LAS CASAS ALÉM DOS PIRINEUS: circulação e disputas políticas nas traduções da Brevisima relación de la destrucción de las Indias e outros escritos lascasistas
Get PDFThe Dominican friar Bartolomé de Las Casas (1484-1566) played a prominent role in the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries, especially through his work "Brevísima relación de la destrucción de las Indias," originally written in 1552. This work gained circulation in Europe through translations in Dutch, French, English, German, and Latin from the second half of the 16th century. This article aims to identify the key elements that shaped interpretations of the "Brevísima" in the various contexts where it was translated. To achieve this, we will undertake a comparative analysis between the translation by Jacques Miggrode in 1582 and Las Casas' original text. Additionally, we will examine the illustrations that accompanied the friar's text, starting from Theodor de Bry's edition in 1596, seeking to understand the role of imagery in the dissemination of Las Casas' ideas.O frade dominicano Bartolomé de Las Casas (1484-1566) desempenhou um papel de destaque nos séculos XVI, XVII e XVIII, especialmente por meio de sua obra "Brevísima relación de la destrucción de las Indias", escrita originalmente em 1552. Essa obra ganhou circulação na Europa através de traduções em holandês, francês, inglês, alemão e latim a partir da segunda metade do século XVI. Este artigo tem como objetivo identificar os principais elementos que moldaram as interpretações da "Brevísima" nos diversos contextos onde foi traduzida. Para isso, empreenderemos uma análise comparativa entre a tradução realizada por Jacques Miggrode em 1582 e o texto original de Las Casas. Além disso, examinaremos as ilustrações que acompanharam o texto do frade, a partir da edição de Theodor de Bry em 1596, buscando compreender o papel da imagem na disseminação das ideias de Las Casas
REDES SOCIAIS E POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS NO COMBATE ÀS MÚLTIPLAS FACES DA POBREZA
Get PDFSocial Networks and Public Policies in fighting the multiple faces of poverty. This work discusses the subject of poverty, by approaching its different conceptions and interconnections, as well as its interlocution with the local public social inclusion policies´dimension. Methodologically, we looked for a theoretical and conceptual problematization on poverty, from a bibliographic research and case studies, as a multifaceted analytical category, discussing its conception, measurement and interconnections through the discussion of environmental and family dimension, as well as the reflection of poverty policies and its reduction strategies. The evolution of approaches about poverty passes through a one-dimensional conception to a multidimensional. In this scenario, it can be concluded that the poverty reduction policies should consider both the immediate needs of different family arrangements and the dimension of their social networks, as perceived and experienced programs and social actions as a universal right, that is, as a citizenship right. Esse trabalho trata do tema da pobreza, abordando suas diferentes concepções e interconexões, bem como sua interlocução com a dimensão das políticas públicas locais de inclusão social. Metodologicamente, procurou-se, a partir da pesquisa bibliográfica e estudo de caso, uma problematização teórico-conceitual sobre a pobreza, como categoria analítica multifacetada, discorrendo sobre sua concepção, medição e interconexões, por meio da discussão sobre a dimensão ambiental e familiar, bem como da reflexão acerca das políticas e estratégias de combate à pobreza. A evolução dos enfoques acerca da pobreza passa de uma concepção unidimensional para multidimensional. Nesse cenário, pode-se concluir que as políticas de combate à pobreza devem considerar tanto as necessidades imediatas dos diferentes arranjos familiares e a dimensão de suas redes sociais, quanto devem perceber e vivenciar os programas e ações sociais como direito universal, isto é, como direito de cidadania

Get PDFThinking about access to social assistance and the relationship with work presents itself as a challenge, especially in the current context, where access to the world of work, even in precarious conditions, becomes increasingly scarce and, represents synonymous with needs met, contributing significantly to the increase of the public that demands social assistance attention, as well as its diversification. The aggravating fact is that the offerings become increasingly precarious in this field, in view of the neoliberal offensive that persists in the deregulation of social rights in all possible fields.Pensar no acesso a assistência social e a relação com o trabalho se apresenta como um desafio, especialmente no contexto atual, no qual o acesso ao mundo do trabalho, mesmo em condições precárias, se torna cada vez mais escasso e, sua garantia não representa sinônimo de necessidades atendidas, contribuindo significativamente para o aumento do público que demanda atenção da assistência social, bem como sua diversificação. Get PDFThis article presents a performance of social work in schools linked to the government program “Priority Intervention Educational Territories” (TEIP) in Portugal. professional category and the teip program, with the aim of demonstrating the potentials and obstacles of social work in teip schools. You don't know what is the biggest obstacle to social work performance in the program if it shapes the social worker contractual arrangements, which have a short time limit in each school, resulting in disruption of the intervention process and bonding with students, family and community served by the program. O presente artigo traz a atuação do serviço social nas escolas vinculadas ao Programa governamental “Territórios Educativos de Intervenção Prioritária” (TEIP) em Portugal. A reflexão baseia-se no Despacho normativo nº 20/2012 e em referências bibliográficas que apresentam análises críticas em relação ao trabalho desenvolvido pelo Assistente Social no Programa TEIP, com o objetivo de demonstrar as potencialidades e obstáculos da inserção do Serviço social no referido programa. Notou-se que o maior obstáculo da atuação do Assistente Social no programa, ocorre nos moldes contratuais desses profissionais, face ao restrito limite de tempo de permanência em cada escola, resultando na ruptura do processo de intervenção e do vínculo estabelecido com os estudantes, famílias e a comunidade, abrangidos pelo programa

História em Quadrinhos: COVID-19 - O inimigo invisível
Get PDFSupervised Internship IV, mandatory at undergraduate level, is allowed in several areas of knowledge acording to the curricular structure from Biological Sciences course. The developmnent of this study took place in State School in a city in the northwest of São Paulo, in three steps: the production of the Comic Book, the observation and the teaching part. The Comic Book “COVID-19 - The Invisible Enemy”, which is about the virus SARS-CoV-2; COVID-19, its symptopms, ways of diagnosis and its reactions to the immune system. Furthermore, the reading of the Comic Book was done in group with the students in a more dynamic way to approach the structures, the biological processess and the organism reactions during a virus infection. Nowadays, with the COVID-19 pandemic, the spreading of false information on social media together with the students’ discouragement when it comes to learning about the thematics, due to the names and difficult biological processes and low comprehension of what this mandatory intracellular parasite is, makes the protection of the population - who does not understand about this subject - even more difficult. We consider that, by the end of the internship, the students will be able to understand more about the characteristics of a virus, its propagation, the reactions of the immuune system in an infection and the importance of immunization.O Estágio Curricular Supervisionado, obrigatório na modalidade de Licenciatura, é permitido em diversas áreas do conhecimento de acordo com a estrutura curricular do curso de Ciências Biológicas. Por meio do estágio os profissionais de educação consolidam conhecimentos teóricos com a prática docente na sua formação. Neste contexto, o objetivo deste estudo é produzir uma revista de História em Quadrinhos (HQ) sobre a pandemia Covid-19 para ser utilizada em sala de aula como material de apoio às aulas, tornando o conteúdo mais dinâmico para os estudantes, estimulando o conhecimento científico. O desenvolvimento do presente trabalho aconteceu em uma escola estadual de uma cidade do noroeste paulista e foi constituído de três etapas: produção da História em Quadrinhos, regência de aulas e avaliação. A história produzida foi intitulada “COVID-19 - O inimigo invisível" e abordou os seguintes assuntos: o vírus SARS-CoV-2, a COVID-19 e seus sintomas, formas de diagnóstico e reações do sistema imunológico. O trabalho foi avaliado pela produção de painéis e resposta a questionário de conhecimentos sobre o SARS-Cov-2 e a Covid-19. Resultados mostram que os alunos gostaram da HQ e foram capazes de entender melhor sobre as características de um vírus, sua propagação, as reações do sistema imunológico em uma infecção e a importância da vacinação. Consideramos que a utilização de HQ para o ensino é uma ferramenta adequada e atrai a atenção dos alunos para o assunto a ser desenvolvido

Marx, how the rise of the bourgeoisie and the productive capitalist organization are linked to a particular way of seeing the law and the institutions within a specific historical context: the beginning of modernity. On the one hand, it is demonstrated, through a historical and bibliographical analysis, the legal-moral assumptions underlying the legitimization of bourgeois politics and, on the other, it is analyzed the effects arising from this legitimation for the formation of the legal-moral superstructure of modernity. It is intended to present an overview of this historical movement and its consequences.Este trabalho avalia, a partir de uma visão materialista, sobretudo a de K. Marx, como a ascensão da burguesia e da organização produtiva capitalista estão ligadas à uma forma específica de ver a lei e as instituições dentro de um contexto histórico determinado: o início da modernidade. Por um lado, demonstra, através de uma análise histórica e bibliográfica, os pressupostos jurídico-morais subjacentes à legitimação da política burguesa e, por outro, analisa os efeitos decorrentes dessa legitimação para a formação da superestrutura jurídico-moral da modernidade. This article will present contributionsfrom the PSB to the families that are served by this system, which,according to the PNAS, aims to prevent situations of vulnerabilitythrough the development of potentialities and acquisitions, and thestrengthening of family and community ties. Firstly, the concept of thePSB will be presented in this article and later the contributions to thefamilies served by the services of ered by them through and only bythe CRAS. It is hoped that this article can contribute to thenon-stereotype of welfarism imposed by neoliberalism over the years,as well as so that the reader can understand the right in the light ofthe Social Assistance Policy through CRAS, its services and impactsfor the community served.Observando a Política Nacional de Assistência Social –PNAS, o CRAS é a unidade estatal responsável pela efetivação daProteção Social Básica - PSB, através de uma base territorial, quecompreende áreas de vulnerabilidade social. Este artigo apresentarácontribuições da PSB às famílias que são atendidas por este sistema,que segundo a PNAS tem por objetivo a prevenção das situações devulnerabilidade por meio do desenvolvimento de potencialidades eaquisições, e o fortalecimento de vínculos familiares e comunitários.Primeiramente será apresentado neste artigo o conceito da PSB eposteriormente as contribuições para as famílias atendidas pelosserviços das mesmas que são ofertados através e somente pelo CRAS.Espera-se que este artigo possa contribuir para o não estereótipo deassistencialismo imposto pelo neoliberalismo com o passar dos anos,bem como com que o leitor possa compreender o direito à luz daPolítica de Assistência Social através do CRAS, seus serviços eimpactos para a comunidade atendida
