    Interreligious Engagement Between Indigenous Religion and Christianity Within the Huaulu Community in Maluku

    The arrival of Western Christianity in the archipelago, alongside European expansion, solidified Christian dominance and asserted superiority over indigenous religious practices. European supremacy did not merely bolster this dominance but also fueled theological narratives that portrayed indigenous religions as “dark” and “heretical,” necessitating their conversion to Christianity. This framework shaped interfaith discourse, marginalizing indigenous religions and excluding them from meaningful engagement. This article aims to analyze the socio-religious engagement between the adherents of Memaham (an indigenous religion) and Christians in the context of interreligious relations. This research was conducted within the Huaulu indigenous community, North Seram District, Central Maluku Regency, Maluku Province. This study employs a participatory qualitative research methodology, using interviews and observations as data generation methods. The findings reveal that Memaham, as the indigenous religion of the Huaulu, experienced a complex and dynamic engagement with Christianity, such as harmonious collaboration, ongoing negotiation, and even direct confrontation. Those findings provide an empirical contribution to interreligious relations within a postcolonial context, by aiming to avoid the romanticization often oriented towards harmonious relationships

    The Qur'an and hadith have explained eclipses, but not completely. The eclipse prayer can be performed if the eclipse is visible and its area is crossed by it, according to the underlying hadith. But not all days are sunny. There are times when clouds block the cloudy weather, so the eclipse cannot be seen. Ibnu Hajar al-Haitami is one of the scholars who discusses this. He stated that there were differences of opinion regarding the Eclipse Prayer. Therefore, the author provides an explanation of the laws of eclipse prayer, especially those related to how to perform the Sunnah eclipse prayer if the weather around the eclipse is cloudy or vice versa. In terms of conclusions, the scholars and Imams of the four schools of thought agree that performing the eclipse prayer is a sunnah mukaad and is prioritized to be done in congregation. However, priests differ on how to do it in congregation if a solar eclipse occurs, while a lunar eclipse is done individually. Ibnu Hajar Al-Haitami agrees with Imam Syafi'i regarding the law of carrying out the Eclipse Prayer, procedures, times, and other matters. He said that if the eclipse occurs before it is cloudy, then the eclipse prayer is still performed, but if it is cloudy from the beginning to the end of the eclipse, then it is not recommended to do it.

    A BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS ON ISLAMIC BUSINESS EDUCATION

    This study tries to examine research on Islamic business education in Scopus indexed journals. The purpose of this research is to find out the map of research development related to Islamic Business in the field of education by using bibliometric mapping. The things described in the mapping are related to authors, institutions, countries, and keywords related to Islamic Business Education. This analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis of 153 selected papers related to Islamic business education. All samples of published journals have been published for 36 years from 1985 to 2021. The data is exported and then processed and analyzed using the VOSviewer application program to find out the bibliometric visualization map of Islamic business education research development results of the study show a map of the development of research in the field of Islamic business education. This research finds the link between Islamic business education and the SDGs goals manifested in the form of integrating knowledge, skills, and ethics to ensure the quality of education that is inclusive and sustainable and able to answer existing global problems

    Religious Harmony Based on Spiritual and Intellectual Journey of René Guénon

    This article explores the intellectual and spiritual journey of René Guénon, who traversed the spiritual experiences of various religions in the world such as Catholicism, Hinduism, Taoism, and ended up in Islam. It seems that Guénon did not see the conversion of religion as a contradictory process, but rather as a continuous stage that enriched his search for the true truth. The position of this research is one of the testimonies of René Guénon's important role in developing religious harmony. Although many writings talk about religious harmony, the presence of René Guénon emphasizes ideas and works about the life of religious harmony. This article seeks to answer the question of the urgency of René Guénon’s spiritual and intellectual journey in crossing and upholding the essential values of the religion studied. This type of qualitative research focuses on library research, with a biographical approach. Furthermore, the sources in this study refer to direct works written by René Guénon and other authors who discuss René Guénon. The results of this study show that the essential values of each religion supported by spiritual and intellectual maturity are an important foundation for living a harmonious life between religious people

    Kepemimpinan perempuan dalam bidang politik masih menjadi perdebatan di kalangan ulama. Di satu sisi, sebagian besar ulama menolak atau mengharamkan perempuan menjadi pemimpin politik, dengan mengacu pada Al-Qur'an Surat An-Nisa' ayat 34 dan hadis riwayat Abi Bakrah. Namun, di sisi lain, ada sekelompok Muslim pembaharu yang memperbolehkan perempuan menjadi pemimpin politik, dengan alasan bahwa terdapat perubahan sosial dan kemajuan yang signifikan sehingga perempuan dianggap setara dengan laki-laki pada zaman sekarang. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kedua pandangan ulama tersebut, menganalisis pemikiran mereka secara historis dan kontekstual, serta memberikan penilaian dengan merekonstruksi pemikiran lama agar sesuai dengan konteks zaman sekarang.Pada masa lampau, para mufassir dan ulama fiqh cenderung menafsirkan ayat dan memahami hadis dengan pandangan yang didominasi oleh perbedaan gender. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh faktor budaya pada masa itu, serta posisi terbelakang perempuan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Mereka menafsirkan ayat dan hadis secara literal, tanpa mempertimbangkan latar belakang dan konteks di mana ayat atau hadis tersebut diturunkan. Pendekatan penafsiran dan pemahaman seperti ini mendapatkan kritik dari para pembaharu dan pemikir Muslim kontemporer, yang berusaha menafsirkan ayat dan memahami hadis secara kontekstual. Mereka melihat bahwa perempuan memiliki hak untuk menjadi pemimpin, dan fakta bahwa beberapa perempuan memiliki kemampuan dan keahlian yang sama dengan laki-laki menjadi bukti bahwa kepemimpinan politik tidak terkait dengan jenis kelamin, tetapi lebih berkaitan dengan kapasitas dan kemampuan yang dimiliki.Hasil penelitian dalam artikel menunjukkan bahwa harus ada upaya merekonstruksi pemikiran lama agar sesuai dengan konteks masa kini sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah fiqh.. Oleh karena itu, tidak ada larangan yang beralasan bagi perempuan untuk memimpin pemerintahan atau menjadi presiden, mengingat perempuan masa kini telah berbeda dalam hal kualifikasi dan potensi kepemimpinan dibandingkan dengan masa lampau. Keywords: Kepemimpinan Perempuan, Tekstual, Kontekstual, Kaidah Fiki

    Ministry Of Religious Affairs' Innovative Strategy In Building Lumajang District As A Model Of Religious Moderation

    This study aims to explore the innovative strategies of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Lumajang district in making Lumajang a model of religious moderation, with Senduro village as the main focus. Using a qualitative approach through a case study, data was collected through in-depth interviews with Ministry of Religious Affairs officials, religious leaders, and local communities. In addition, participatory observation of moderation activities and analysis of relevant policy documents were conducted. The results show that the Ministry of Religious Affairs' programs, such as strengthening interfaith dialogue and inclusive religious education, have successfully improved harmony and tolerance in the community. However, there are challenges such as local cultural resistance and lack of resource support. Nonetheless, the implementation of these strategies has had a positive impact in strengthening interfaith relations in Senduro Village, creating a more harmonious and tolerant environment. This research is expected to contribute to the development of religious moderation policies at the local level and enrich the discourse on religious moderation in Indonesia

    Strengthening Aqidah Education for Children: Implications in Harmonious Families

    Weak faith in children can stem from inadequate faith education within the family, leading to problematic behaviors such as klithih (youth violence involving sharp weapons), school brawls, and early marriages in Yogyakarta, which often result in domestic violence and early divorce. This study focuses on understanding Surah Luqman verses 12–19, which narrate Luqman's guidance to his son on faith. The research aims to: (1) explore the importance of children's faith education within the family, (2) identify effective methods for instilling faith in children, and (3) examine factors influencing faith education. Using a literature review approach, this study analyzes the selected verses through content analysis. The findings conclude: (1) Faith education in the family is crucial, as emphasized in verse 12; (2) verse 13 suggests instilling faith through advice against shirk (associating others with God) and encouraging respect for parents; (3) Factors influencing faith education include parental example, determination in educating children, polite and effective communication, the surrounding environment, and the embodiment of noble character in daily life. This research provides valuable insights for parents to foster a harmonious family through effective faith education.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis metode dan pendekatan dalam tafsir bi al-matsur (tafsir berdasarkan sejarah) dalam tinjauan kronologis sejarah penafsiran Al-Qur'an. Tafsir Al-Qur'an merupakan disiplin ilmu yang sangat penting dalam memahami makna dan pesan yang terkandung dalam teks suci Al-Qur'an. Dalam kajian ini akan melihat perkembangan metode dan pendekatan yang digunakan dalam tafsir bi al-matsur yang mengacu pada penafsiran berdasarkan sejarah dan tradisi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan sejarah dan analisis literatur. Kajian ini melibatkan pengumpulan data dari berbagai sumber primer dan sekunder, termasuk kitab-kitab tafsir klasik dan kontemporer, serta literatur sejarah tentang tafsir Al-Qur'an. Data yang terkumpul akan dianalisis secara kronologis untuk melihat evolusi metode dan pendekatan dalam tafsir bi al-matsur dari waktu ke waktu. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai perkembangan dan variasi metode dan pendekatan dalam tafsir bi al-matsur. matsur sepanjang sejarah penafsiran Al-Qur'an. Secara kronologis, penelitian ini akan mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis berbagai pendekatan yang digunakan para mufasir dari berbagai periode, serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perubahan tersebut. Hal ini juga dapat memberikan landasan bagi penelitian lebih lanjut di bidang ini, serta memberikan kontribusi terhadap kajian tentang sejarah penafsiran Al-Qur'an dan pengembangan metode dan pendekatan dalam tafsir bi al-matsur. Dengan pemahaman yang lebih baik terhadap sejarah dan tradisi penafsiran Al-Qur'an, kita dapat memperkaya pemahaman kita terhadap pesan-pesan Al-Qur'an dan menerapkannya secara relevan dalam konteks perkembangan zaman

    SYNERGY OF GREEN FINANCE AND MAQASID SHARIA: A STUDY OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF GREEN SUKUK IN INDONESIA

    This research explores the relationship between green finance and Maqasid Shariah through a study of the development of green sukuk in Indonesia. Green sukuk, as a Shariah-compliant financing instrument aimed at environmentally friendly projects, philosophically aligns with Maqasid Shariah, which emphasizes the protection of religion, life, intellect, lineage, and property. This study employs a qualitative method based on literature review to analyze the development of green sukuk since its first issuance in 2018. The findings indicate that green sukuk in Indonesia has shown significant growth, with an increase in issuances and funded projects, such as renewable energy and sustainable transportation. The implications of this research suggest that green sukuk not only contributes to sustainable financing but also strengthens the principles of Shariah within the context of modern Islamic finance. This study recommends an expanded green economic model based on Maqasid Shariah to support sustainable development policies in Indonesia

    EDUKASI PEMBERIAN MAKANAN PENDAMPING ASI ((MP-ASI DI TPA RAHMAH EL YUNUSIYYAH PADANG PANJANG

    Complementary feeding is food and drink given to children 6-24 months to fulfill their nutritional needs. Proper provision of complementary foods is closely related to the knowledge of parents and adults around the child. The purpose of this study was to determine the education conducted by schools in providing complementary foods to children aged 6-24 months at TPA Rahmah El Yunusiyyah Padang Panjang. as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors of schools in conducting education on complementary feeding (MP-ASI) for children, which is accompanied by follow-up conducted by schools in the education of MP-ASI feeding at TPA Rahmah El Yunusiyyah Padang Panjang.The type of research that researchers use is qualitative research using a descriptive approach with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques that researchers use are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing or verification.Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that breastfeeding education (MP-ASI) at TPA Rahmah El Yunusiyyah Padang Panjang is carried out by; a) cooperation between schools and the Padang Panjang Health Office. b) the principal gives an explanation of MP-ASI education to loyal teachers on Saturday. c) explanation from teachers to parents about MP-ASI education. While the supporting factors in conducting MP-ASI education are the amount of free time given by schools to parents to provide direct exclusive breastfeeding and time to ask teachers about proper MP-ASI education for children and inhibiting factors for schools in conducting MP-ASI Feeding Education, namely the lack of manpower in managing MP-ASI at school.Keywords: Education, complementary food

    Abstrak: According to NAECY (National Association for the Education of Young Children), early childhood is in the age range 0-8 years which is covered in educational programs in child care, family child care home, pre- school education. both private and public schools, kindergartens and elementary schools. The growth and development of early childhood needs to be directed at balanced physical, cognitive, socio-emotional, creativity and language as an appropriate foundation for the formation of a complete person. The form of research that will be used in this study is a type of qualitative research. Qualitative research in which researchers conduct in-depth exploration of programs, events, processes, activities, for one or more people, means the process of exploring and understanding the meaning of individual and group behavior, describing social problems or humanitarian problems. The research method used in this study is descriptive analysis. The data analysis used is inductive based on facts found in the field and then constructed into hypotheses or theories. The object of the research is students at TKIT Juara Padang Panjang, this descriptive research aims to learn about the application of STEAM learning methods (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) in children aged 5-6 years at TKIT Juara Padang Panjang. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and document techniques. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the STEAM learning method in children aged 5-6 years at TKIT Juara Padang Panjang. From forming a small group after that, they started learning using technology such as watching stories that fit the theme using laptops, cellphones, and infocus, as well as using loose parts materials (natural materials such as: wood branches, leaves, sand, gravel, charcoal, grains and kitchen utensils used for cooking such as spoons, forks, cans and so on. Plastics such as cups, spoons, used bottles, clear plastic/crackles, straws and so on. Wood such as bamboo, beams and so on. The inhibiting factors are the lack of human resources, the creation of a design that takes a long time, the lack of training in STEAM learning methods and the supporting factors are the old awareness of the importance of learning from an early age, participation and good communication between teachers and parents.Keywords: STEAM Learning Method, Early Childhood Educatio
