A Study of Local Communities in the Aged Society
Get PDF高齢者が住み慣れた地域で自分らしい暮らしを人生の最後まで続けるために政府が提案している「地域包括システム」では、「生活介護・介護予防」を支える老人クラブ、自治会、NPO、ボランティアに非常に大きな期待をしているように見える。このため、「互助」と位置付けられたこれらの地域コミュニティの現状と課題について若干の考察を試みた。老人クラブや自治会は、戦後から高齢化社会が話題となった1980年頃まで非常に充実した広がりを見せていたものの、近年、「束縛」「負担」を嫌うためか衰退を続け、一方、負担なく利用したい時だけ気軽に利用できる「サロン」等の活動が支持されつつある。しかしながら、いずれの活動も組織の高齢化が生じる危険性を内在しており、次々と新しい指導者（リーダー）を育成することが喫緊の課題であると考えられる。またそのためには、住環境教育が欠かせないものではないかと考える。departmental bulletin pape

Advanced Science and Elementary Science Education
Get PDF40020539626The belief that development of information science and natural science would change society and enrich citizen life now is expanded in Japanese society. Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology revised the curriculum guideline and has worked with the improvement and enhancement of school education to achieve the goal that Japanese society would become knowledge based society in 2008. One of the approaches is to introduce the advanced scientific research outcome to school education. It aims to foster the students those who can understand the impressive outcome and find the will to contribute success in the development of science. Japanese molecular biology is the one of candidate of the new school education contents. It has achieved world-class results in this half century and produces Nobel Prize winners while contributing to citizen’s health. This paper focuses on cancer researches which molecular biology has important role of the development, and proposes the integration of the contents to school education, especially elementary school's science education. Science education in elementary school emphasizes on familiar organisms and natural phenomena while stressing the birth and the machine of organisms particularly. We propose to integrate the view of death to the unit of birth. The purpose of the class is that students recognize the mystery of life and realize the importance of health as well as understand the contribution of advanced science in our life through the birth and death. We point out the importance of cooperation between specialists as well as teacher training to teach such advanced science in elementary schools. Get PDFThe purpose of this study is the inspection of a experiment of teaching of “singing with playing” as “reflective learning” in teacher training education. Through the practice of “singing with playing” by “reflection”, the axis of the recognition, ex. “a consciousness of singing part” “a purpose of learning on singing with playing” existed in whole process of study. In the process of overcoming an inexperienced skill of “singing with playing”, deriving the recognition integrated the skill of “singing with playing” into a consciousness of “singing” part ,the recognition of the performance method in relation to the matter and the method of practice for overcoming the problem of skill led to a rise of self-assessment. Study on the Effects of the Utilization of Smart Device on Learning

Get PDF大学で学ぶシニア層が増えている。今後もその数が増加するならば、若い一般学生との関係構築や影響関係は、やがて重要な研究テーマとして浮上してくることだろう。
このような「生涯学習の推進が若者に及ぼす影響」は、「シニア50＋」制度のもと多くのシニア層を受け入れてきた本学において、すでに無視できない大きさになっている。本研究は、本学の若い一般学生へのインタビューを通じ、シニア学生との関係構築の過程やその成否、またシニア学生から受けた影響やその受けとめ方を探るものである。
シニア学生との関係構築については、同じ学生であることと、年齢が違うこと、この二つの属性をどのような順序で使い分けるかが、成否の重要な鍵になっていることが明らかになった。シニア学生の影響については、学習支援や授業参加意欲の向上、同年代だけで固まった人間関係からの解放、そして上述した二つの属性の使い分けによる年上の人との付き合い方の習得などが、肯定的に受けとめられていることが明らかになった。departmental bulletin pape

Get PDF40020539594This paper examines the home life of an urban middle-class household at the end of the Meiji Period as seen in Natsume Soseki’s full-length novel The Gate (1910). The character Sosuke, who resides in a three-person household with his wife and a gejo (maidservant) in a humble rented house nearly 20 minutes on foot from the final station of a rail line, lives in straitened circumstances. Despite his gloomy thoughts on a rainy day with a hole in the sole of his shoe, he cannot afford to buy new shoes.
But why does this household, which is not particularly wealthy, have a live-in maidservant? This was because housework in a middle-class household at the end of the
Meiji Period took so much time and effort that a full-time housewife could not complete the task herself. Gas lamps were the source of light, and meals were cooked using a shichirin, a small charcoal stove of clay or earthenware.
