The purposes of this research the examine the effectiveness various concentrations neem leaf ekstract on the intensity of attack Liriomyza spp on shallot Lembah Palu variety . Field research was carried out in Guntarano Village, Tanantovea Subdistrict, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi.  This research conducted from February to April 2016 .The experiment was done using Randomized Complete Block  Design with three replications, consists of six  treatments, i.e. P0 : control (without aplication neem leaf ekstract); P1: neem leaf ekstract 10 gr /litre;  P2 : neem leaf ekstract 20 gr / litre; P3 : neem leaf ekstract 30 gr / litre; P4 : neem leaf ekstract 40 gr / litre; P5 : neem leaf ekstract 50 gr / litre. To find out the effect of threatment, the analysis of variance, and the real influence is continued with the standard  ά = 0.05 BNT test.  The results showed that use of seed and leaf extracts of neem plant can control Liriomyza spp attack, only 3,04 percent of attack rate and shallot Lembah Palu variety productivity is 3,02/area

This study aims to determine and analyze the factors that affect the yield of gogo rice plants in Morowali District, Central Sulawesi Province. This research was conducted in Morowali District, Central Sulawesi Province. The method used in sampling in this study is simple randomly selected. In this simple random technique each member of the population has the same opportunity to become a sample. This study analyzes the function of results using multiple linear regression analysis. Variable identification is done by listing production factors that are thought to have an effect on the process of upland rice yields. On the factors of production the variables that are affected (dependent variable) are results. While the variables that are variable (independent) affect are the area of land, seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and labor. The results showed that the factors of production of land area, seeds, labor, fertilizers, and pesticides jointly influence the yield of upland rice. Variable land area partially has a significant effect on upland rice yields, with the highest average yield obtained in land area of ≤ 0.50 ha (average 3.76 t / ha). Partial variables of seed, labor, fertilizer, and pesticide did not significantly influence the upland rice yield respectively

This study aims to study and determine the behavior of farmers in the use of pesticides on shallots in Wombo Mpanau Village, Tanantovea District. This study uses a simple random method. The data obtained is collected, processed and analyzed. Analysis was carried out to determine the frequency of data in each variable. Primary data obtained through interviews were analyzed to provide a concise picture of groups of data in one frequency table. Types of pests that attack onion in Wombo Mpanau Village are leaf caterpillars, leaf flies, trips, flour dew, and fusarium wilt. The most widely used pest control method is the use of chemical pesticides, which reaches 70% of respondents. The knowledge of farmers on the application of pesticides is relatively good, namely 100% of respondents apply pesticides when there are symptoms of attack and if other controls are unable to overcome the pest attack. Knowledge of farmers on the use of doses of pesticides is relatively good, namely 100% of respondents use the dosage according to the recommendations listed on the packaging. The actions of farmers when applying pesticides in general are not mixing pesticides. The majority of respondents have taken the right action in terms of storing semrot and pesticides in a special place. But on the other hand the awareness of farmers is still low, because there are still many farmers who wash sprayers in rivers or ditches

This study aims to study and determine the effect of various doses of Moringa leaf Mole by adding banana peels to the growth and yield of sweet corn plants (Zea mays saccharata Sturt.) Because they see that the development of environmentally friendly agriculture is a must for the continuity of production and health. These efforts have been recommended by the government, one of the efforts made is to conduct an organic farming business. This research was carried out in the Kalukubula Sub-District, Dolo District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. This study used a one-factor randomized block design (RBD), grouping was done based on the direction of the arrival of sunlight by treating various doses of MOL Moringa leaves with the addition of banana peels. The treatment tried consisted of 4 levels, namely: PM0: No MOL (Control), PM1: 200 ml + 2 liters of water / plot, PM2: 400 ml + 2 liters of water / plot, PM3: 600 ml + 2 liters of water / plot . Each treatment that was tried was repeated three (3) times, then there were 3 x 4 = 12 experimental units. To determine the effect of the treatment that was tried on plants, a variety of analyzes and treatments were carried out which significantly affected followed by a BNJ test α = 0.05. The results showed that the response of various doses of mole dun moringa with the addition of banana peels to the growth and yield of sweet corn on observing the number of leaves, stem circumference, mixed age, ear length, ear circumference, ear weight (g), ear weight per plot ( kg) and weight of ear per hectare (t) did not have a significant effect, while the treatment of Moringa leaf Mole with the addition of banana peels at a dose of 600 ml + 200 liters of water (PM3) significantly affected plant height at 15, 30 and 45 HST (28 , 70, 52.15 and 96.28) and the length of leaves at the ages of 15, 30 and 45 HST (20,14, 41,07 and 67,32) in sweet corn plants

One area that has oil palm plantations is Makmur Jaya Village, Tikke Raya District, Pasangkayu Regency (formerly called North Mamuju Regency), West Sulawesi Province. One of the problems in the cultivation of oil palm is weeds. This study aims to determine the types of puzzle weeds in the oil palm plantation in Makmur Jaya Village, Tikke Raya District, Pasangkayu Regency, West Sulawesi Province. Based on the research, there were 3 types of puzzle weeds in the Makmur Jaya Village oil palm plantation, namely Cyperus compressus, C.rotundus, and Fimbristylis milliacea. Riddle weeds have leaves similar to narrow-leaf weeds, but have a mendong stem (consisting of only one long segment) and are also triangular in shape. Riddle weeds have allelopathic compounds which make it difficult for palm oil plants to grow

The aims of this experiments was to evaluate the appropriate concentration of BAP for shoots induction of orange via in vitro culture. This experiment was conducted in Plant Biotechnology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University from Mei to August 2017.  This experiment used a Completely Randomized Design with five treatments, namely 0.5 ppm BAP, 1.0 ppm BAP, 1.5 ppm BAP, 2.0 ppm and 2.5 ppm..  Data was analyzed using analysis of variance and differences between means of the treatments were determined by Honestly Significant Difference test at 5% level.  Results of this experiment indicated that the most suitable concentration of BAP for the shoots induction of orange was the medium culture supplemented with 0.5 ppm BAP. In such medium composition, the quickest and the highest number of shoot formation was obtained as well as the highest number of leaf formation at 6 weeks after culture, namely 3.02 days after culture, 1.52 shoots and 2.40 leaves per explant, respectively
