, asam folat, dan kalium. Namun, kesulitan mengidentifikasi jenis kelamin tanaman pepaya pada fase vegetatif menjadi kendala dalam budidaya. Sambung pucuk (grafting) merupakan langkah yang banyak digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efek sambung pucuk tanaman pepaya terhadap pertumbuhan, produksi dan kompatibilitas antara batang bawah dan batang atas. Penelitian dilakukan di Kebun Tajur 2 PKHT, Bogor, dilanjutkan dengan analisis pascapanen di Laboratorium Departemen Agronomi dan Hortikultura, IPB. Dua jenis batang bawah yang digunakan adalah pepaya Sukma (C-S) dan pepaya liar (C-L), yang keduanya disambung dengan varietas Calina (IPB 1) sebagai batang atas. Sebanyak 64 tanaman ditanam dalam 8 barisan, masing-masing terdiri atas 8 tanaman. Lima barisan menggunakan batang bawah C-L, sedangkan tiga barisan menggunakan batang bawah C-S. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t pada taraf 5% dengan Minitab 19. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa tanaman dengan batang bawah C-L memiliki laju pertumbuhan vegetatif yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan C-S pada hampir seluruh parameter, kecuali lingkar batang sambungan, lingkar batang bawah, dan tinggi batang bawah. Tanaman C-L juga berbunga lebih awal dan menghasilkan lebih banyak bunga hermafrodit, yang berkontribusi pada jumlah buah lonjong yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan tanaman C-S. Selain itu, buah dari tanaman C-L memiliki tekstur daging yang lebih lunak, kulit yang lebih keras, serta nilai Padatan Terlarut Total (PTT) yang lebih tinggi. Kedua jenis batang bawah yang digunakan tidak menunjukkan gejala inkompatibilitas selama masa pengamatan. Kata kunci: batang bawah, Calina-Liar, Calina-Sukm

    Panen dan Pasca Panen Bunga Potong Lili (Lilium sp.) di Perusahaan Bianca Lelies, Heerhugowaard, Belanda

    Lili (Lilium sp.) merupakan tanaman hias dari famili Liliaceae, bunganya yang indah dan harum. Manfaat lili selain sebagai dekorasi, juga digunakan dalam parfum dan simbol budaya. Perbanyakan melalui umbi, atau stek sisik umbi. Lili tumbuh optimal di lingkungan beriklim sedang hingga dingin. Penanganan panen dan pasca panen yang baik pada bunga potong lili dapat memperpanjang masa hidup sehingga bunga akan sampai di tangan konsumen dengan keadaan segar dan indah. Nilai komersial bunga potong lili dapat dipertahankan lebih lama dengan penyimpanan pada suhu yang tepat. Tujuan percobaan ini adalah mengetahui dan mempelajari pertumbuhan, proses panen dan pascapanen bunga potong lili. Data kuantitatif (numerik) diolah dengan menggunakan rataan, persentase dan standar deviasi, uji t-student taraf α=5%, uji f, dan uji lanjut DMRT (Duncan’s Multiple Range Test). Data kualitatif dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif P. Pengamatan percobaan dilakukan terhadap empat varietas lili yang diproduksi oleh Bianca Lelies yaitu Arletta, Canberra, Helvetia, dan Tisento. Terdapat perbedaan nyata tinggi tanaman, terlihat pada varietas Helvetia nyata lebih pendek dibanding varietas lainnya.  Perbedaan sangat nyata panjang kuntum ditunjukkan pada varietas Canberra, antara tanaman yang berasal dari umbi berukuran perimeter 16-18 cm dan 14-16 cm.  Penyimpanan 2 x 24 jam pada penyimpanan suhu rendah (2-3 °C) memberi pengaruh nyata terhadap masa hidup bunga lili yaitu memperlambat kemunduran fisik lebih dari satu hari.     Kelapa sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.)  merupakan tanaman berumur panjang sehingga kemampuan lahan dalam menyediakan unsur hara  menjadi suatu kebutuhan yang penting. Manajemen pemupukan di lapangan harus dilakukan secara optimal untuk mencapai pemupukan yang efisien dan efektif sesuai jenis pupuk, dosis, waktu, cara aplikasi, serta pengawasan pemupukan yang lebih tepat. BMP atau praktik pengelolaan terbaik adalah tindakan agronomis untuk menemukan teknik terefektif agar perbedaan produksi aktual dengan potensinya berkurang serta menekan dampak terhadap lingkungan dengan memakai sumber daya produksi secara efisien. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Mesuji, dari bulan Februari hingga Juni 2023. Penelitian bertujuan mempelajari pemupukan kelapa sawit, serta menguraikan perbandingan pengelolaan pemupukan kebun yang dikelola secara komersial dan kebun yang dikelola dengan praktik Best Management Practices. Pengamatan yang dilakukan yaitu pada rekomendasi dan realisasi Pemupukan, ketepatan pemupukan, dan data produksi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji t-student. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan BMP dan standar tidak menunjukkan perbedaan dalam hasil maupun input pemupukan. Untuk hasil pada blok BMP dan standar tidak berbeda nyata dan belum terlihat secara signifikan karena input masih sama, mengingat praktik BMP di kebun Mesuji baru dilakukan dalam rentang 2 tahun terakhir.
