Teaching Practice Experience of the Undergraduates Aspirating to Become Teachers in 2016
Get PDF40021513199The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of teaching practice in Japan national universities and private universities, comparing the kinds of schools where students did practice teaching using the 2016 and 2017 quantitative investigation data from undergraduates aspirating to become teachers.
From this survey, it was drawn that the qualities of teaching practice experiences were influenced by the school and teacher cultures of the school where students did the teaching practice. Comparing the teaching practice at national and private universities, it can be pointed out that the difference between them is understood as teaching practice at schools attached to national universities and the schools where students graduated from. Also the teaching practices of kindergartens and special support education schools give substantial chances about dealing with pupils’ parents and the communication between student teachers and pupils. These findings also showed that teaching practice is an opportunity to experience the school culture and teacher culture.
Teaching practices are the chance for the students to master the culture of school and teacher. It would be related to their experiences in several schools which were not necessarily connected to the positive effects. It is because to encounter the cultures of some schools is to experience the inconsistent cultures rather than to learn the diversities of the schools.本論文の目的は，2016年度に実施した大学4年生を対象とした教育実習に関する質問紙調査データにもとづいて，国立大学と私立大学の実習の違いと実習校種の違いという2つの観点から，現在の我が国の教育実習の特徴を捉えることである。
2つの分析結果に共通することは，実習の質は実習校の学校文化・教師文化で決まっているという点である。国立大学と私立大学の実習の比較では，両者の違いが附属学校での実習と母校での実習として理解されるものであることを指摘した。一方実習校種による比較では，特別支援学校や幼稚園の実習が，子どもとのコミュニケーションや保護者対応などに関して比較的充実した機会を提供していることなどを指摘した。これらは，学生たちが教育実習においてそれぞれの学校種の特徴が反映した経験を積んでいることを示している。教育実習は，学校文化や教師文化を体験し，身体化する機会なのである。多くの実習校を経験することが，必ずしもプラスの効果につながらないことは，このことに関わっているものと思われる。departmental bulletin pape
Polysomnographic study of sleep in children and adolescents with developmental disabilities : A review
Get PDFAim: With this review, I aim to provide PSG study of sleep in people with developmental disabilities. Method: A literature was conducted and subject’s characteristics, study design (EEG pattern in sleep cycle, integrated EEG, compressed spectral array, clinical EEG,ontogeny of sleep patterns, REM sleep latency, sleep spindles, REM activity, skin potential responses, skin temperature, heart rate, and respiration), and developmental disabilities were collected. The PSG recording was carried out during nocturnal sleep. Results: I identified 27 studies of 121 children with developmental disabilities (4 mo. to 6 yr.). They,moreover, included 79 retarded people (6 mo. to 20 yr.). They showed some abnormal sleep EEG patterns, using by the integrated EEG and the compressed spectral array. Their ontogeny of sleep patterns was similar to normal peoples. The distribution of their REM sleep latency was similar to that obtained by other authors from normal infants under 3 months of age. In their sleep spindles, the number of spindles longer than 0.4 sec may serve as a useful indicator of abnormality. In their REM activity, developmental psychomotor scores were correlated with % of REM20. In their skin potential response, type B and C were observed more frequently the subjects with low DQ and abnormal clinical EEG. Moreover,their skin temperature, heart rate and respiration were reported. Interpretation: Not withstanding varying etiologies and varying degrees of retardation of these studies, many findings were presented. The significance of PSG recorded all night should be noticed, at least, in the people with developmental disabilities.知的障害児（者）のポリグラフによる睡眠（PSG）研究のレビューを行った。方法：文献検索を行って、被検者の特徴、研究デザイン（睡眠サイクルにおける睡眠パターン、積分された脳波、鳥瞰図法による脳波、臨床脳波、睡眠パターンの発達、REM睡眠潜時、睡眠紡錘波、REM活動、皮膚電気反応（SPR）、皮膚温、心拍、呼吸）、知的障害が選ばれた。ポリグラフ記録が夜間睡眠中に行われたものであった。結果：２７の論文が選ばれた。知的障害児１２１名（４か月から６歳）が選ばれた。さらに、知的障害児（者）７９名（６か月から２０歳）が選ばれた。彼らはいくつかの異常な睡眠パターンを示した。加えて、これらの異常パターンが積分された脳波と、鳥瞰図法で示された脳波で示された。彼らの睡眠パターンの発達は、これまでに報告された健常児（者）と類似していた。彼らのREM睡眠潜時は、３か月の健常児と類似していた。睡眠紡錘波については、0.4秒より長いものが、異常を示す有効な指標となった。REM活動については、DQがREM20のパーセントと相関していた。SPRについては、BとC型がA型に比べて、より低いDQと異常な臨床脳波が示された。さらに、皮膚温、心拍と呼吸が報告された。夜間を通じてPSGを記録する重要性が、知的障害児（者）について指摘された。departmental bulletin pape
Actual communication methods for effectively motivating older adults to take part in voiding practice : Application of prompted voiding
Get PDF40021513233In this study, assistance for improving urinary incontinence based on bladder function evaluation was practically applied to four patients with voiding dysfunction. Analysis was then performed on actual verbal communication incorporating prompted voiding (PV) that was found to effectively motivate patients during assistance.
Effective verbal communication fell into three categories: verbal communication of joy in expressing a desire to void and appreciation; verbal confirmation of recovery in urinary function and verbal praise; and verbal communication that respects behavior and pace during voiding. Voiding assistance based on bladder function evaluation and communication incorporating PV led to patients voluntarily asserting their desire to void and thereby to improvements in urinary incontinence. The findings suggest that in the course of improving voiding function, emphasizing respect for patients’ self-esteem in verbal communication is as important as adopting an individualized approach to voiding assistance during bladder training.本研究では4名の排尿障害を有する患者に対して，膀胱機能評価に基づいて尿失禁改善の援助を実践した。その過程で行った，排尿自覚行動療法を適用した動機づけに効果的であったコミュニケーションの実際を分析した。
効果的であった声掛けの内容は，【尿意表出への喜び・感謝の言葉かけ】，【排泄機能回復の確認，賞賛の言葉かけ】，【排泄時の行動，ペースを尊重した言葉かけ】の3カテゴリーであった。膀胱機能評価に基づく排尿援助および排尿自覚行動療法を適用したコミュニケーションの結果，自発的な尿意の訴えが認められ，尿失禁も改善された。排尿機能の改善は，膀胱訓練の過程において個別に沿った排尿援助だけではなく，自尊感情を大切にしたコミュニケーションを意図して行うことの重要性が示唆された。departmental bulletin pape
A Study on Health Education in Elementary Schools and Health Literacy Programs
Get PDF40021513218It is important to promote medical literacy education in order to cope with current situations such as development of biotechnology or infections which spread beyond the
country boundaries. In this study, we revealed a health education issue which needs to be resolved in Japan.
We defined health literacy in school education as “an ability for an individual or group to obtain, understand, evaluate and utilize heath information to maintain/promote health”.Then on the basis of this definition, we evaluated how medical literacy, which is a part of health literacy”, should be positioned in health literacy. After reviewing current issues of health education inside and outside the country as well as contents of school education in Japan, we found that basic ideas of medical literacy, including causes of diseases, had not been covered in classes. This is a crucial issue as its consequence has also appeared in surveys on health consciousness in university students conducted by Ministry of Health,Labour and Welfare and private companies.
In order to incorporate basic contents of medical literacy in school education, we will need to cover health literacy more in details, such as to the level of interactive health literacy and critical health literacy. Moreover, in order to improve interactive health literacy, in other words to make them aware of importance of continuing exercise habits throughout their lifetime, it is important to start teaching how enjoyable sport activities are in the primary school.conference pape

And Committee to Develop the Accountancy Sector has published the final report “Transforming Singapore into a leading global accountancy hub for Asia-Pacific “. In this final report, three key strategic thrusts are recommended.
