    DINAMIKA POPULASI DAN STATUS PENANGKAPAN IKAN BAUNG (Hemibagrus nemurus C.V) DI WILAYAH HULU SUNGAI BARITO KALIMANTAN TENGAH, INDONESIA

    Keputusan pengelolaan perikanan harus didasarkan pada bukti-buktu ilmiah,diantara kelemahan pengelolaan perairan umum di dunia saat ini ialah terbatasnya informasi-informasi ilmiah dan tidak meratanya upaya-upaya konservasidi semua wilayahtropis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan data-data ilmiah tentang kajian dinamika populasi ikan Mystus nemurus (parameter pertumbuhan, rekrutmen, mortalitas, laju eksploitasi) dan status penangkapannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk parameter pertumbuhan ikan menggunakan metode von Bertalanffy, komposisi umur (kohort), rekrutmen di analisis dengan program FISAT II, estimasi nilai t0 berdasarkan model Pauly (1983), pendugaan mortalitas alami (M) berdasarkan model Pauly (1980), pendugaan mortalitas total (Z) berdasarkan model Beverton dan Holt (1996) dan status penangkapan dengan membandingkan ukuran panjang ikan pertama kali tertangkap (Lc) dengan pertama kali matang gonad (Lm) berdasarkan Sparre dan Venema (1999).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Nilai parameter pertumbuhan ikan M. nemurus ialah K sebesar 0,8/tahun dan nilai L∞ sebesar 28,35cmdan nilai t0 -0,08 tahun, persamaan pertumbuhan ikan metode Von Bertalanffy ialah Lt = 28,35{1-exp-0,8(t + 0,08)}, rekrutmen terjadi sepanjang tahun dan puncaknya terjadi pada bulan Juni, laju mortalitas total (Z) ikan sebesar 2,42/tahun, laju mortalitas alami (M) 1,59/tahun,laju mortalitas penangkapan (F) 0,83/tahun, laju eksploitasi (E) 0,34/tahun dan status penangkapan ikan M. nemurus di hulu sungai Barito tergolong growth overfishing.   A fisheries management decision must be based on scientific evidence, among the weaknesses of freshwater management in the world today are limited scientific information and unequal conservation efforts in all tropical regions.The purpose of this study was to obtain scientific data about the study of the dynamics population of the Mystus nemurus (growth parameters, recruitment, mortality, exploitation rate) and fishing status.The research method used for growth parameters used the von Bertalanffy method, age composition (cohort), recruitment was analyzed by the FISAT II program, estimated t0 value based on Pauly's (1983) model, estimation of natural mortality (M) based on Pauly's (1980) model, Estimation of total mortality (Z) based on the Beverton and Holt (1996) model and fishing status by comparing the Length at first capture (Lc) with Length at first mature  (Lm) based on the Sparre and Venema (1999). The results showed that the growth parameter value of M. nemurus was K of 0.8/year, L∞ value of 28.35 cm and a value of t0 -0.08 years, the equation for the growth of fish using the Von Bertalanffy method was Lt = 28.35 {1 -exp-0.8 (t + 0.08)}, recruitment occurs throughout the year and the peak occurs in June, the total mortality rate (Z) of fish is 2.42/year, the natural mortality rate (M) is 1.59/years, the fishing mortality rate (F) 0.83/year, the exploitation rate (E) 0.34/year and the fishing status of M. nemurus in Barito upstream are classified as growth overfishing

    Penelitian Kualitas Lingkungan Perairan Sekitar In-pit Pond Paringin Untuk Kegiatan Perikanan Di PT. Adaro Indonesia bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik kualitas air yang terdapat di sekitar In-pit Pond Paringin PT. Adaro Indonesia untuk kegiatan perikanan dan menentukan status perairan untuk kegiatan perikanan yang sesuai di sekitar In-pit Pond Paringin PT. Adaro Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan yakni purposive sampling, dilakukan di tiga lokasi dengan tiga titik yang berbeda. Hasil pengukuran di sekitar In-pit Pond Paringin PT. Adaro Indonesia untuk parameter suhu sebesar 28,6-30,3°C dan parameter kecerahan sebesar 0–128,5 cm. Hasil pengukuran parameter kimia berupa pH sebesar 6,88-7,6, parameter DO sebesar 4,38-5,48 mg/L, sedangkan  hasil analisis di laboratorium untuk parameter Amoniak 0,01-0,07 mg/L, parameter Nitrat sebesar 0,03-0,10 mg/L, parameter Nitrit sebesar 0,004-0,75 mg/L, parameter Sulfida <0,001 mg/L. Hasil perhitungan dengan metode STORET didapatkan bahwa status kualitas air di sekitar In-pit Pond Paringin PT. Adaro Indonesia tercemar ringan.   The study Status of the Environmental Quality of the Waters around the Paringin Pond In-pit for Fisheries Activities at PT. Adaro Indonesia aims to determine the characteristics of water quality around the PT. Adaro Indonesia Paringin Pond for fishing activities and determine the status of waters for fisheries activities that are suitable around the Pond In-pit Paringin PT. Adaro Indonesia. The method used is purposive sampling, carried out in three locations with three different points. The measurement results around PT. Adaro Indonesia In-pit Pond Paringin for temperature parameters of 28.6-30.3°C and brightness parameters of 0-128.5 cm. The results of the measurement of chemical parameters in the form of a pH of 6.88-7.6, DO parameters of 4.38-5.48 mg/L, while the results of analysis in the laboratory for Ammonia parameters 0.01-0.07 mg/L, Nitrate parameters of 0.03-0.10 mg/L, Nitrite parameter of 0.004-0.75 mg/L, Sulfide parameter <0.001 mg/L. The calculation results using the STORET method show that the status of water quality around PT. Adaro Indonesia's In-pit Pond Paringin is lightly polluted

    KAPASITAS PENANGKAPAN IKAN PELAGIS KECIL DI PERAIRAN PANTAI BARAT SULAWESI SELATAN

    Fishing capacity can be regarded as a total mobilized capability made byfishing fleet to produce catch. This research analyze trend and fishing capacities ofsmall pelagic fish in off west coast of South Sulawesi. There are 8 significant fishingunit operated in off west coast of South Sulawesi ; these are payang, beach seine,purse seine, drift gill net, encircling gillnet, fixed gill net, boat liftnet, fixed liftnet. Thefish production data cover 6 types of fish, i.e. Indian mackerel, anchovy, sardines,scads, and trevally caught by 8 types fishing unit. Annual fishing effort and CPUEover a period of 30 years (1977-2006) were calculated after a standardizationconsidering variability in capture capability and fisheries development. Analysis wasconducted for identifyng CPUE trend and fishing capacities of small pelagic fish using Peak to Peak Analysis. The study area was divided into three regions, i.e, aroundSpermonde Island (zone A), off Polman and Pinrang district (zone B) and off Majenedan Mamuju district (zone C). CPUE trend in three water zone showed to decreasefor 30 year of period, where decreasing CPUE trend at zone C was higher than otherzones. Fishing capacities in zone A need to be reduced of fishing effort for 6%, whereas in zone B was 5% and zone C was 11%

The results of this research are (1) the process of making fish crackers weeding catfish consists of fish,to grind the fish meat, mixed, steaming, slicing, and drying, and packaging; (2) The profit in this business is IDR 1,213,011.00/year and the value of R/C ratio in the amount of 1.18; (3) fish cracker business finansal catfish are eligible to continue, withinvestment payback time is short (approximately 4 months); (4) distribution channelcatfish fish crackers by semi direct-marketing areas include Banjar District, Banjarmasin, Palangkaraya and Kapuas (Central Kalimantan), and Samarinda (East Kalimantan): (5) Management available on catfish fish cracker business is done by one person and assisted by subordinates for each part so that there is no fundamental dividing line between the various functions; (6) The results of the analysis of internal factors and external factors, which include: the addition ofproduction capacity, market expansion, service improvements, price competitive products, improvement of business management, and knowledge about consumer tastes

    This study aims to look at the effectiveness of injection of sGnRH-a + ad andheight of water on fish spawning snakehead, Channa striata in the concreat tank.The research was conducted at the Wet Laboratory Aguaculture Departement Faculty of Fisheries University of Lambung Mangkurat. There are two main factors as treatment namely: Factor A = dose of sGnRH-a + ad with three levels (A1 = 0.2 ml /kg; A2 = 0.4 ml / kg; A3 = 0.6 ml / kg) and factor B = height of water with three levels(B1 = 15 cm; B2 = 20 cm; B3 = 25 cm) made repeated 4 times to obtain 36 units of the experiment. Observations made on the parameters: body weight, gonad weight,liver weight, estradiol-17β, egg diameter, IGS, IHS, fecundity, fertilization andhatching degrees. The strongest relationship obtained from the treatment of observational parameter is IGS and IHS. Of treatment given the latent time of theobtained range between 12 hours to 25 hours, fecundity between 5047 to 5072grains, the degree of fertilization between 60 to 60.3 percent and 76.6 degrees fertilization between 83.9 per cent up.     The purpose of this research is to know (1) the description of the commonly used lalangit, (2) the amount of the catch (catch) are obtained from the difference insome brands of nylon that is used, (3) brands of nylon materials as the best lalangit (horizontal gillnet). The research method used was Random Design Group (RAK) with 6 treatments IE 6 types of different brands of nylon.     Kintap coastal area is one of the areas that developed as a coastal fishery production. Area-based coastal fisheries as Kintap Muara district is consisting of the main activities of fishing activity in the form of Fish Landing Base (PPI) with a variety of amenities. Coastal areas in the village of Muara Kintap pattern fisheries are people who are known to pattern middlemen (Indonesian : penyambang) and developed since 2003. Study was conducted to see how the existence determines penyambang ships for fishing communities and the fishing estuary fishing port Kintap with : identifying the impact of fishing communities penyambang vessel catch and fishing port Muara Kintap; analyze business profits as penyambang ship; formulate strategy development as a fishing port economic zone fisheries. Technique uses qualitative and quantitative methods with a descriptive approach.The existence of the ship penyambang was a positive impact on fishermen catch. Fishermen catch will work more effectively and provide capital as a form of business development, while for the Port of Muara Kintap, penyambang ship has negatif impact on the port becauses penyambang ship can not be loading and unloading in theport. So that data from the catches of fishermen willnot be sould to penyambang as data the basis for determining the policy is difficult to know and retribution for PAD port no. Average profit businesses penyambang vessel during fishing season is Rp.2.773.611,00 per month while the crew (ABK) get Rp.1.386.806, 00 per month and crew still above the local minimum wage (UMR) South Kalimantan Province of Rp.1.337.500.00.Fishing harbor in the village of Muara Kintap, Tanah Laut District as district fisheries economy still needs a better development strategy so that the presence of the ship penyambang can contribute to Improved Income (PAD) Kintap Estuary Fishery Port

    KOMPOSISI ASAM LEMAK DAN KANDUNGAN LOGAM BERAT KECAP BERBAHAN BAKU KEONG SAWAH (Bellamya javanica)

    The purpose of this research is to know the fatty acid composition and heavy metal content of soy sauce snail (Bellamya javanica), which is fermented for seven days with addition of 1.5% bromelin enzyme and papain1% enzyme. The fatty acid composition of soy sauce was analyzed by Chromatography Gas and heavy metal content (Cu and Pb) using AAS. The results showed that the fatty acid component as one of the volatile components in soy bean snacks was identified by 8 types of fatty acids, namely caprylic acid, lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitoleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid anddominated by the components of palmiic acid and stearic acid. The soybean snail saucewith a combination of bromelin enzyme treatment of 1.5% and 1% fermented papain enzyme for seven days showed negative contaminated Cu, but positively polluted by Pb2,285 ppm

    The purpose of this study was to estimate the carrying capacity of coastal waters ofthe pond effluent. The data required for analysis of mass balance models of carryingcapacity is based on the total ammonia-nitrogen (NH3-N) concentration in coastalwaters. Estimation of carrying capacity with the concept mass balance model usingthe formula Tchobanoglous (1990) and Predalumpaburt (1996) in Tookwinas (1998)which has been modified by including the formula Widigdo and Pariwono (2001). Carrying capacity of coastal waters of Sebamban Baru Village, Tanah BumbuRegency maximum pond area calculation may be developed for aquaculture area of 412,583 hectares, this shows that the concentration of ammonia released by thepond has not been an impact on the quality of coastal waters because the existingpond area is new opened an area of 368.542 ha has not exceeded the carryingcapacity of the mass balance

In General, this research aims to apply the techniques of planning regional development Balangan Regency. Whereas in particular this research aims to know the roleof the fisheries sector to the economy and setting the Balangan Regency alternative strategies for the development of fisheries sector in the framework of regional autonomy in Balangan Regency. Research methods used are descriptive qualitative, and used case studies approaches and analysis of the data used descriptive analysis, analysis of profit and SWOT analysis (Strategic Issues and problem identification). Based on the results of the SWOT analysis and the calculation of weighting matrix with QSP obtained the alternative order of precedence for the development strategy of the fishery as follows: 1) local government commitment to the development of the fisheriessector through the allocation of the budget, 2) of local government through the Office of PTPHPP improves the role of BBI and UPR to produce quality seeds and stem and have a certification, 3) increases the role and function of fisheries extension, officers, 4) increase the utilization potential of land fish breeding with commodities consider superior highvalued economically, 5) local government through the Department of agriculture TPHPP do coaching and mentoring to the public so as to enhance the community's knowledge andskills in mastering technology, 6) to facilitate the community to access capital to banking,7) need for regulatory policy and real step to cope with the high price of feed aquaculturethrough the improvement of irrigation channels and BBI, 8) local governments throughthe Exchange Service for industry, trade and cooperatives facilitates map marketing linefor fish farmers so that the price of fish could remain stable, 9) need to do coaching andmentoring to the community especially to the processed products to be verified products,10) Improved infrastructure facilities and function facilities and infrastructure production,110 of local Government more for socialize skim credit for the people KUR through thesocialization to the community
