AGRO-TOURISM IN SOUTH-WEST OLTENIA IN THE POST-PANDEMIC PERIOD. ARE THERE TRENDS RETURNING?
The Covid-19 pandemic had a particularly strong global impact on tourist traffic, and implicitly on the tourism industry, in the March-May 2020 period, reducing them practically to zero. After the relaxation of restrictions, tourist traffic begins to recover, registering particularities from one region to another. In the South-West Oltenia development region, the post-pandemic period is characterized by the relaunch of domestic tourism, followed after some lag by the gradual increase in the flow of foreign citizens, with disparities and similarities at the county and local level, the return of rural tourism being significant in some communities, by exceeding the level recorded before the outbreak of the pandemic
REVISIT INTENTION (RI) OF TOURISTS: A STUDY OF YOUNG BEACH-GOERS IN GOA, INDIA
It is evident that inducing visitors to revisit the tourist destinations and resorts, where they stay, is an important way of smoothening out revenue generation for tourism firms rather than attracting new tourists using costly advertisement and marketing strategies. This revelation has paved the way for an array of Revisit Intention studies in the field of tourism. Many such studies regard the revisit intention (RI) of tourists as a binary variable that is with two outcomes viz—yes, having to revisit intention or No. Distinct from this, this study enquires into the revisit intention by categorizing this into three: Tourists with High Revisit Intention (HRI), Moderate Revisit Intention (MRI), and No Revisit Intention (NRI). Drawing on data collected from 120 College going students visiting Goa Beaches, the study reveals that most tourists have a revisit intention. Apart from this, the study also proves that the revisit intention of tourist is dependent on factors like cleanliness and unpolluted nature of the beaches, service quality of the staff in resorts, and the quality of accommodation, safety, and security (SnS) of beaches and resorts, and finally, the feeling of a consumers’ surplus (Visitors’ Surplus)

A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW OF LITERATURE PERTAINING TO FINANCIAL AND NON-FINANCIAL INDICATORS ON THE PERFORMANCE OF SMEs: EVIDENCE FROM THE TOURISM SECTOR
The study aims to bring to the attention of tourism managers and entrepreneurs an up-to-date review of the information sources related to the most important financial and non-financial indicators used in the decisional environment in order to determine the adaptation strategies of a company to the marketplace. The data has been collected, starting in august 2022, by analyzing the Scopus database from three perspectives: indicators, performance and tourism. 90 articles have been identified based on the criteria commonly used during the last 10 years. The results show that the indicators are used both from the financial and non-financial perspectives. Last, the main indicators used in the management of the smart enterprises in tourism have been identified. These indicators are clustered together in a portfolio of analysis methodologies, such as balance score card, specific to each company, which are the foundation of the process of adoption of the strategic decisions concerning the companies’ adaptation to the marketplace. This study is among the first to offer theoretical and empirical proofs of the manner in which the non-financial indicators become key aspects in the administration of the tourism businesses. The implementation of the new strategic pathways and the continuous evaluation of the results obtained will provide the tourism businesses long term competitive advantages and they will ensure a lasting loyal customer base

In the last 10 years, specific marketing activities are increasingly visible. However, marketing is not only about the mode of action, but also involves tuning to the latest theories that have emerged as a result of social and economic progress and the requirements for competitiveness, quality and performance. Through this paper we aim to highlight the relevance of marketing complexity for a free market, by considering a new form of marketing mix approach, going beyond the traditional 4P form. Currently, the market and enterprises are guided by the 7P or 9P marketing mix strategies, which will be analyzed in the paper. The question posed in support of this study is: what context led to the advancement from four to seven or nine components of the marketing mix? What exactly made the 4Ps no longer enough? The purpose of the paper is to present, from the point of view of significance for the company\u27s performance, the current components of the marketing mix, through an applied study on two small economic units from Iași County. The results of the empirical, descriptive research show that the new variants of the marketing mix are a practical and functional reality, which bring benefits to businesses
