Sustainability in tourism and green economy in the view of the young people from Bukovina
Abstract: The transition to the green economy is a difficult and complicated process involving several distinct stages. For this transition to take place, it is important that both national elites and broad sections of society are aware of this. This study analysed the views of young people in Bukovina on the green economy - how they perceive it, sources of information accessed, possible solutions and benefits. All young people need to have a solid understanding of entrepreneurship and sustainable development (SD) in order to be aware of the impact of their decisions on the SD process. Education for Sustainable Development aims to strengthen the links between human well-being, the economy and environmental protection in order to build an eco-efficient welfare society. It promotes understanding of one\u27s own cultural heritage, cultural diversity, justice and capacities for intercultural and international interaction, increasing involvement and motivation in decision-making as citizens and community members, in order to create the conditions for sustainable industrial development. Young people have the capacity and responsibility to make a crucial contribution to the transition to a green economy. We believe that sustainability and environmental issues must be taught from an early age, adopting innovative educational tools that take into account environmental protection, social and economic development and the achievement of related goals. Recently, young people in Europe have been actively involved in environmental actions, forming various social movements at different territorial, national and European levels to advocate for environmental protection and the implementation of climate neutral policies
THE DECISION-MAKING SYSTEM OF ORGANISATIONS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
Today, organisations are increasingly concerned about the environmental impact of their activities. They strive to achieve new environmental performances by minimising the adverse effects of industrial-type development on the environment. This research takes an exploratory approach, reviewing specialised literature on the concept of environmental management, with a focus on the decision-making system. It also includes a bibliometric analysis using platforms such as Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar, and Biblioshiny to support the analysis of the national and international subject studied based on several criteria. In summary, the interest in environmental protection in tandem with economic-social development is the order of the day; organisations strive to harmonise economic and ecological objectives by making the correct environmental decisions, which have minimal consequences on the surrounding nature. The true novelty of this research, however, lies in its comprehensive approach to the decision-making system in the context of environmental management, a perspective that has not been extensively explored before
Salient aspects of the geopolitical risks and impact on the global supply chain
The pandemic and recent geopolitical instability have highlighted the vulnerability of the global supply chain and many sectors have experienced shortages of raw materials and critical goods. The global supply chains are increasingly regionalized to mitigate risks from uncertainties such as US-China trade conflicts or the Ukraine war. In this environment, the category procurement needs to adapt and build a more resilient supply chain. To enhance resilience, effective adaptability is needed by regionalization, supplier collaboration, digitalization and data analytics and risk categorization. This study aims to analyze recent research focusing on geopolitical risks impacting macroeconomics, raw materials, energy demand and logistics and to formulate shared perspectives for higher impacts. For this purpose, a systematic literature review, based on 22 articles, was carried out to observe the main areas of concern in case of geopolitical turmoil and to identify the main factors for the supply chain resilience. The collective viewpoints conclude that, in this challenging environment, the industries must adapt quickly, enhancing their flexibility and resilience, invest in digitalization and data analytics for better visibility and prediction and consider supplier collaboration and regionalization as key factors in their procurement strategies. Further research is needed to define the geopolitical risk categorizatio

AN ANALYSIS OF POST-PANDEMIC TOURISM IN ROMANIA
Romanian tourism in the last 5 years is in line with the general trend of the European tourism phenomenon. Therefore, we believe that the national post-pandemic tourism is undergoing a process of re-dimensioning and reorganization, having as converging elements the revitalization of tourist circulation, the increase of domestic consumption and ensuring tourist comfort and safety. The analysis of statistical data on Romanian tourism from 2019-2023 focuses on highlighting the dynamics of tourism flows based on 2019, the year before the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. The absolute values of Romanian tourism in the last 5 years show, starting in 2022, a revival of national tourism, both incoming and outgoing, but at least for the time being we cannot speak of a reach of the levels recorded before the Covid-19 pandemic. Most probably, 2024 will be the year when Romanian tourism will overcome this phase of inflection and setback associated with the Covid-19 pandemic.
