    The problem of the breeding of the snakeskin gouramy management was theinsufficient maximum degree of hatching eggs which only reached 80.03 %. One of the ways to overcome the problem was to improve the quality of eggs through the improvement of quality of feed given to the mothers of snakeskin gouramy withsupplements and food additives. This study aimed to evaluate the reproductive response of female snakeskin gouramy against the addition of supplements and feed additive, suchas: fish oil, vitamin E and extracts of ginger. The tested fish was female snakeskin gouramy with a minimum age of 8 months and were at maturity level of TKG I or TKGII. The Food used in this study were 3 kinds of commercial feed with the addition of vegetable oil (FCO), the feed with the addition of fish oil and vitamin E (FOT) and the feed with the addition of fish oil, vitamin E and extracts of ginger (FOTG).The results showed that FOT and FOTG could produce gonadosomatic index (GSI), fecundity, egg diameter, hatching eggs and survival rate better than the FCO feed.This occured presumably because of the effect of the addition of vitamin E that prevent edoxidation of fatty acids, so that fat could be used completely. As a result, the quality and quantity of eggs increased. GSI value on all treatments ranged from 3.07 to 3.57 %,fecundity ranged between 3,875 to 5,355 grains, egg diameter ranged from 0.70 to 0.93mm, hatching ranged from 78.12 to 89.58 % and survival rate ranged between 51 to 83 % in all treatments. Food with the addition of fish oil and vitamin E could produce better diameter of eggs and survival rate, while feed with the addition of fish oil, vitamin E and extracts of ginger could generate value gonadosomatic index (GSI), fecundity and hatching eggs higher

    This study aims to determine the water quality of the activities Keramba JaringApung (KJA) based on Pollutant Index and Air Quality Standard Quality specified in PP.82/2001 on Watershed of Batu Kambing, Riam Kiwa and Mali-Mali.This study uses pollutant load analysis and Pollutant Index based Kep.MenLH No.115 of 2003, Kep.MenLH No. 110/2003 on Based Determination of Water Pollution loadon Water Resources and laboratory analysis.From the research results Pollutant Load (BP) of each - each station are: Station 1(Batu Kambing) PO4 levels ranging from 0.40 kg/day and NO3 ranging from 0.36 kg/day.Station 2 (Riam Kiwa) for PO4 levels ranging from 0.42 kg/day and NO3 ranging from 0,012 kg/day.     This research aims to determine the use of hazardous chemicals in fishery products that are marketed in the city of Makassar. In this study used the Accidental Sampling Technique. Samples are taken from the center of Makassar souvenirs, traditional markets, and modern markets. The fishery products used as samples are crackers, meatballs, and brains. Hazardous chemicals evaluated for use are borax and formalin. The samples were analyzed using a test kit and colorimeter at the BIOCHEME Laboratory (Healthy Food) Department of Chemistry,University of Brawijaya. The results show that fish meatball products marketed in Makassar City do not contain borax, but contain formalin 11.2 - 13.13 ppm. Brain-brain products do not contain borax and do not contain formaldehyde, fish/shrimp crackers marketed in Makassar City do not contain formaldehyde but 33% contain borax with an average, level of 10.39 ppm

    The research was  The aim of the research was to carry out to the economic valuation and the use of mangrove resource Tongke-Tongke at the mangrove area Sinjai District, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Survey research approach was used in this research and data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The result showed that mangroves were utilized to capture fisheries and wood sources utilization. The economic value of mangrove was $USD 4,330.95 /ha/year. Capture fisheries are the largest contribution, up to 94,47 percent, while mangrove wood utilization 5,53 percent to be a most important income source for society in coast who live in the vicinity. Therefore, coastal management policy was required to be developed by considering the impact on the socioeconomics of mangrove utilization on the community at area coast, especially related to coastal utilization area change

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  pengaruh gulma air  air (kiambang, kayu apu dan eceng gondok) yang di tambahkan probiotik terhadap pertumbuhan dan survival rate ikan papuyu (Anabas testudineus Bloch).  Penelitian menggunakan rancangan Acak lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan.  Jumlah ikan yang digunakan sebanyak 225 ekor.Perlakuan A (Eceng gondok yang di fermentasidenganAsfergillussp+ bahan yang lainnya), perlakuan B (Kiambang yang di fermentasidenganAsfergillussp+ bahan yang lainnya). Perlakuan C (KayuApu yang di fermentasidenganAsfergillussp+ bahan yang lainnya) dan perlakuan D (pakan komersial) Data yang diperoleh dianalisis ragam dan bila terdapat pengaruh nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji wilayah ganda Duncan.  Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini meliputi; pertumbuhan  berat dan panjang relatif, survival rate, rasio konversi  pakan dan parameter kualitas air (pH, DO, NH3 dan suhu).  Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan penambahan JamurAsfergillussp padapakan yang berbasis gulma air (Enceng gondok, Kiambang danKayuapu) menghasilkan  pertumbuhan berat, konversi pakan serta survival rate ikan lelesangkuriangyang tidak berbeda nyata dengan pakan komersil

    Kapal pancing tonda paling dominan digunakan nelayan di kabupaten sinjai dibuat secara tradisional dan tidak memiliki perencanaan sebelumnya sehingga kestabilan kapal pada saat pengoperasian tidak diketahui.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis stabilitas kapal pancing tonda yang digunakan nelayan di Kabupaten Sinjai.Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus terhadap kapal pancing tonda yang digunakan nelayan.Menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan mewakili tiga ukuran kapal yaitu 15,80 m (kecil), 18,00 m (sedang), dan 20,27 m (besar).Sampel dibuatkan model berdasaarkan dimensi utama kapal menggunakan program Maxsurf v8.i kemudian disimulasikan untuk memperoleh nilai stabilitas kapal sampel pada 3 kondisi yang berbeda (kapal berangkat, kapal beroperasi, dan kapal pulang). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kapal yang diteliti memiliki nilai Cb=0,25-0,28, Cp=0,56-0,58, Cm=0,56-0,65, Cw=0,46-0,49 dan nilai GZ Max pada 3 kondisi yang berbeda berada pada kisaran 0,73-0,99 telah memenuhi nilai standarisasi yang telah ditetapkan oleh International Maritime Organization (IMO)

    Pesisir Tanah Bumbu memiliki banyak potensi pariwisata bahari yang sangat indah yang menyediakan keragaman hayatidan keindahan pantai yang dapat menjadi tujuan utama wisatawan.Salah satu sektor pariwisata bahari KabupatenTanah Bumbu yang belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik adalah Pantai Madani. Pantai ini memiliki panorama pantai yang sangat indah dan menarik. Potensi ini harus terus didorong agar meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan baik lokal, domestik maupun luar negeri.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kekuatan parameter fisik (physical attribute) di perairan kawasan Pantai Madani sebagai salah satu indikator dalam penilaian kelayakan kawasan wisata Pantai.Metode pengujian dan analisis konsentrasi parameter fisik diuji berdasarkan baku mutu kualitas air untuk pariwisata bahari Menteri Lingkungan Hidup Keputusan No.51/MENLH/2004 tentang baku mutu air laut, pengujian dan analisis konsentrasi amoniak berdasarkan SNI 19-6964.3-2003.Hasil pengujian dibandingkan dengan nilai baku mutu yang sudah ditetapkan. Faktor utama yang diamati dianalisis menggunakan metode recreation opportunity spectrum.Hasil penghitungan tiga parameter utama (fisik, pengelolaan dan sosial) menunjukkan bahwa parameter fisik merupakan parameter yang memiliki nilai paling tinggi mengartikan bahwa parameter tersebut merupakan spektrum peluang pengembangan yang harus dipertahankan

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis substitusi tepung ikan dengan tepung gondang dan tepung kalakai terhadap pertumbuhan, rasio konversi pakan dan tingkat kelansungan hidup ikan gabus haruan (Channa striata). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan.Perlakuan A (pellet tanpa substitusi/Kontrol), B :pellet dengan perbandingan tepung ikan, tepung gondang dan tepung  kalakai (50%: 25%: 25%), C :Pemberian pakan pellet dengan perbandingan tepung ikan, tepung gondang dan tepung  kalakai (25%: 32,5%: 32,5%), D :Pemberian pakan pellet dengan perbandingan tepung ikan, tepung gondang dan tepung  kalakai (0%: 50%: 50%). Parameter yang diamati adalah analisis proksimat pakan, pertumbuhan relatif berat, pertumbuhan relatif panjang, dan kualitas air.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji proksimat terbaik pada komposisi protein perlakuan A (kontrol) 43,5% sedangkan perlakuan dengan subsitusi tepung gondang dan tepung kalakai pada perlakuan B,C dan D berkisar antara 36.22-37,99%. Substitusi tepung gondang dan tepung kalakai mempengaruhi  pertumbuhan relatif panjang, tidak berbeda nyata antar perlakuan, pertumbuhan panjang tertinggi pada perlakuan D, sedangkan  berat relatif  tidak berbeda nyata antar perlakuan, berat relatif tertinggi pada perlakuan D.  Kualitas air: suhu, Oksigen terlarut, pH dan amoniak mendukung kehidupan ikan gabus haruan yang dipelihara

    Aim of this research were isolation of probiotics candidate from digestive tract of Danau Panggang swamp fishes and amylolitic, proteolytic, and lipolytic enzyme activity test. Sample fishes were snake head (Channa striata), climbing perch (Anabastestudineus), and Siamese gouramy (Trichogaster pectoralis) as a refresentatif sample from carnivorous, omnivorous, and herbivorous fish. Medium containing starch, skim milk and olive oil used as selective media. Result of this research was successfully isolated probiotic candidate whom grow well and had enzyme activity from C. Striata obtained 11 isolate, 12 isolate from A. testudineus and T. pectoralis respectively. Higheramilolytic activity was C3GHDP, I3PDP4 had a higher lipolytic activity, D4SSDP1 andH3PDP had a higher proteolytic activity. Among those isolate G1PDPsp had a amilolytic, proteolytic and lipolytic activity

    Trolling liner was a dominance used by fishermans in Sinjai Regency was made by traditional without planning before, so stability and sea keeping ability about sea condition was unknown. The research aimed to analyze the rolling motion of trolling liner in regular condition of beam seas. The research was a case study of trolling liner used by the fisherman in Sinjai.Geometry measurement vessel form was done to get a model of trolling liner and then make a redesign as a compared and then make a simulation using program Maxsurf v8.i. the result showed that the sample have a good stability. Higher rolling was 18,168 on high wave -0,1971 m and lower rolling was -18,168 on high wave 0,1971 m,while there design showed high errolling was14,102 on high wave -0,1970 m and lower rolling was -14,102 on high wave 0.1968 m
