Transition of the Ekiden (road relay) Recording System (Development of Recording System for Ekiden (road relay) Races)
Get PDFP(論文)現在テレビで盛んに行なわれているスポーツ中継では,競技の進行や各チームの記録,成績を紹介し視聴者を楽しませている。チームの様子や選手の記録などの情報は,事前に取材することによって準備することができるが,刻々と変化する競技の進行状況や,その途中の公式記録をいち早く発表し報道するためには,失敗が許されない競技運営システムが築き上げられている。駅伝競走の記録情報処理は,手計算による時代から,そろばん,電卓,コンピュータによる計算と変化していった。また,記録収集の方法も人が運ぶ方法から,通信機器の利用による方法へと発展し,コンピュータ機器の発展と相まって,情報伝達及び記録計算システムを総合的に機熊させることによりテレビ報道を通じて一般の市民の方々への理解を深めた。競技会運営がここまでに至った経過には,日本陸上競技連盟が主催する大会について報道機関,主催競技団体が互いに協力し合いスポーツマネージメントの力が社会に対するスポーツ環境の改善という役割を果たしている。Today, the general public can enjoy watching many sports events on TV by following the progress of games and the records of teams' performance as well as the results of games and events on a real time basis. Information on the conditions of teams and the records of athletes can be obtained in advance, but in order to promptly announce to the press on the situation of ongoing games and events that change from time to time, like marathon and Ekiden races, and on their officials lap time as well, it is necessary to establish a well-organized management system of athletic events. This system should never fail. The method of processing records and information on Ekiden races has undergone changes : from the age of calculating by hand or Japanese abacus of 'soroban' in the 1950s-1960s, to the time of calculating by pocket calculator, and to the period of calculating by computer. The method of collecting and carrying records and information has also developed : from the time of carrying them by person to the time of using communication machines and equipment. In parallel with the development of computer machines and systems, the method of transmitting information and the method of computing records have combined to create a comprehensive system that would help general citizens deepen their understanding of Ekiden races by releasing information through TV. The operation method of athletic events has developed to such an extent as described above thanks to cooperation between news media and organizations running individual athletic events held under the auspice of the Japan Association of Athletics Federation, This paper deals with the synergy effects of sport management endeavors of these kinds that play a role to improve the environment of sports in our society.departmental bulletin pape
Study on Quality Assurance and Duty Extension of Medical Information Management Professionals : in case of medical physicists
Get PDFP(論文)As one of important professionals in practice of medical recording, medical physicist is raised to be the target of research and investigation in Japan. First, present status of medical physicists and job elements related to medical physics done in hospitals in United States, Europe and Australia were scrutinized by literatures. Then, comparison of level, volume and quality between the result of investigation and result of research of job elements done by radiological technologists in Japan was made. Many items of important jobs which wee not fulfilled by Japanese technologists were found, even though the field of research was limited to radiation therapy. Especially, patient's clinical records in the process of cancer treatment were one of the weakest points. The result of assessment, evaluation and validation of quality assurance was found not to be clearly described by technologists in Japan. In United State, reimbursement of medical care done by medical physicists is conducted through health insurances organization such as Medicare based on such patient's records. Difference of education and training was also searched, and the lack of many items in 4 Universities in Japan was found. The one of most remarkable weak points was training item regarding risk management against catastrophic accidents such as unexpected radiation leakage and/or radiation source missing. Also education and training in the field of medical physics in graduated course of school of allied health sciences in universities in Japan is strongly recommended to be carried out.departmental bulletin pape
A Study of Care Prevention Programs : Attitude and Behavior of the Elderly Concerning Health
Get PDFP(論文)介護予防事業の一環として、小野市が関西国際大学地域研究所に委託し、一般高齢者を対象に介護予防教室が開かれた。プログラムの内容は、介護予防体操と体力測定、健康調査を中心とし、他に、口腔ケア、栄養講話、調理実習などが含まれていた。本研究は、プログラム実施前後に受講生281名を対象に質問紙調査を実施し、健康に対する意識と行動、および体力測定値の視点からプログラムの効果を検証することを目的とするものである。ただし、プログラム実施後の調査は3月になるため、ここでは、7～8月のプログラム開始時に行われた調査結果に基づいて、受講生の健康に対する意識と行動について明らかにされた。departmental bulletin pape
Discussion of Life Support for the Mentally Disabled and Their Families in small cities
Get PDFP(論文)A市の地域生活支援センター設立背景を動機として,A市と類似する人口8万人以上10万人以下の小規模市を対象に,行政が行う精神障害者福祉の現状と課題についてアンケート調査を実施する。また同時に対象となる小規模市に存在する精神障害者家族会代表者へのアンケート調査を実施する。これら二つのアンケート調査をもとに,小規模市における精神障害者とその家族への生活支援について考察する。As background for establishing a regional life support center in A City, a survey by questionnaire on the present state and problems of government-sponsored welfare for the mentally disabled was conducted using small cities with similar populations of 80, 000 to 100, 000 as subjects. At the same time a survey by questionnaire of representatives from families groups with mentally disabled members living in these small cities was conducted. We discuss life support for the mentally disabled and their families in small cities based on these two surveys.departmental bulletin pape
