La intención de compra: efecto de condiciones de salud y riesgo percibido durante la Pandemia
Get PDFThe need to go to supermarkets to obtain food for the family was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic; consumption habits were adjusted during sanitary restrictions; The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between the variables Health Conditions and Perceived Risk with Purchase Intention in supermarket consumers in a period of economic reactivation due to a pandemic. We worked with a sample of 205 supermarket consumers, such as: SAMS Club, Wal-Mart, Aurrera and HEB; located in the State of Tamaulipas, Mexico. An instrument was designed with the existing literature with thirty items and a five-option Likert scale. The Partial Least Squares Method was used for the statistical tests of reliability and validity of the instrument, such as Cronbach's Alpha, Average Variance Extracted and Composite Reliability. Correlation coefficients were identified between variables of the study Health conditions and Perceived Risk with the Purchase Intention, this relationship explains 65.5% of the proposed studyLa necesidad familiar de asistir al supermercado para compras de alimentos se vio afectada por la pandemia del COVID-19, los hábitos de consumo también se ajustaron; el propósito de este estudio es identificar la relación entre las variables Condiciones de salud y Riesgo percibido con la Intención de Compra en consumidores de supermercados en la reactivación económica por pandemia. Get PDFThe aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between formal and informal institutions with transaction costs (bargaining and monitoring) of coffee growers in the State of Mexico. For this purpose, a measurement instrument was constructed based on a literature review and the participation of key actors, whose construct validity was evaluated through an exploratory factor analysis. The questionnaire was applied to 100 coffee growers during the year 2020. Subsequently, the factor loads for everyone were extracted and stratified to estimate a binary logistic regression model. Findings suggest that informal institutions such as trust, cooperation links and reciprocity were statistically significant with negative coefficients, which implies that an informal institutional frame reduces transaction costs. In contrast, belonging to a producer organization and receiving technical advice from the Apoyos a Pequeños Productores program in its Extensionismo component were not statistically significant.El objetivo de la presente investigación es analizar la relación entre instituciones, formales e informales y los costos de transacción (negociación y supervisión) de productores de café en el Estado de México. Para ello se construyó un instrumento de medida a partir de una revisión de literatura y participación de actores clave, cuya validez de constructo se evaluó por medio de un análisis factorial exploratorio. El cuestionario fue aplicado a 100 cafeticultores durante el año 2020. Posteriormente, se extrajeron las cargas factoriales para cada individuo y se estratificaron para estimar un modelo de regresión logística binaria. Dentro de los hallazgos resalta que instituciones informales como confianza, vínculos de cooperación y reciprocidad resultaron estadísticamente significativas con coeficientes negativos, lo cual implica que el marco institucional informal reduce costos de transacción. En contraste, pertenecer a una organización de productores y recibir asesoría técnica del programa de Apoyos a Pequeños Productores en su componente de Extensionismo no fueron significativos

In this article we will address these concepts based on the analysis of the wankas, stone blocks located in the middle of the agricultural fields of Las Pailas, an agricultural fields of Las Pailas, a pre-Hispanic site located in the northern sector of the Calchaquí Valley (Salta). The results allow us to argue that, beyond the votive instance that would have taken place, the very fact of placing them there already represents per se the of placing them there already represents per se a ritual claim, foundational for these ontologies in which the reproduction of life crosses the cosmos in its totality.En la matriz de pensamiento indígena, la incorporación de las entidades no humanas, pertenecientes al terreno de lo natural y lo sagrado, son la garantía de reproducción de la vida y el cosmos, junto al hombre. Así, en la intersección entre lo sagrado, lo natural y lo humano es que debe entenderse también la fertilidad, donde la reciprocidad y el sentido colectivo representan sus pilares principales. En este artículo abordaremos estos conceptos a partir del análisis de las wankas, bloques de piedra ubicados en medio de los campos agrícolas de Las Pailas, un sitio prehispánico ubicado en el sector norte del Valle Calchaquí (Salta). Los resultados nos permiten sostener que, más allá de la instancia votiva que habría tenido lugar, el hecho mismo de colocarlas allí ya representa per se una reclamación ritual, fundacional para estas ontologías donde la reproducción de la vida atraviesa el cosmos en su totalidad

Get PDFThis paper analyzes Alberto Iturbe's trajectory as delegate of the Comando Superior Peronista in Argentina (1962-1965). To this end, it examines his relationship with Juan D. Perón and his influence in the processes of party institutionalization of the movement overthrown in 1955. From the historiographical point of view, the text is part of the trend of studies on the role of Peronist leaders and intermediary organizations in exile, a perspective that renewed research on a key stage of Argentine political history in the 20th century. It aims to contribute to the knowledge about the party organizations of Peronism at this period and to consider the nature and transformations of the delegation, in a context in which the authority of the former president was confronted by multiple actors.El artículo analiza la trayectoria de Alberto Iturbe como delegado del Comando Superior Peronista en Argentina (1962-1965). Con ese fin examina su vínculo con Juan D. Perón y su influencia en los procesos de institucionalización partidaria del movimiento derrocado en 1955. Desde el punto de vista historiográfico, el texto se inscribe en la corriente de estudios sobre el rol de las dirigencias y los organismos de intermediación del peronismo en el exilio, perspectiva que renovó las investigaciones sobre una etapa clave de la historia política argentina del siglo XX. Pretende aportar al conocimiento sobre las organizaciones partidarias del peronismo en esta etapa y reflexionar sobre la naturaleza y transformaciones de la delegación, en un contexto en el que la autoridad del ex presidente fue confrontada por múltiples actores
Revalorization of tidal waste in biofuel production.
Get PDFMotivation: The increase of algal blooms due to eutrophication and climate change are leading to uncontrolled beach cast depositions. This biomass accumulation on the coasts deteriorates water quality and causes economic issues [1].Tidal waste exhibits a variable composition with a significant amount of carbohydrates. Biorefinery consists of extracting and using all the components of a material. In the case of agricultural waste, the carbohydrates resulting from cellulose extraction are used to produce renewable fuels, such as bioethanol. However, algae-based biorefineries face challenges, needing an integrated biorefinery approach [2]. Integrated biorefineries yield value-added products alongside the primary product, offer economic advantages and enhance process profitability [3].The aim of this work is to study the effectiveness and performance of bioethanol production under an integrated biorefinery approach. For this purpose, the chemical composition of the liquid fraction obtained after low environmental impact chemical extraction methods was analysed.Methods: High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) was employed to determine the concentration of dissolved products, specifically sugars (xylose, arabinose, and glucose). A Shodex SH1011 column with 5mM H2SO4 mobile phase, flow rate of 0.6 ml/min at 55°C, and refractive index detector at 50°C were utilized.Results: The results suggest that the studied sugars are present in sufficient concentrations for extraction via clean technologies, allowing their valorization into alcohols suitable for beverages, due to their characteristic organoleptic properties, or for fuels.Conclusions: The obtained results are promising, though further complementary studies are required for their application at an industrial scale
Protective role of glutathione peroxidase GPX-7 in Caenorhabditis elegans models of protein aggregation.
Get PDFMotivation: Ferroptosis is a regulated form cell death caused by an iron-dependent increase in lipid peroxidation ofpolyunsatured fatty acid (PUFA) of the plasma membrane. Glutathione peroxidases (GPx's) are a family of enzymes that catalyzethe reduction of H2O2 and lipid peroxides using glutathione (GSH) as a cofactor. PUFAs peroxide reduction by glutathioneperoxidase 4 (GPX4) is the main pathway in mammals protecting against ferroptotic cell death (1). The objective of this researchis to characterize the role of C. elegans GPX-7, an orthologue of mammalian GPX4, in the protection against protein aggregatesformation, which we have found sensitizes C.: elegans to ferroptosis.Methods: By genetic manipulation and crossing in C. elegans, we have created a number of different mutant strains lackinggpx-1, gpx-2, gpx-6 and gpx-7, the four orthologues of mammalian GPX4. These mutant strains were crossed with animalsexpressing the fusion protein Q40::YFP that forms fluorescent aggregates in muscle cells (2). We quantified these aggregatesusing a fluorescence microscope. We also used the glutathione depletor diethylmaleate (DEM) to study the impact of glutathionehomeostasis in these strains (3). Moreover, we have created a mutant strain unc-52; gpx-7 to determine the effect of depletinggpx-7 on the paralysis phenotype displayed by unc-52 mutants (3).Results: We have that these two mutant strains gpx-1; gpx-2; gpx-6; gpx-7Q40::YFP and gpx-7 Q40::YFP have half number ofaggregates in comparison with Q40::YFP and gpx-1; gpx-2; gpx-6; Q40::YFP control strains. The strains harbouring the gpx-7mutation are resistant up to 1.5 mM DEM and 2mM DEM, otherwise letal doses in the control of worms. However, unc-52; gpx-7 worms did not show differential paralysis when compared to unc-52 single mutants.To complement this work we want to investigate if we could obtain these results in an intestinal polyQ model (Q44::YFP). Thatwill be an indicative that gpx-7 protects in the poliQ models.Conclusions: The deletion of gpx-7 appears to decrease the number of Q40::YFP aggregates in worm muscle cells. In contrast,it does not affect the paralysis of unc-52 mutants
Histidine kinases: a world to discover in the stress response of Sphingopyxis granuli TFA.
Get PDFMotivation: In nature, there is a correlation between the diversity of habitats and the organisms that live in them. In such a way that different and changing environments can sometimes be observed, which causes stressful conditions for the organisms that inhabit them [1].Alphaproteobacteria (α-proteobacteria) are a specific case of microorganisms that present a great diversity of metabolisms and distinct ecological environments. As a survival response to these different habitats, they have developed a stress response system called the General Stress Response (GSR), which allows them to survive in changing environments with stressful conditions [2].The core of the alphaproteobacterial GSR system encompasses three main proteins: an extracytoplasmic function (ECF) sigma factor (σ factor) EcfG; an anti-sigma factor (anti-σ factor), NepR; and an anti-anti-sigma factor (anti-anti-σ), PhyR [3]. PhyR, consists of a unique multidomain protein that links signal transduction, acting as a phosphorylation-dependent protein-associated "switch" that also regulates the bacterial GSR system. In the case of Sphingopyxis granuli TFA, these regulatory proteins are duplicated in two different clusters, and whose functions within the GSR system have been accurately characterized.In the case of TFA, there are four histidine kinases of the HWE and HisKA2 subfamily that could be involved in the regulation of PhyR (SGRAN_1165, SGRAN_1773, SGRAN_2544 and SGRAN_3483). In this work we have constructed single, double and triple mutants to study the involvement of these histidine kinases in the regulation of GSR in TFA and its role in protection against environmental stresses.Methods: The experimental approach consists in constructing in frame deletion mutants of the genes encoding the histidine kinases.The aim is to observe the response to different environmental stresses (desiccation, osmotic, heavy metal and oxidative stress) and thus examine their involvement in the regulatory cascade.Results: As a result, the successful construction of one single mutant in ΔSGRAN_3483, two double mutants in ΔSGRAN_1773_ΔSGRAN_3483 and ΔSGRAN_2544_ΔSGRAN_3483, and one triple mutant in ΔSGRAN_1773_ΔSGRAN_2544_ΔSGRAN_3483 was achieved. Additionally, the phenotypic characterization of their stress response was carried out, obtaining some clear evidence of its involvement in the GSR in TFA
Redes Sociales en Educación Superior: Revisión Sistemática de Literatura (2018-2023)
Get PDFThis review describes the use of social media in higher education, emphasizing the practices and the roles of teachers, who perceive them as a distracting and addictive element as opposed to the perception of students. A systematic literature review was conducted (2018-2023), following the PRISMA protocol, were 71 articles extracted from the Wos and Scopus databases were analyzed to answer four general research questions. The evidence shows the importance of an active role in the teacher guiding emerging methologies during the teaching-learning process, in wich consequences appear that the authors classify as positive and negative based on three factors: social media, students and teachers. Social media are associated with learning results, use promotes motivation and commitment, generating better results. Due to the global nature of this resource and social, cultural and economic differences, a digital divide is created that hinders or favors the use of this resource as an educational tool.Esta revisión describe el uso de las redes sociales en la educación superior, haciendo hincapié en las prácticas y roles docentes, quienes las perciben como un elemento distractorio y adictivo en contraposición a la percepción del alumnado. Se llevó a cabo una revisión sistemática de literatura (2018-2023), siguiendo el protocolo PRISMA dónde se analizaron 71 artículos extraídos de las bases de datos Wos y Scopus para dar respuesta a cuatro preguntas de investigación generales. Las evidencias muestran la importancia de un rol activo en el docente guiando metodologías emergentes durante el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, en el cual aparecen consecuencias que los autores califican como positivas y negativas en función de tres factores: redes sociales, estudiantes y docentes. Las redes sociales se asocian a los resultados del aprendizaje, relacionando elementos como el uso excesivo a unos malos resultados y adicción, por el contrario, un uso adecuado fomenta la motivación y el compromiso generando mejores resultados. Debido a la globalidad de este recurso y a las diferencias sociales, culturales y económicas se crea una brecha digital que dificulta o favorece el uso de este recurso como herramienta educativa.
Análisis de visualización bibliométrica sobre el estrés laboral de los docentes
Get PDFTeacher work stress has been a matter of great concern for scholars. To better comprehend the current state of research on teacher work stress, it is essential to present an overview of the literature on this topic. Through bibliometric analysis, 212 pieces of literature on teacher work stress retrieved from the Scopus database were scientifically analysed. Statistical analyses of the selected literature indicate that research on teacher work stress has exhibited a gradually increasing trend in recent years. The previous research focuses on job satisfaction, teacher self-efficacy, and job burnout. In addition, job burnout, turnover intention, resilience, university teachers, gender, and job performance are the current cutting-edge themes. Bibliometric analyses of the literature on teacher work stress can provide insight into the current state of related research and reveal hotspots and trends. This study could serve as a valuable reference for future researchers, helping them to gain a better understanding of the field's development direction and to devise effective strategies for managing work stress.Examining bibliometric data on teacher work stress can offer valuable insights into the present status of relevant research and identify key areas of focus and emerging patterns. This study could be a helpful resource for future researchers, both in their comprehension of the field's development trajectory and in the creation of effective ways for handling work stress.El estrés laboral de los profesores ha sido motivo de gran preocupación entre los académicos. Con el fin de obtener una comprensión más completa del estado actual de la investigación sobre este tema, es crucial brindar una visión general de la literatura existente al respecto. Mediante un análisis bibliométrico, se examinaron científicamente 212 trabajos sobre el estrés laboral de los profesores, recuperados de la base de datos Scopus. Los análisis estadísticos de la literatura seleccionada revelan una tendencia gradualmente ascendente en los últimos años. La investigación previa se ha centrado en aspectos como la satisfacción laboral, la autoeficacia del profesor y el agotamiento laboral. Además, el agotamiento laboral, la intención de abandono, la resiliencia, los profesores universitarios, el género y el rendimiento laboral emergen como temas de vanguardia en la actualidad. Los análisis econométricos de la literatura sobre el estrés laboral de los profesores pueden arrojar luz sobre el estado actual de la investigación relacionada y revelar puntos clave y tendencias. Este trabajo puede servir como una valiosa referencia para futuros investigadores, ayudándoles a obtener una mejor comprensión de la dirección de desarrollo en este campo y a diseñar estrategias efectivas para gestionar el estrés laboral
Culto imperial en Hispania: : el poder divino del emperador en Tarraco
Get PDFThe imperial cult is a complex issue that has been treated and studied by traditional historiography, always placing it in the purely political sphere and leaving aside the religious aspect of the event. According to this view, the imperial cult is nothing more than an act of political hypocrisy without any religious connotation. However, our work arises precisely from a different paradigm, which began to be glimpsed in the studies of Hopkins and Price, who for the first time located the imperial cult within the Roman religion. It is for this reason, from the prism of the History of Religions, where our study finds meaning. Thus, we begin by making a theoretical approach to the imperial cult and then study the specific case of the city of Tarraco. Here we have sufficient evidence to indicate that perhaps the imperial cult was not, as has been suggested, a political element directly linked to the greatness and importance of the city, but rather a flexible religious element that was practiced in a wide range. of places in the form of true devotion.El culto imperial es una cuestión compleja que ha sido tratada y estudiada por la historiografía tradicional ubicándola siempre en el ámbito de lo puramente político y dejando de lado la vertiente religiosa del acontecimiento. Según esta visión, el culto imperial no es más que un acto de hipocresía política sin ninguna connotación religiosa. No obstante, surge nuestro trabajo precisamente desde un paradigma diferente, que se comenzó a vislumbrar en los estudios de Hopkins y Price, quienes situaron por vez primera el culto imperial dentro de la religión romana. Es por ello, desde el prisma de la Historia de las Religiones, donde nuestro estudio encuentra sentido. Así pues, comenzamos realizando una aproximación teórica en torno al culto imperial para luego estudiar el caso concreto de la ciudad de Tarraco. Aquí tenemos evidencias suficientes que nos indican que quizás el culto imperial no era, tal como se ha venido planteando, un elemento político directamente vinculado a la grandeza e importancia de la ciudad, sino más bien un elemento religioso flexible que se practicaba en un amplio abanico de lugares en forma de verdadera devoción
