Settlement of Criminal Actions Not Appearing Without Permission Through Military Discipline Legal Mechanism in Order Unit and Personnel Development
The law that applies specifically to military personnel consists of formal and material Military Criminal Law, apart from that there is also military discipline law which is regulated by law. Military crimes can be divided into two, namely pure military crimes and mixed military crimes. One of the pure military crimes is the crime of not being present without permission. The crime of being present without permission is generally regulated in CHAPTER III Book II of the Military Criminal Code, but this crime is also regulated in the Military Discipline Law as a violation of military discipline. With these conflicting legal regulations, the author then raises this problem into a thesis. The problem formulation that the author presents is: How is military disciplinary law applied to the crime of not being present without permission and what are the consequences of resolving THTI crimes through military disciplinary legal mechanisms in the face of unit and personnel development? There are three possibilities for resolving THTI crimes through military disciplinary legal channels. . The research method in this thesis is normative juridical using military discipline law enforcement theory, unit and personnel development theory and legal certainty theory. The conclusion of this research is that the criminal act of not being present without permission can be resolved through military disciplinary law, namely a criminal act in the narrow sense, namely Article 85 1 and Article 86 1 of the KUHPM. Completion of legal discipline will of course have an impact on the development of the unit and personnel concerned in the form of postponement of rank or education
Determinants of the Dynamics of Malaria Infection Transmission in Mining Areas: Literature Review
Introduction: The incidence rate of malaria globally has seen significant fluctuations over the past few years. According to the World Health Organization's World Malaria Report 2023, in 2022, there were an estimated 249 million cases of malaria globally, exceeding the pre-pandemic level of 233 million in 2019 by 16 million cases. Illegal miners are highly vulnerable to malaria due to their work in remote, ecologically disturbed areas, where their activities create breeding grounds for malaria-carrying mosquitoes, significantly increasing their risk of infection.
Objective: The aim of this literature review is to find the rsik factors of malaria transmission in arrtisanal mining areas population
Method: A PRISMA flow diagram-based has been used to find the most resonant journal research related to malaria transmission in mining areas population. The articles to be analyzed are searched using keywords with Boolean rules such as ("Risk factor" OR "Determinant") AND "Malaria" AND "Transmission" AND ("Mining Area" OR "Mining location"). The chosen papers are the findings of research that meets the objectives and is published in 2020–2024 in English with an international quality
Result: Search results from the PubMed, Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect databases yielded 9 articles selected for review published between 2020 to 2024. Research on these articles was conducted in various countries, including Brazil, Venezuela, Indonesia, Gambia, French Guiana (FG), and other countries. A total of 11 articles were carefully reviewed to gather information regarding risk factor of malaria in mining areas in this literature review.
Conclusion: Improving knowledge, healthcare access, and preventive practices is essential to reducing malaria transmission in high-risk
The Impact of Booklet-Based Interventions on PHBS Knowledge and Attitudes Among Household in Peniti Village
Introduction: PHBS, or Clean and Healthy Living Behavior, is a set of actions individuals, families, and communities consciously undertake to enhance and preserve their health, as well as prevent diseases. To elevate public awareness and attitudes toward household PHBS, several strategies can be employed, including implementing health education programs. One such approach involves utilizing booklet media in the household PHBS education process to address community knowledge and attitudes.
Objective: This research seeks to enhance community awareness and understanding of PHBS within household settings in Peniti Dalam Village, Segedong District.
Method: This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The research was conducted in Peniti Dalam Village, Segedong District, from July to September 2024. The entire community of Peniti Dalam Village, Segedong District, served as the population for this research. A sample of 35 respondents was selected using purposive sampling techniques. Univariate and bivariate analyses, including the paired sample t-test, were utilized for data analysis.
Result: The average attitude score increased from 1.40 in the pretest to 1.49 in the posttest, indicating a difference of 0.09. Univariate analysis revealed that, following PHBS education using booklet media, 48.6% of households demonstrated good to excellent knowledge, compared to the pre-education level. Similarly, the percentage of households with positive attitudes toward PHBS rose from 40% to 48.6% after receiving the booklet-based education. The results of the paired t test on the knowledge variable obtained a p value of 0.000 (> 0.05) and an attitude of 0.03 (> 0.05). This demonstrates that there is a significant difference between knowledge and attitudes before and after health education using booklet media. This suggests a significant association between attitudes, knowledge, and household PHBS education using booklet media.
Conclusion: The findings indicate that household PHBS education through booklet media can successfully alter knowledge and attitudes. We recommend this technique for disseminating health information due to its demonstrated effectiveness in enhancing public awareness and attitudes, ultimately leading to a healthier society
